We enjoy the coffee time in black milk we had flat white hot chocolate And americano with very tasty cookies

Great coffee the have decafe, and good cookies.Needs to work on the decoration more, it feels like empty shop inside.

Wow £6 for two sips worth of an average milkshake I'm really disappointed 😞 Update: 22/10/2024 contacted the owner via email and received a reply, but then nothing more so that was a complete waste of time. If you're going to reach out to dissatisfied customer, it's probably a good idea to not upset them a second time. 12/11/2024 In the reply email you sent there was no mention of a time to arrange a visit, so my response was completely valid.

I haven't forgotten! Rsrsrs.. 😁 Black Milk is such a cozy, calm and beautiful place to try a delicious pancakes, and for me the most delicious pancakes in Manchester. I would like to thank Gaz and Daisy for welcoming me so warmly and preparing a beautiful dish, a pancake with biscoff and ice cream on top and a delicious hot chocolate prepared with so much care that it looked like a work of art. So delicious! Thank you so much once again. The best place to eat pancakes is definitely at Black Milk. Congratulations on the establishment and the service you provide. Carla.

My daughter and I visit here a few times a year for pancakes together. Always really lovely staff and the food is filling, cozy and sweet. Their creams are really nice and worth buying to put in your own bakes or even on toast at home. Milkshakes are definitely worth having once in a while too, huge but tasty.

ABSOLUTE FIRE!!! super yummy, incredible staff, insanely sweet so you might have to take breathers but it is WORTH IT!

La leche negra es una fuente independiente confiable de golosinas, especialmente los domingos. Vamos al menos cada dos meses por helado o tal vez algo más. El personal es siempre amable y servicial y nunca hemos esperado mucho tiempo para nuestra comida. Este domingo compartimos las tortitas de caramelo salado y biscoff con una cucharada de delicioso helado de cereza (vegano) que maridaba tan bien con las tortitas. Las porciones era perfecto para nosotros, no enfermizo tampoco. Absolutamente delicioso y fue novedoso tener nuestras bebidas en un pequeño frasco. Volveremos pronto.

The guy working the day we visited was very kind and diligent (wore a cat apron). The hot chocolate was great. Bought two spreads which were excellent. The service was very good!

Gaz and Oli were Incredibly accommodating and the deserts are simply amazing

the desserts were fantastic! i went with my friends and we enjoyed ourselves a lot. the pancakes were my favourite. gaz and oli were also great servers to us and were lovely!

Super friendly staff and amazing desserts, I had the white chocci cookie n you could taste da freshness! Also, absolutely the most banging playlist I’ve ever heard in a cafe, vibes were immaculate the whole time I was munchin 💅

My husband and I tried the sticky toffee pudding and the chocolate chip cookie with hazelnut and pistachio gelato respectively and honestly they were very yummy but the star of the show was the kind young man who served us. He was subtly welcoming and really made us feel at home, asking little questions like if I wanted a cup and ice to go with the canned drink I picked out. Honestly above and beyond with little details like candles on tables, nice plates, and sweet decor. Would be a lovely spot for a decadent date night. Plants might benefit from a little attention. :) there is a toilet available also for anyone traveling or otherwise far away from home who might need a pit stop with dessert.

Entré y fui recibido por el personal. Estaba sentado sin esperar, y me sirvieron en cuestión de minutos. Este lugar es en serio una joya escondida entre las masas, ya que no solo fue el batido que pedí conmigo en pocos minutos, sino que también fue muy delicioso. Recomendaría encarecidamente este lugar como lugar de postres!

Staff very friendly and accommodating! Order the banana bread and kinder pancakes. Was very impressed when the banana bread came with 2 slices, heated up with chocolate and cream! The kinder pancakes were enormous and they definitely weren’t skimpy on the toppings! Very good quality and quantity of food for the price. From what I remember the pancakes were around £8-10 and the cake £4/5, which is very very reasonable for the huge servings!!!!

This was a last minute go to “Black Milk” for a little brunch calming atmosphere very filling pancakes we got the pistachio! A good place to stop by to have a chat. Brilliant service.

