I ordered a “mega” breakfast, I think that was a push definitely needed more than a scoop of beans portion sizes and presentation were pretty poor however the actual food and items on it were delicious

Found this little Gem on google, and was not disappointed. Your coffee or tea is included in the price of your meal. Large Full English was delish, sausages, toast, beans, tomatos, bacon and eggs. Coffee was out of this world so we got 2! 100% recommend. The ladies were so friendly as well.

I think it would taste nicer if it was hotter and we didn't have to wait that long for it

Order never turned up despite saying it's been delivered! Restaurant can't do anything about it and Just Eat driver gone AWOL. Absolute joke!

I've come to riverside diner pretty much every day for the past year whilst working in the area. The food and service is top tier and the staff are always pleasant and accommodating. Highly recommend this place

Food was well presented and packaged cooked perfectly and came hot would definitely recommend this food outlet to anyone looking for decent breakfast quality food and great prices

Sausages are cheap and awful, they look more like hotdogs than that of quality sausages. Overpriced for an old building that looks like needs knocking down. Overpriced

The food was all shaken up inside the box. Hannah's Kitchen in Garston are way better. Try and not mix all the food up next time It tasted good, nothing wrong with the way it was cooked.

One of the best cafes i have ever been to. Wonderful customer services fantastic prices and service with a smile. The two ladies working there were both happy to take time to talk and help me with some questions as it was my first time vsiiting liverpool. Can't recommend enough it was pereftc

Food boiling, however bit messy in the trays, but I guess it goes down messy. All in all food was nice.

Awful experience facing that breakfast.

Bacon an cheeses toastie arrived cold and toast was soggy🤮 Milky coffee…. May well of been a black coffee.

Enjoy breakfast, Omelette was quite different I expect, egg need to more whisking it was more of frie Omelette but I enjoyed it.

Not too bad but disappointing they didn't deliver my coffee !

I had the large Full English and it was great the food was hot, the cafe is clean tidy and well looked after. The staff are all nice and polite, this will be my regular place for Full English Friday while I'm working locally. Full Marks.

Just had a cheese burger with. Bacon,ulster fry,sausage,egg and bacon in a gorgeous barm with onion relish and lattes , BEST EVER..

Worst omelette I have ever had looked more like a crepe. Was so thin with no cheese filling.

Best chicken curry n chips EVER.. one of us had half n half, chips n rice red hot.. the chicken and there was lots of it, was gorgeous, mushrooms n onions n curry were just perfect.. tried lots of meals here and NEVER DISAPPOINTED, staff are wonderful, as is the latter coffee, THANK SO MUCH

A traditional cafe, great for breakfast, lunch and snacks. No fancy coffees to slow down the service just good old-fashioned food and drinks. The staff are always very welcoming and friendly and the food is inexpensive and just what you need to start your day or give you a boost after a busy morning.

Got to say it is one of the best breakfast I have had try to go there on a Saturday staff are lovely

I usually love this place but I was quite disappointed this time. My veggie sausage sandwich was freezing cold. The sausages were a bit undercooked. They didn’t add sauce like asked for in the notes (not sure when they took the option for Mayo off). Then I ordered a cheese salad pasta, the cheese tasted like sandwich shop grease is the only way I can explain it? If it didn’t have the cheese in it would have been nice. There also just wasn’t much veg to pasta ratio. It’s been great in the past but it was a let down this time especially when spending about £10 on it all

A classic cafe, had full English and kids had bacon and sausage barms. All lovely. Friendly staff and nice clean cafe. Biggest cafe menu I've ever seen. If we pass we will come again.

Asked for cheese and ham toasted barm - got a cold cheese and ham barm.nothing toasted, grated cheese. Cup of tea tasted like warm tap water. Breakfast was nicer but arrived lukewarm.

This hidden cafe serves a fabulous breakfast and is stunning value too. Simply put if you’re anywhere near close, and even if you’re not, you should come here. Spotlessly clean and with simple food well presented it’s an absolute gem (fast WiFi too!).

Ordered toasted buttys an 3 of them was just butterd bread, gutted.

Just had a simple bacon on toast it was beautiful. Very clean and staff great.will go back again for sure.

Food was warm , but very average

The order was placed at 9:20. It arrived at 11:00. The food was nothing to write home about and was only warm when it finally got here. The coffee was very watery. Won't be going back

Food arrived hot but very late. However one of the breakfasts was missing a item and I got given a full sugar drink even though I asked for sugar free for a diabetic. Called the cafe and told the extremely rude lady on the phone about the order and got told “well what do you want me to do about it”... I mean considering the order was late, the food was wrong and the drink was incorrect, she had a serious attitude problem. I said to her the food had arrived that late I’m now leaving for work and couldn’t eat it. She told me that in the time it took to ring about the order, I could of ate the food. She also ‘advised’ me that not to order on a Friday morning and expect the food to arrive on time as that’s a busy day and I should of ordered at 08.00 if I wanted it earlier. Worst experience I’ve ever had with a restaurant and whoever I spoke to on the phone needs a lesson in customer service and etiquette. I’ll take my custom elsewhere. Disgusting attitude.

Took ages to come, guy had been to 2 other deliveries and the food was cold and had been sat in the container sweating. Coffee was cold and undrinkable.

My food was a little late but the restaurant kept me up to date. When it arrived it was piping hot and lovely. Happy Saturday 😊

Great. Would use again. Ordered cooked English breakfasts with tea. Was delivered not warm but hot. Phoned to tell us they were on their way and delivered earlier than expected - bonus.

Fantastic little cafè! We popped in there for a breakfast after a visit to costco, The food was delicious everything was cooked perfectly to our liking. The girls serving us were very helpful and happy. As soon as people left the staff were out giving the tables and chairs a thorough clean down. I Would certainly recommen this lovely cafè.,

Most of the food was cold when we got it nearly 45 mins late. I call to ask where order was after about 25 mins late for the person to answer phone and say she has set of and is on her way. It then cam 20 mins later.

Food was 45 minutes late. Once it got here it was not cooked properly and the toasted sandwiches was cooked using bread that was quite clearly stale. Avoid at all costs. A local customer that wont be returning.
