Gets very busy and you can be waiting a while for a drink. I didn't try any of the food, Decor and layout is nice and there are spaces you can rent out as there were two functions on. Perhaps this is why it felt so cramped? Bar staff didn't seem to enjoy their place of work as they all looked miserable.

Date night ruined because a server spilled hot Lamb tagine stew on my girlfriend's leg. She ran off to the toilet to clean it up, meanwhile, staff were cleaning the floor, table and chair. After a couple minutes, another employee asked if she was ok and apologised, and I had to tell her that I'm more worried about my gf being burned. It wasn't until then that they went to check up on her in the women's toilets. When my gf came back, she was too embarassed to leave (or even stand up) in a heavily stained dress through Bold Street and just wanted to finish our meal and get out. Once we finished, she went to the bathroom to check on her leg. It was only then that the manager came to speak to me alone. He apologised by saying "Sorry, mistakes happen" to which I replied "They do but that shouldn't and I'm going to have to complain" and he rudely responded "So mistakes don't happen?". I asked for the bill and, though I didn't hear them, it seemed like they were arguing over whether to remove the tagine. The manager sent the server to us to apologise and to charge us for the meal. In the end, they decided to charge us for my meal and a coke. Her leg did get burned (which she told a member of staff), though it's hard to see because of her complexion. Her dress is completely ruined now too. We wish we just walked out.

Absolutely LOVE this hotel. Stayed here at the start of September. It was my wedding anniversary and my husband thought he had booked our usual hotel - the titanic. Upon arrival, he hadn’t!! So they recommended this hotel for a romantic night away, we popped in and spoke to “Asia” on the front desk, who was absolutely INCREDIBLE with us. I’ve stopped in many hotels, all around the world and her service was exceptional. She really looked after us. We stayed in the Bertie suite and it was Devine. Stunning room. We had cocktails in the lounge where the service was just as incredible. And we will absolutely be staying here again. Great value for money too in my opinion! Brilliant service from Asia though I can’t say Thankyou to her enough!

My experience at Santorini Bar & Grill was appalling. We ordered gyros, and to our disgust, there was hair mixed in with the chips — completely unacceptable and a major health concern. But the worst part was seeing our bill come to £42.18, with over £3 tacked on as a service charge. Why should I pay for service when the entire experience was ruined? The service charge should be optional, not forced onto customers, especially when there’s no effort to ensure customer satisfaction. The restaurant is there to serve, and I already paid for the meal — adding a service charge on top of that, without any justification, is outrageous. This experience has left a terrible impression, and I won’t be returning. I don’t recommend going there at all