We’ve been a couple of times and the food and service is fantastic. We last went at the weekend with a grumpy toddler and the two staff members working were so accommodating - bringing stickers to entertain him. I would definitely recommend 👍🏻

Postres muy agradables han sido dos veces y tenían Panqueques de pistacho / tortitas de galleta y batido de fresa (que se puede elegir entre un horneado fresco) elegimos un brownie, probablemente el mejor batido de todos los tiempos! Un poco en el lado caro, pero en general un buen lugar para ir a por un pequeño placer!

Wish I could give more than 5 stars. These were the nicest pancakes I've ever had and with such big portions that my husband had to help me finish! Staff are lovely and very happy to explain how to order etc. Honestly will be back next time we visit Manchester

Server was lovely and friendly making the overall experience incredibly enjoyable, not forgetting the food! The cookie is big enough to share which makes it a good price between two!

If you like sweet stuff this is place for you service was bit slow but food was great , after we been before went back again today and was shut no sign up etc and on line said should be open this is 2nd time this has happened , went back today as like to give people another chance new owners and wow food was back to it's best and great service and the mocha coffee was to die for

It was our first time coming here, and we loved the place! Gaz was very welcoming and nice to us. The pistachio pancakes and kinder milkshake we got were also delicious 😊 We hope to come back again!

Couldn’t stop eating it! Now in a sugar coma but enjoyed every minute of getting there. Really recommend the pistachio ice cream and Biscoff cheesecake.

Lovely chill spot, super friendly staff and delicious food! Iced coffees, ice creams and milk shakes are amazing, and the Pretzel Chocolate Chip cookie, served warm, is stellar. Love it!

Always come here when in the Northern Quarter. Great little dessert place for heavenly cookies, brownies, frealshakes and pancakes with ice creams and toppings. We were served by Karol who was really friendly. Oh and they also have some decadent pantry items.

I had the best time with my solo date with pistachio pancakes omg to die for!!!! Gaz was the sweetest person to serve me, I loved it <3

MAY 2024 Here I am again, indulging in a Sticky Toffee Pudding milkshake this time around…SO rich and so satisfying. Thankfully, they have tap water you can help yourself to- makes the whole process a lot more digestible 😹 You can’t really see it in the pic, but there’s a whole pudding hiding within the cream. -- NOV 2023 Black Milk is one of my absolute favourite dessert spots in Manchester. This time around, the Kinderella Pancakes took me on a sweet, chocolatey, hazelnutty voyage. Wondrous! They sell their spreads in jars now, too. -- Wow! I got a vegan Ice Cream Pie and couldn’t believe there was no dairy. It was a big, marvellous, chocolatey, biscuity treat. £10.95 is expensive for a dessert but I thoroughly enjoyed it. My friend got Biscoff pancakes- he couldn’t manage them all but he had the rest boxed up to take home. If you’re a dessert junkie, you need to give Black Milk a visit.

Aquí estoy de nuevo, disfrutando de un batido de Sticky Toffee Pudding esta vez... TAN rico y tan satisfactorio. Afortunadamente, tienen agua del grifo que puede ayudarse a sí mismo - hace que todo el proceso sea mucho más digerible 😹 No se puede ver realmente en la imagen, pero hay un pudín entero escondido dentro de la crema.

The milkshake was good but too sweet and really overpriced (£7.75). For this kind of money I'd expect cleaner and cozier place to sit in and a big signage showing the prices for people who came in for the takeaway and hence don't grab the menu.

Biscoff pancakes were insanely good! Quite slow to make but worth the wait.

The staff are very friendly and you can enjoy free samples of certain flavours at the front. I’d recommend the kinder hot chocolate. It’s fairly rich as you’d imagine but it’s a nice flavour and a reasonable price. It’s baby friendly and they do have high chairs available. You can also sit outside on a nice summer day.

Amazing place self made. Everything is fresh! Came from liverpool and they made the experience worth it! We ordered iced caramel coffee, mango ice cream and biscoff cookie! Everything was awesome!

