On my second visit to Nam, I once again had an exceptionally pleasant experience. The beef pho is a heartwarming, especially on chilly days, and is a must-try for everyone. The consistency in the quality of other dishes is also great. During my first visit, I enjoyed the crispy fried calamari (though I missed taking a photo). The pork belly buns are equally amazing. However, Nam’s chicken wings are my personal favorite. Frankly, I’m not sure as to why this place isn’t more popular, especially when compared to another Vietnamese restaurant in Ancoats. In my opinion, Nam offers far better food and service.

We’ve been ordering from Amigos for at least 2 years, probably 3 nights a week or more. Last night we returned from holiday and just wanted quick food. After an hour and half my husband phoned chasing food and was told it would be another 15 minutes or so, so he questioned the time shown on the website which stated 45 minutes, only to be told they’ve been busy and to order from elsewhere in the future 😡😡😡

After buying £20 worth of food from this chippy,it was a total waste of money. My salt and pepper chicken was actually chicken nuggets,my dim sum was burnt,I dont know how you burn dim sum as you steam dim sum and it taste was awful. The best was the chips, they were oven chips, you definitely wouldn't expect that from a chippy. I can only advise to avoid this chippy.

We went for dinner at 7.30 on a Saturday evening and were advised that they only had one steak left and one pork dish They also had no sourdough and when the steak came it was cold as were the chips... The service staff were unapplogetic and appeared to not give a dam we enjoyed ourselves or not !! Terrible evening On entry to the bar, there were no draught pale ales or bitter, the options of bottled beer were poor.... Estrelle et al

What an experience. Amazing pastry’s served at Pollen. Fresh pastry’s and classics. They serve specials and this time we had the pear vanilla cream danish. This was incredible. The coffee was really good. Served in cool cups. I would 100% recommend and is up there as one of the best in MCR

My wife and I found out about Cha Ology through our son who had visited previously. Established in Manchester for more than 8 years, Cha-Ology closes the world off around you and hugs you into a womb of peace and serenity through the taste and contemplation of various Japanese teas and sweets. For our visit, we chose a summer teas menu with a number of unique tasting experiences ranging from a tea brewed with a circular block of ice through to a roasted hazelnut tea as a warming drink. To accompany the teas, we also had some red bean paste desserts, tofu in jelly and delicious green tea and milk chocolate. Although on the expensive side, the experience is very immersive, transports you to a corner of Japan for a few hours and benefits from very knowledgeable and welcoming hosts. Highly recommended!
