The best restaurants in Prescot East Knowsley North West

What can I say? Prescot will truly see the end of several eras when Ray’s bakery is sold. Pies, cakes, celebration cakes, bread, scones, mince pies are truly second to none. Many of the cakes are the same recipes I enjoyed as a small child. My aunt used to send me with her shopping list when I couldn’t see over the counter. When I was at high school we would get off the bus on the way home and buy a bag of “brokes” - better than a lucky bag! A “Ray’s Buffet” has been the backdrop of many family occasions, happy and sad. You can actually increase the turnout to a funeral in Prescot with the promise of a “Ray’s Buffet”. The cafe was lovely and is much missed. I will be stocking my freezer before the closure!

Spice Chilli is a must-visit! The food was packed with bold flavors and just the right amount of spice. The chef was incredibly kind and attentive, ensuring every dish was perfect. The presentation was also stunning, making it picture-worthy. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves flavorful, spicy food!

This place is not the closest to our home, but the food is so tasty. Thank you!

I'm disabled and they have just asked me to leave my comfy seat and sit on an uncomfortable seat with a dirty table. I remember why I stopped coming here.

Absolutely fantastic food and lovely staff! We have visited this restaurant on many occasions and the food is always exceptional and so are the staff. We were a large booking for a family occasions with adults and children of all ages. Staff are always attentive and polite and the food never disappoints! The prices are reasonable and we would never spend a family occasion in any other restaurant. Thank you for accommodating our large booking and making our occasions special!

Booked the Sunday roast for 4 people at 4pm today. Got there and there was barely any starters left, no beef roasts and one lamb left. When I asked for the lamb I was told no they need to see if someone else wants it first… why say you have lamb then. So was left with a chicken roast option only. None of the group wanted this and were told ‘we should have booked for earlier as this happens every week’. Why advertise it until 6pm and if you know the popular meats sell out why not stock more if this is the norm? We ended up leaving as there was no options we wanted and going to the steak house round the corner… fully stocked and friendlier staff.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of Papa’s Pizza in Prescot, and to say I was disappointed would be an understatement. From the moment I walked in, the place had an odd, musty smell that should have been my first warning. The staff seemed completely uninterested in providing any level of service and acted like my presence was an inconvenience. The overall experience was abysmal, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to my worst enemy. Save your money and —avoid Papa’s Pizza at all costs.

Food is delicious and excellent value. Love the salt and pepper pork 😋 Staff are very friendly and happy to help with dietary needs.

Ordered food to the hospital someone not well told them the ward ect to go patients name Took the order money never delivered food even though send a email sallying food delivered Disgusting service wouldn’t be useing Sunday ever again after this and will be reporting to just eat and trading standards for having the check to take the money

Came here today with my Dad and son, we were greeted quickly, and felt so welcome, thank you! I was served by Adam, who was lovely, helpful and friendly. Brian spoke to us too, and helped us at the table, they are both brilliant and I look forward to going back, thank you for such amazing service! Even when they were busy, they still had satisfied customers, they are a credit to the company.

Visited tesco this morning with my granddaughter. Unfortunately, she had a seizure and classed( she is ok) I would like to say a HUGE THANKYOU TO THE STAFF They closed the aisle to protect her dignity, and nothing was too much. Sorry, I never got their names, I can't thank you enough, and Jj loved the chocolate buttons xx

Coffee £3 across the road in Mcds £1.40, bit of a rip off, had breakfast there which is okay, cheap produce but high price, not very warm and cold at the end, service is great 👍