I really like the amazing pancakes, and nice enough interior. Staff aren’t the friendliest of people though so watch out for that jittery girl with colourful hair and funny smell about her 🤨 they were definitely on something funny 😟

The establishment was nice and cozy with fun decor and music. Gaz and Gabe provided great customer service and were warm and welcoming. My friends and I had a great time chatting while consuming their delectable sweet treats. I had the kinderella milkshake and it met my expectations! My friends also really enjoyed their gelatos. 10/10. Not my first visit and definitely not my last.

I got the Kinderella pancake and it was the best pancake I've ever had, like actually. Pancake was softer that the andrex puppy's cheeks and the amount of sauce was perfect.

The gelato was amazing and the service by Gaz and Gabe were great !

What a little gem! My friends and I love visiting this cute little dessert place, our personal favourites being the affogatos, the sticky toffee pudding and their signature cream spreads (hazelnut and pistachio are to die for). What we rate more than their delicious food is their impeccable staff service! Can’t recommend enough if you want to satisfy your sweet tooth!

We've recently moved in to the area and wanted a great dessert and coffee shop. This place is amazing. The service and staff are really friendly and welcoming, particularly Karol and Gaz. We've found our regular spot.

We arrived and the smell was horrible it smelt like grease, over powering smell actually we had to sit near the door, The pancakes were a great portion size but we kept biting inti hard bits and duno what it was, there was a hair on our table and the cutlery was dirty we had to use our water to wash it, we didn't even stay we tried the pancakes but I couldn't bare the smell in general I feel the place needs a gold clean and some windows opening and maybe a lick of paint. I would go back, it looked nicer on Instagram then it did in person. What a shame

Impeccable service from Kirsty! We loved the desserts and were met with lovely, timely service. Would definitely recommend if in the city centre. Only downside is it isn’t in the most pleasant location, but that is Manchester for you!

It was mentioned that if you subscribe and order from their website you get 10% off but somehow we couldn't order from it, had to order by going to the till.

It is a good dessert place, If you're in town and craving for some delicious milkshake or pancakes? This is the place to be!!! Its an excellent hangout place with friends, colleagues and partners. I went with my family, my kids enjoyed their pancakes (cookies and cream, Nutella and Strawberry pancakes), my wife enjoyed her milkshake and i enjoyed my Pistachio white hot chocolate. We couldn't finish our pancakes.. Saying that the portion is amazing so yes definitely value for money. Parking?! You're in town so best of luck finding that. Overall enjoyed it and yes definitely going there soon again.

We craved something fancier than a restaurant dessert after a family meal. This place didn’t disappoint - there was a bit of a wait so Karol kindly gave a 5 year olds a little treat to keep them sweet 😀 lovely desserts and great service!

After going for a meal in Manchester me and the mrs wanted the best possible puddings Manchester had to offer - After a 30 minute look on google we came across this establishment! And was not disappointed! Staff are supper friendly! Gave me advice on what to have based on what I said I fancied lol. - as I had no idea what to get. the only thing that's stopping it from getting a 5/5 was the price... 2 puddings and 2 chocolate milkshake- cost £40 - I think it could have just done with it being 15%-20% cheaper.

Karol and Kirsty were super friendly and helpful, my daughters loved trying the ice cream. Food came super quick, which is always a bonus with kids and provided a bowl if my four year old dropped her cone. Ice creams were banging and a delicious afrogatto for Dad.

Honestly, I went and found this place due to the many raving reviews and I’m not sure what the fuss was about. I could have dealt with the overpriced milkshake which was mediocre at best, but really what lead me to writing a negative review was the service. The young girl had a lot of attitude and was unhelpful to say the least. Would recommend going ANYwhere else. For example, the kind gentleman at Gingers was very friendly and offered me a free sample as well.

Not good. Food (cakes at counter) and drinks (coffees) very expensive and very late - 40 minutes wait for 2 coffees and 2 cakes when place was not busy. Why? Had to ask for carry outs! Don't know why we even bothered. Should have asked for a refund but we were too polite and always want to support independent businesses I guess.

Disorganised service, and took a very long time to receive our order. Coffee was nice but overall completely overpriced. Seating area looks tired and a bit dirty
