Sandon Crown in Sefton

Tonight's search for the perfect chippie took me to Lams, Carr Meadow Hey. I've got to ask why chippies seem to find it so difficult to make edible chips and Lams didn't disappoint. I ordered my usual meal of steak and kidney pie and chips, oh yeah I asked for a sausage for my dog. When I got them home and put them on the plate I can only say that the chips were awful, on a par, or even worse than Peep's. After picking out the crisps, bits and even chips still with the peel on I was barely left with enough chips to go on a small plate. On the plus side, the pie was nice. Oh yeah.... the sausage, the dog wouldn't touch it. The search goes on.

Great 80th Birthday celebration at Chy. One of our favourite restaurants due to consistency with food and service. Staff are always so welcoming and we are never rushed.

Best Chinese I have ever had!!!! The staff was so friendly and kind and so helpful. The food was delicious everything I could not fault… The price was very good. Very relaxing restaurant and the fish tank was a bonus. Well worth the money Plus Wen was a beautiful server very professional, a treasure to have❤️
