The food was really nice — full of flavor and beautifully presented. The ambience of the place is also really lovely, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. One thing I noticed was that the staff, while fine, weren't particularly attentive. It wasn’t a major issue, but there were a few moments where a bit more attention would have made the experience even better. Other than that, it's a great place to be, and I would definitely recommend it for the food and atmosphere!

Service was good. The food was tasty. The price for Liverpool wasn't bad. I had the breakfast, and my wife had a chicken wrap. Portions on the whole were good, especially what my wife had. The only issue I had with the breakfast was the sausages. Although not bad, had better. They were small. A niggle I suppose, and some will hate me for it most probably. The wife's was very tasty and a decent portion. I had to do the husbandly thing and help her finish it. Apart from that little bit of fussyness from myself, and just my opinion, it was a lovely little caff with lovely staff, and I would definitely recommend it.

Lovely place, delicious and affordable food

Had a lovely lunchtime meal here on the 6th April! The girls serving were absolutely lovely and really friendly. The food was delicious. There was a slight mix up with our drinks which they could not have apologised about enough and made huge efforts to sort it out straight away! The bonus pudding at the end was such a treat we were so impressed! Thank you so much - great staff, great food!

V Busy place. Breakfast is very good. I had to queue to get in. Had a latte which was good and a traditional classic breakfast which was well presented. Could it have been better? Yes. Bizarrely There was no butter provided for my one piece of toast. Butter is a given wherever I go in the U.K. & Ireland. The very good places provide quality butter such as Netherend butter. I asked for some and was given a pot of margarine!!! A quality place needs quality butter. The overall taste of the breakfast was ok. It wasn’t outstanding. I don’t particularly like eating off a rectangular plate but that’s just me! There isn’t enough room on the plate. As to price, it’s not cheap, about £13 for the breakfast. The staff work hard and service was good. I didn’t have to wait long for my food or drink considering how busy it was. I would rate it 4.4/5.

One of the food spots I highly recommend in Liverpool! The place isn’t too big (if you're a bit late, you'll end up on the waiting list 😂), but you know what? It’s not because the place is small, but because the food is so good that people keep coming back, which is why it’s always busy. The food is delicious, the service is great and fast. Worth every penny. You should try it, guys—highly recommend!‼️❤️✨

In Liverpool for our son's wedding, we popped in here by chance for breakfast the day after the ceremony. What a find. The food was fabulous and the service was outstanding. The atmosphere felt similar to finding a secret place in Notting Hill where everyone knows it's special. As I have said many times in reviews, the personality of those who work in a venue is so important and all those who worked in this Kitchen and Bar oozed it in buckets whilst remaining professional. Finished off with a special treat before we left due to the team finding out why the six of us were in Liverpool, it topped off the perfect start to the day. We will definitely be back.

Contrary to other reviews I was a little underwhelmed by my English breakfast. It was still good but not excellent. My partner loved her avocado on toast. The customer service was really really good. The waitresses were so friendly and attentive - I hope they get paid well

The waitresses were very warm and friendly. We were visiting from Essex and they were very happy to discuss best places for us to visit. The smoothies and iced coffees were absolutely amazing. All the food is presented so beautifully and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. They brought one of our party some mini chocolate brownies as a happy birthday which was a lovely surprise. The only reason I have put the food at a 4 is that I felt that the cheese and egg wrap I had needed something else to round the flavours off. Because we enjoyed the food so much we came back a second day and I ordered egg on toast. They brought sausages with this. As a vegetarian I did not order this but no fuss was made and a new egg and toast was brought which I appreciated. Would love to visit again. The general vibe of the place is very nice to be in.

If you’re in Liverpool, pop in to this place and have yourself an English Breakfast. So many different flavors, textures. It’s magnificent. It’s a bit extra, but get the sourdough bread, it’s fantastic. Service was excellent, I also had a Bloody Mary which was perfect. Right amount of spice, nothing overstays its welcome.

Everything was perfect, we were lucky we did not have to wait long, we had a wonderful brunch with our teenagers : the dishes were succulent, and service lovely and perfect. We Will recommend to everyone coming to visit Liverpool.

