Great pub with live sport, music & good food all with a friendly & welcoming atmosphere

Food overcooked and tepid. No hospitality more hostile indifference. Wrong cutlery. In short overpriced, pretentious. This was 70th birthday family celebration for 11 people. Lot of money for a near wasted evening!

Always visit Rainbow when in Southport. Good food, good potions and fair price. Probably do have off days but we've never experienced it. Remember it's a take away not a restaurant.

Such a shame but this place has gone so downhill!!! Last time I visited was almost two years ago and the milkshakes were quite nice. But on my last visit this month, the kinderella milkshake was below average. There was hardly any flavour. Really chunky it was almost impossible to drink through a straw. The place was empty and it was mid afternoon on a Saturday. We walked in to two girls “working”. They were just sat on their phones. One of them didn’t even look at us and the other girl simply said “hi” with no emotion. A small smile would have been nice. She took our order and served it to us a few minutes later and the entire time she never showed any form of customer service skills at all. She was so so rude I actually could not believe it. I spoke with friends after and they all agreed they have had similar experiences to us! She never once said please or thank you. Never smiled at us. And never made us feel welcome. Her attitude was the worst I have ever seen and I will not be returning because of her.

Been using this café for a few months now and have been quite satisfied with food and service from friendly staff. Went today and was very disappointed as the breakfast portions were reduced and bacon was difficult to chew,The egg was small and my husband only got half a cup of coffee. I think they must be trying to cut costs So we will not be going again.

The barmaid was very hostile and encouraged other bar staff and the owner not to serve me in spite of me having had one round there in the previous hour. I was prepared to pay for a £40 round for me and my father but the barmaids conduct encourages me to never return again.

Lovely freshly made bacon barms muchbetter than those at Costa. Going back to try the pies some time soon

Only had cocktails however they were well made and served with a smile 😃

We have been coming here for over a year and we've always enjoyed our meals We normally have lotus special chicken with fried rice, king prawn in Cantonese sauce with boiled rice and king prawn in oyster sauce with boiled rice. Five stars from Pete and Toni😊

Where better to wait for your Merseyrail 🚊 than here? Just enough time to have a piece of warmed up banana bread with mascarpone cream along with a schooner of Steady Rolling Man Pale then a 2 minute walk to the Southbound platform. Some great attentive staff on duty today 👍🏻

Footlong, hash browns, drink and crisps. Ordered online, food arrived promptly and hash browns where still hot!!

This pub is a lovely pub but beware of parking fines, i have visited this pub on many occasions day and evening , i visited with my sister and niece a few weeks ago and were totally unaware of any parking restrictions as there was never any before on previous visits last year .I rang the pub to discuss this but only got an answer machine saying to leave a message and would get a call back , NEVER recieved one !!! We were stung for £60 by Euro car parks, filled in a dispute online explaining we were in the pub , would have been on cctv , what drinks were bought , so would have had proof but declined my explanation and had to pay the fine ..so BEWARE everyone ..we wont be useing this pub anymore ...pubs are closeing on a regular basis , this pub will be joining the queue eventually thanks to Euro parking !!!!

It is great! The food is delicious and if your coming to Southport to go to the beach or watch the awful football like me then stop here watch as they make the best pizza y my will ever have and the crunchiest and delicious fries the staff are nice and polite and friendly would recommend!!!

Great local Chinese takeaway. We’ve ordered from here at least 5-10 times and have been very happy with our order every time.

We ordered on just eat for me and my mum and we ordered a sausage and egg muffin which the sausage patty was raw and pink so it had to go in the bin and the bacon sandwich had big bits of grissel in , we won’t be ordering from here again
