Costa Coffee in Knowsley

Been served by Megan today. I was charged extra for an item I didn’t ask. (mistakes happens ,I get that) apology is enough. But couldn’t hear even that. The spoons been dropped into my tray rudely and face expression was already telling a lot. The lady before me brought back her food to complain about it (wasn’t sure why) and the attitude was the same ,disgusting . I do understand that working with people can be sometimes hard to deal with but there is no reason to show your anger throwing things loud in your face because of her own failure. Will never back again

Visited the Costa store inside Next, Prescot. Whilst the staff member who served us was lovely the atmosphere create by the other staff members was awful. They had cordoned off half the store and forced everyone into a small area. When we ask about seating it was an inconvenience to them, the store was quite busy and three hours before closing time, but the excuse was we are tidying because it’s Friday.

I'm disabled and they have just asked me to leave my comfy seat and sit on an uncomfortable seat with a dirty table. I remember why I stopped coming here.

On Sunday 28th of April 2024 I visited Costa above Next in Prescot. My friend and I waited 20 minutes to pay for our coffees etc. When I got to the front of the queue to get our drinks and food i was tod by the chap serving it was takeaway only, despite serving the customer in front in a proper cup etc. He said this was because he had to clean the shop as it was closing in an hour. I asked for a refund and left. We then went to another Costa in Tesco Prescot. That Cosco continued to serve customers to stay in-house until it closed. I cant help thinking what lazy staff they have in the costa above Next. Never go there again. People with poor attitudes towards customers do not deserve the jobs they have as the ruin the reputation of a good business. Dave

Usual Costa coffee shop. Always nice coffee and. Friendly staff who could ask for more?

Sign says it closes at 7.30pm. Visited at 4.30 and over half the seating had been blocked off meaning there was nowhere for us to sit. We walked out and won't be coming back.

Love the Mocha and Hot Chocolate Staff are always lovely and friendly Sometimes the drinks are not really hot.

Great chill out with the wife, peace for an hr nice drink & snack. Staff great as always.

Don’t think we pay to see your manager shouting around the shop while customers are present. Making a poor woman feel uncomfortable as she didn’t know what to order and the poor lady on the till confused as to why she was shouting ‘it’s not that hard she should know what she wants to order.’ Honestly some people get payed too much to do simple job. Coffee and a smile would be nice, you don’t even have to smile but do me a favour n don’t shout.

Coffee too bitter today.. teacakes have changed for the worse. Stopped cinnamon , they use to put it on the teacakes before toasting- gorgeous 😍. Please go back to orig suppliers.

Usual Costa experience. Staff were friendly

You now have to buy 10 coffees to get a complimentary one and the price of a drink increases nearly every week and the cakes get smaller.

Picked the wrong thing to eat with a tuna panini, very tasty but too much of whatever sauce it is mixed with. Lovely welcoming staff and surprisingly quiet early afternoon.

Went in to collect my daughter who had been kidnapped by her evil mother 😊 staff stayed out of the way and thankfully my daughter lived happily ever after 👍

Nice and cosy place. Quite surprised that there is another one so close. Find the prices quite expensive for what it is.

Can't beat a Costa coffee, the staff are the best as is the coffee and snacks well done Costa.

Nice coffee, waited for a while 2 people working, although one person serving one customer at a time from taking the order to finishing the coffee and handing it over not sure what the other person was doing behind the counter but the que was 4/5 people long, xxx

Lovely cup of coffee staff are great!

Called in with friends for a "quick" coffee ...unfortunately there was nothing quick about the service. Not particularly busy Monday afternoon, and two assistants serving, but one busy trying to fulfil Deliveroo orders, leaving customers standing in the queue. I was the only one waiting to start with, yet it took 20 minutes to get 3 coffees, not a complicated order, just no sense of urgency and a complete lack of customer care...not even the courtesy of "sorry to keep you waiting"...not good at all ☹

Lovely service was served by a lovely lad named Jay very polite young man with a smile 😀

Fantastic coffee. If you're a Coeliac, then it has as absolutely no food options for lunch - apart from crisps and pre-wrapped items like Gluten Free Brownies/Flapjacks

After spending a lovely family weekend in Prescot with our daughter and partner we decided to enjoy a Costa coffee before heading back to Newcastle. As soon as we arrived at 3:35 pm we were told we only had 20 mins. Before we could make our order the contents of the display cabinet were being removed. Our order totalled £20 and was served in disposable cups and paper bags. We were then told we could not sit down to enjoy our order even though the cafe did not close for a further 20 mins as advertised on the placard at the door. The staff were more interested in being out of the door at 4pm. Disgraceful customer service and a disgrace to the organisation!. Very unpleasant experience. M & S would not expect their staff to be walking out of the door at the same time as their customers, I'm sure.

Always very friendly and consistent quality

I am afraid we are Costa holics. However, this is the branch located within Tescos. Does not have a patch on our local one which we use 4/5 times a week which is on same retail park above Next. This one is not so good. Noisy as inside supermarket, staff average and it looks a bit grubby. Also more expensive that Tesco's own in-house Cafe which is adjacent so it is never busy.

Nice Costa , staff are lovely especially the manager Craig.

Spacious place. Convenient, inside the supermarket. Yummy chocolate. Not a great place for vegan though.
