We love the Wavertree Town Hall the food in excellent and the staff are first class nothing a problem 👌

Fantastic establishment for private events and weddings. We DJ’d here for a wedding and the place looks amazing.

We had a great wedding here in August. The registrar was ‘blown away’ by the decor and style of the first floor function room. Staff could not have been more accommodating and supportive. The service was impeccable! Food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommended!

Lovely food. Going to stay for a few drinks. However the barking dogs in the bar put us off Honest dogs barking. Weird

I love this place. I’ve been here a few times and have always been very pleased with the environment, the staff, and the food. The restaurant is beautiful and comfortable. The tapas menu is varied and delicious. The last time I visited was for a child’s birthday party, where they organised a delightful afternoon tea. The presentation was lovely, and the children had an amazing time. I highly recommend this place and will definitely keep coming back.

Visited with family after my daughter's recommendation and was not disappointed. Had a mixture of tapas dishes to share, great selection of meat, fish and vegetable dishes. Jugs of sangria went down well too!! Lovely setting and really friendly attentive staff. Will definitely visit again.

This is a gem of a place, nestled outside of the city centre, but only a 15 minute journey from town. The decor is special, without leaving the guest feeling out of place and the service is excellent- the staff cannot do enough and have excellent knowledge of the menus. I have been here today for a large birthday function with catering and entertainment and everything was just amazing- the food, drink, entertainment and atmosphere. The staff were attentive to everything, leaving the family to just enjoy the occasion whilst the staff took care of it all. No matter when I have been here, whether for the great afternoon small plates, Sunday dinner or private functions, the food is fresh and exciting and I leave planning my next visit. A must for anyone who loves good food!

In need of sustenance we decided to try The Town Hall in Wavertree because we had heard good things. We were not disappointed, the roast dinner was lovely and really quite big plus the desert was as nice. 2 courses for £22.95 is well worth it.

Went with a group of friends, we had a lovely evening, the food was excellent, and the service was second to none, we will definitely be back. Thank you.

Hired the function room for my sisters funeral yesterday. Natalie and the staff could not have looked after us more. The food was amazing but the service was so personal and they all made this exceptionally difficult day so much easier for us all. Could not recommend this place highly enough for any function or event. We have been to the restaurant before too and it is fantastic. Well worth a visit

Booked for Sunday roast never been before it was absolutely lovely pipping hot generous portion delicious food served by a very friendly waiter . We throughly enjoyed it and will be recommending it to others we definatly go back, want to try the tapas next time.

We celebrated my sister's birthday with afternoon tea. There was 8 of us and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The guys that waited on us were attentive and a real good laugh. Wish I knew Their names to give them a shout out coz they made the afternoon all the more enjoyable with their sense of humour. Would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice little celebratory lunch

Lovely Mother’s Day meal enjoyed by all the family!

We went for mothers day, 1st time we've been and won't be the last. Had the 3 course Sunday menu, which was absolutely amazing value. Food was really tasty, decent portions and fresh. What is great about this place is the staff, honestly the nicest, friendliest staff, so welcoming and attentive.

Found it a little expensive for what you got.

Came here for a few cocktails with the girls on on way to a works night out. Staff great& cocktails really good Can’t fault this place and now they have a fire to sit by on these cold days I love it even more.

Friendly staff and food was lovely and good choice of small plates. Extremely busy so lucky we went early and managed to get a table in the bar area. Will definitely book next time.

Excellent service friendly staff great atmosphere

Have visited the Town Hall for dinner and always enjoyed it, so when we had a party to host we knew this would be a great venue for it! The whole team were so helpful throughout the process, nothing was too much trouble. The space looked great, the buffet food served was delicious and I know all of our guests really enjoyed themselves. Highly recommend using Wavertree Town Hall for party hosting or any event! 😊

Went to celebrate my birthday. First time my husband has ventured out after being in hospital. We had an amazing relaxing happy time. The food was really tasty and we prefer small plates. The waitresses were knowledgeable, friendly and worked really hard. The ambience of the restaurant is lovely. The toilets are really clean and located on the ground floor.

We’ve visited here a few times now and always enjoyed it. The food is brilliant and has lots of choice and combinations with monthly specials, and our two year old is always munching from the various plates. Service has always been exceptional from Steve too and the restaurant is always spotless. We’ll be visiting again in no time at all

Food was 5/10, as the vegan brunch option was quite odd and tasted like a Christmas cake. Plus portions were very large, but starters, drinks, and deserts were lovely and service was impeccable.

Yet another mouthwateringly delicious sunday roast at the town hall last weekend, 4/2 We'd been to the Anime Gaming convention at Aintree, then over to the town hall on our way home. 3 of us had the chicken, 1 had the beef. It was all sooooo tasty. The carrots and cabbage tasted home grown, gravy was perfect and the roasties we're absolutely spot on. Not sure how we managed to leave room for desert, but we did. Kids had the nutella churros while I had the brownie and ice cream for pudding, grandad had the sticky toffee pudding 😀 Everyone was full and happy! Big thanks to Steven our hilarious waiter. Can't wait to come back. See you in Spring x

We came for breakfast with Santa on Christmas Eve as a family of 6 as we have done for the last few years . As usual Santa ( the loveliest one you will ever meet ! ) greets you at the door with his elf , Jingles . Inside is absolutely gorgeous with a huge Christmas tree and the warmest of welcomes . Breakfast itself is a really lovely full English and the tea and coffee keep coming . Elsa from Frozen was there too . The children go in turn to see Santa and get a gift . All the staff are so friendly and helpful. A truly magical morning . We absolutely adore it here and would not think of going anywhere else . Great food , great staff , lovely atmosphere. I hired the upstairs room at wavertree town hall for my baby shower. The whole thing was perfect. I booked the hot buffet option, the portions were so generous, there was so much food. The food was delicious, everyone loved it. The room is spacious and so classy, gorgeous big windows, lovely furniture and a gorgeous fireplace. It doesn’t need a lot of decorating to make it look nice. Having its own bar made it feel like we were in our own venue. The staff were so helpful and friendly, they couldn’t do enough for us. Owners lisa Lisa and Nat were brilliant when it came to organising everything. I highly recommend, thank you so much for everything!

Always a great meal at Wavertree Town Hall. The service is excellent with friendly staff who are attentive but also don't rush you. The food is superb. The specials change often and are really carefully chosen. The main menu has a wide range of options to suit all tastes.

I was appalled at my experience at this establishment yesterday. I have spent a lot of time and £ in this bar and restaurant over the last 3 & a half years. Have recommended it to so many people. I will be doing the opposite now and will never step over the threshold again as was made to feel so uncomfortable by the manager. Especially as a woman on your own, please be warned as I felt so unsafe. Like a common criminal when I am a local resident and well known to other business owners. I am setting up my own business in the locality and I will never host an event there. I actually got a refund on an event I’d previously booked. Disgusting behaviour that will be reported to the police. Do not allow your daughters to go especially on their own. I asked for a safe space and was told to leave. Absolutely appalled at this apparent female owned and ran place. Not surprised it’s changed hands. The owners sister in particular made me feel threatened and intimidated. I walked out without finishing my overpriced drink cos she made me feel so unwelcome and uncomfortable. Avoid at all cost. Nicer places a stones throw away
