The best restaurants in Liverpool North West

I tend to come to both of the arts bars quite a lot whether it’s with friends or my partner for food and drinks. Always a great place to go out, always different events and live music on through the week and weekends and been served by a lot of lovely staff, especially Holly who has always been lovely and really attentive when looking after us.

Me and my friend visited tonight 12.03.25 and WOW. This is a real hidden gem. From the moment we walked in the service was excellent. The food was incredible. Real authentic Greek food with a lovely homely family touch to it. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. If you haven’t been you must try! I will definitely be back.

Qué brillante joya local. Tuvimos nuestra fiesta número 30 para familiares y amigos el viernes. Matty era un anfitrión brillante - tan atento y servicial. La comida era preciosa y lugar de gran tamaño para nosotros. Me alegro de que decidimos apoyar a una pequeña empresa local - quita todo el dolor de cabeza y la limpieza de una reunión en casa. I headed here and the previous lads were sound. Tonight, three young lads cracking on to the two ladies that were in that were tipsy but aware of what was going on. Lad that served me acted like he couldn’t understand me which is fine but u know he knew what I meant. Fast tracked my food and made the burger upside down and every bite is oil. Didn’t even get a drink with my meal. I acted kind still. Just cos of the rapey vibe the 3 lads had. Beware ladies. You have been warned.

I went to a 50th birthday here. It looked amazing. Really good atmosphere, a decent size and a good selection of drinks. The staff were really friendly and helpful too. I would definitely recommend this place for an event or just a drink.

This place is amazing. So quirky and fun. Excellent for a date or friends get together. The service was spot on from Dylan and Destiny. Was never in need of a drink as there was always someone on hand and super friendly. We were really pleased to find out it was 18 holes so we spent a good amount of time there. We got a sharing platter for food and it was bang on for the money- £20 for whole pizza, loaded fries and chicken tenders. Well worth it and will definitely be going back again !

Brilliant beer selection, cask and keg, with a wide bottle choice for taking away. Try a Belgian beer if you get a chance.

Al Dente Restaurant We had dinner at Al Dente last night, and I highly recommend booking a table in advance, as the restaurant is quite popular. The atmosphere is cosy and inviting, with a lively yet comfortable ambiance. Food & Drinks The menu offers a great selection of dishes. I ordered the sirloin steak (medium-rare)—it was flavorful, though slightly chewy in some parts. We also tried the lamb with mashed potatoes, which was incredibly tender and full of rich flavor. For pasta lovers, we sampled the Carbonara—delicious, creamy, and very filling (we couldn’t even finish the whole portion!). The shrimp pasta was equally tasty and satisfying, making it a great choice for seafood enthusiasts. Service & Overall Experience The service truly stood out. The waitstaff were attentive, polite, and knowledgeable, helping us choose dishes and making sure we had a great dining experience. Their attention to detail added to the overall enjoyment of the evening. If you're looking for a delicious Mediterranean dining experience in a warm and welcoming setting, Al Dente is definitely worth a visit. Highly recommended!

Really enjoyed the interesting menu, especially the famous “Disco Cauliflower”. Also had some interesting wines. Friendly attentive service.

Sunday dinner was unreal!!! The two staff who served us were really welcoming & friendly. Would definetely eat here again, such a little hidden gem.