Perfect English breakfast, great coffee and very friendly service

What a simply devine lickle gem this place is. I called in today for some brunch as my usual spot was jam packed. I'm extremely glad I did! I had my usual go-to brunch, eggs Benedict with a cheeky bloody Mary. I'll start with the food, cos the cocktail was on another level entirely. The eggs were perfectly poached, more than enough yoke... ORANGE yoke at that and the hollandaise was mwah. Mwah is about as far as I could describe it. As a le cordon bleu trained chef myself I -know- how temperamental that can be to pull off, but honestly, it was like something my tutor threw together on day one all those many moons ago! It was lovely. I'd have preferred more than toasted thick bread (I couldn't call it toast, cos it wasn't your average toast) but that's me being picky. That being said there was a fabulous egg, salmon, toast & spinach ratio. Now... The bloody Mary. I've been drinking these since heavens knows when, and this was hands down the best I can honestly say I think I've ever had. A little on the soicey side for my taste, but I didn't actually say easy on that so my bad. It was lush, and whatever it was that gave it a slight floral top note was surprising, but in the best way possible. The service was fab too, I felt attended too (but not overly so) and the general vibe of the place is rather swish. I'm definitely going to be back. I just hope I'm not my usual libran indecisive stick-with-what-you-know self and try something new. Also, that orange juicer is a bit like me... mental... It had me staring at it for a good ten minutes!

Food was absolutely fantastic, there was a bit of a wait to get in, however was worth it. The only critique I have is the ketchup, it tasted quite acidic, however that’s a very minor thing compared to how good everything else was.

A great full english breakfast. The place is full in the mornings, but the tables keep turning pretty quick and you can find a place with less than 15 minutes of wait. Lovely service by the ladies, you dont feel left out, making you comfy. I walked in here for 3 straight days after my first experience.

We stayed two nights at The Municipal Hotel and were looking for somewhere close. This was right next door. The reviews were good and the queue outside suggested it would be good. It did not disappoint. The brunch was excellent quality. All the staff were welcoming and the service was pleasant and attentive. So good we came back the next day. Would definitely recommend a visit.

Too expensive for the quality of food

We experienced horrendous service at this restaurant. We came for breakfast had to wait to come in then we continued to order and had to wait an hour for the food to arrive. To make matters even worse the breakfast was nothing short of appealing. My friend’s “pancakes” were cold, very small and very unfulfilling. Our sourdough bread was soggy and cold. There were no apologies from the staff for the delay and we left disgusted and disrespected.

We came to the restaurant and were left waiting for over an hour for the classic English breakfast, the pancakes and the salmon and scrambled egg. We were given our drinks at the beginning and because of the long wait all the drinks were finished well before our breakfast came. Staff did not inform us of any kind of wait. When we eventually received our breakfast the toast was cold for the English breakfast and the scrambled eggs and salmon. The pancakes were cold and were tiny and soggy on the plate - a complete rip off for the price. Would not recommend we waited an hour for food and it was not worth the wait .

REPEAT customers! We came from Texas and spent 8 days here in Liverpool. This was by far our favorite breakfast spot and came almost every day. The hot vanilla latte was delicious and beautiful! The service was outstanding - no snobby waitresses here! Love the restaurant vibe. Every single item you get at this restaurant is presented in a five star setup! Absolutely stunning! Even the water has a beautiful presentation! It’s all about the details and this restaurant knows it! Cheers to the chef and staff!

I haven't had such a delicious breakfast in a long time. The pancakes were an absolute highlight. The concept that you don't reserve but just come works great, a table is arranged immediately. Super nice staff, you immediately feel at home there. When we are back in Liverpool we will definitely come back.

Visited with my daughter and two year old granddaughter on Friday. Staff very accommodating and put together a ‘build your own’ meal, not on the menu, for my granddaughter which consisted of things she liked and would happily eat. Enjoyed a lovely relaxed lunch. Food, service and prices are excellent and staff all lovely and friendly. Would definitely recommend to others.

Came for some breakfast this morning and was served by the lovely Suzie. We struck lucky and walked straight into a table, but sometimes there can be a bit of a queue. For the prices you pay, the portions are absolutely gigantic - neither of us managed to finish what we ordered! Food is so well presented and absolutely delicious. Service is fast, but you never feel rushed. Our new favourite spot for breakfast in town! Thank you ❤️

Cute cafe and staff are super attentive

The excellent reviews brought us here. Undoubtedly one of the best breakfasts we've ever had. We did have to wait a few minutes for a table (it's not a massive place) but it was worth every second. The food is exceptional. Cooked fresh, quality ingredients and plentiful. I do like spicy food and opted to include the spicy aubergine with my sausage, bacon, mushrooms, tomatoes and scrambled eggs. Absolutely delicious. Nice kick with it. Decent cup of tea and hubby loved his coffee too. I must add that our waitress, Mia, was delightful. Nothing was too much trouble and service with a beautiful smile. Highly recommended.
