Been using this café for a few months now and have been quite satisfied with food and service from friendly staff. Went today and was very disappointed as the breakfast portions were reduced and bacon was difficult to chew,The egg was small and my husband only got half a cup of coffee. I think they must be trying to cut costs So we will not be going again.

Also known as Bill Rimmer's cafe. See reviews for that establishment as they refer to this tea room. It's great. Great food, great prices and very well served.

I come here with my mum and auntie as we like to go out for lunch. The service is great and the food is always good. I love how they put handmade knitted tea cosy's on all the teapots, a cute and quirky idea. The prices are so cheap and the place is clean. Its currently being expanded so is closed for a few weeks but we can't wait to go back and see what they've done with the place.

After being referred to here with a friend we ordered a 'farmers breakfast' & 'full english' to which we forgotten to specify how we like our eggs cooked within two minutes after ordering we had realised we attempted to specify how we like our eggs but we got nothing but attitude back telling us we had to specify and they were going to be fried.... A small but yet a very frustrating encounter, as things started to decline my friend who referred us then discovered he had two hairs in his breakfast, poor service and poor handling in the kitchen clearly. Apart from the food being okay I was utterly disappointed in the way we were treated.

Just been to Bill Rimmers for brunch and discovered that this is actually the Tea Room at Longacres. They are the same place.

Very busy tea room. Pleasant staff and good food, prices are good. Ample parking, outside seating area where dogs are allowed and a farm shop as well.

We spotted the cafe sign and took a chance, expecting to find the usual expensive tea shop offering poor choice and high prices.Instead we found a delightful cafe offering a full English Breakfast for £4.75 including tea, juice and toast! The staff were charming, the service rapid and the food.........excellent.Definitely one to go back to.

A beautiful meal, probably the best chinese in Southport. Wendy the hostess is a lovely lady and makes one feel so welcoming. We will definitely be back....fabulous

This used to be a good bar but is now just a high priced dog compound. 9 dogs in this very small bar. Wouldn't order food given the smell of dogs and lack of washing of hands by bar staff after feeding treats to the dog. Don't bother, there are better alternatives in Formby.
