Amazing sushi and amazing hot dishes too!! The decor is beautiful and the whole place was really clean. Please note though that it’s moved to bridge street, central Manchester. We went at lunchtime with our 3 year old, the girl that owns the place served us and was super kind and helpful, we had a sashimi box, that was beautiful, very fresh and just felt a bit more special than your chain sushi places. We also had a sushi roll and it was seasoned with truffle oil and it was sooo delicious!! The hairy prawns were fabulous, highly recommend!! We had a slice of the green tea cheesecake, and that was also delicious. The whole experience felt just that bit more special than other sushi places we have been too, we will be going back!!

So amazing to have Sushi Marvel back in our lives! Went for my birthday and couldn’t have had a better time. The lunch menu is amazing value and the sushi is the best in Manchester !

This was my birthday treat and it was a treat indeed. Beautifully presented food with superb taste and quality. The Hairy Prawns are an experience in themselves and the sushi a work of art and delicate on the palate. They have moved to Bridge Street, I would follow them anywhere. The food is unsurpassable and the kindness and helpfulness of the staff. If you only ever try sushi once in your life, name it at Sushi Marvel, I guarantee you'll be back!

Fantastic little sushi restaurant. It deserves a bigger place and audience. The food was really good and the host was nice. We will be back.

Amazing food, friendly, skilled staff from chefs to front of house. This would be my preferred choice of "the last meal of the condemned man": it is that good.

Sushi was good however the prices really let this place down especially given the location. £15 for an 8 piece role is simply too expensive. We tried the crab roll which was very nice, the purple rain (average) and also had the seared salmon roll which again, was really tasty. Sushi marvel is worth trying but I wouldn’t go back for the price.

Was a quite pleasant place, good food seemed fresh. And the staff were very friendly. Had the boss platter which offered a nice taster of the higher end items.

Really good sushi and not too expensive, we had the medium sharing platter. The staff were really nice and friendly too. It was a smaller place than we expected but we'd reserved a table and were able to choose to sit outside.

They used to be dead nice here and generious with their fillings & portions. Ever since the owner stopped working here and the hike of prices, they have gone downhill! Less fillings, such as soft shell crab and other expensive fillings in their sushi/burrito! Also do not taste as nice as before! The staff their must be slacking because the boss is not around anymore?! Will not be buying food from here again until they sort their standards out to what it once were.

Delivery driver refused to deliver food. Absolutely ridiculous. Quote “I’m not allowed to leave my car”. I pay for delivery not for hide and seek games with your driver.

Excellent service from the young lady on the desk, delicious (and authentic) sushi and the setting was comfy and great for people watching. We ordered too much and were given a great takeaway service-style box to take our surplus home in. Also - great value for money! Will definitely recommend to anybody looking for a terrific sushi experience in Manchester.

Lovely staff, delicious food, cute setting! The menu is great lots of choice and everything’s fresh so they were accommodating with a request to leave out an ingredient. Would definitely return or get take away

Lovely lunch here recently. Quality of the menu items we tasted was very high. The owner is so passionate about what comes out of his kitchen; he spent a good 10 minutes talking us through the menu and the sourcing and preparation of his ingredients. All in a very good lunch.

I’d say it’s an average sushi place. Sushi looked nice, but it was a little bit overpriced for the taste and quality. Also, the location is not the best- it’s on a busy street. No proper table sitting as well, only bar chairs. They have...

This is a small cute little sushi place near Ancoats on Manchester. The inside is small but the decor is very cute with J-Pop playing in the background. The menu is very limited but does have a decent selection of tasty donburi, salmon and tuna...

Fui aquí para un almuerzo de sábado - realmente me gustó la hamburguesa de pollo tirón que tuve - había un montón de eso también! Definitivamente recomendaría

Friendly and welcoming little cafe. Lovely coffee, good service, best cakes. We had the banana bread -moist, spiced and topped with nuts and seeds- and an iced lemon polenta cake also delicious.

The service & staff were pleasant. The food was little better than mediocre. The most outstanding aspect of this experience of eating at Greggs, Cherry St Birmigham was the filthy condition. There were straws on the seats. Servietes on the floor and ripped up sugar containers, all littering the floor. The place wasn't that big and would only have taken 3 or 4 minuets to clean. I asked how they can serve people food in such a dirty environment. I was told they were too busy to clean. I said what about the 2 people in the back, that I could clearly see. She siad do you want to go and ask them? I declined. They have got their priorities wrong. Clean first, serve food second, but then I suppose it's all about making money. I certainly won't go back, and nor will I go to another Greggs.

I had the vegan breakfast which exceeded my expectations, although I felt the placement of a spring roll and falafel was quite random. It was the first time I tried tofu and it was extremely nice. Even the toast was spot on! For £6, it was good value for money, especially knowing I could eat everything in the cafe without having to worry. The smoothies were nice too, but were a bit more like juice since they weren’t as thick as a smoothie. I really enjoyed the vibe of the cafe as everyone was so friendly there, it really reminded me of a cafe I used to work at with its chill atmosphere. Can’t wait to go back. They’re also on this fantastic app called ‘Too Good To Go’ which gives you the food a place has leftover at the end of the day at a reduced price so that it doesn’t go to waste! Definitely check it out if you want to save food from being wasted, or just fancy a surprise for breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Revisited the cafe a couple of times last year. First in Oct where I had a sausage and egg on toast and some tea. Nothing remarkable as the sausage was of the cheap variety. Bought a couple of slices of the fruit cake which looked nice to take away and it wasn't bad! Staff were really nice and there was seating at the back, beyond the store front. Second time was for breakfast after a morning walk. We ordered 2 breakfasts - can't remember which but they were huge! Very impressed when it arrived and the sausages were of much better quality. Very pleased with what we had then but sadly the cafe isn't open as early now so we can't really go before work like we were able to in the past. The cafe has been closed for a while now but hopefully we will be able to visit for brekkie when it reopens.
