Hotel looks like it been close for many years now every time I go past it close sadly wish someone could do it up I love to take it on myself but the building is too much to buy I gucessing

Good food, good service, extortionate drinks prices. Good quality food, nice meat in curries. Good quality naan bread, and good quantity of food. Really let down by first off, there being no drinks menu on the tables, and secondly on receiving bill, the drinks weren't itemised, but for 3 single spirits and mixers plus 2 bottles of cobra, £39 is ridiculous. I feel ripped off. Another person in our group commented on a large glass of wine being £10+. City centre prices at the back end of Widnes, no wonder it was quiet.

Not been to this chain for years so ordering was a bit confusing but the staff were on hand to help. 3 under 12s who ordered burgers, chips and brocolli with bottomless drinks and ice cream. I had a Mediterranean salad with extra chicken and avocado. We all agreed that the food was good, tasty and hot where necessary. Staff were most helpful and the place was buisy but clean. Wont be the last time we visit.

Came here Saturday afternoon the restaurant was not too busy.The polite waitress was very informative about what was and not on the menu she recommended the pork belly in rum sauce and that was what I ordered my husband ordered the mixed grill. We did not have to wait too long for our food, everything was hot and well presented.Gorgeous food,friendly staff,very nice environment very impressed we shall return soon in the future.

We were staying at the Premier Inn opposite. We expected it to be busy but it wasn't. We waited to be seated, we had booked a table. Somebody was eventually called to allocate a table. We ordered prosecco for fizz weekend but no one seemed to know the correct price and we were overcharged. Food was disappointing. Fish batter was soggy. Burger was just disappointing. I left most of the meal. The person in charge never even asked if we enjoyed our meal, just removed the plates. The person in charge and staff also seemed unaware of promotions advertised around the pub/restaurant and there did not seem to be any interest as to serving customers and no accommodation so far as requests for slight alteration in meals when requested. This was supposed to be a really nice start to a holiday for us but actually, it was so disappointing we won't be back again ...

What a lovely friendly place. I've lived just up the road for 6 years and never been in before. Have alwaysay thought 'must pop in there one day. Will defo be back.

Absolutely wonderful Lamb roast dinner. BELL the waitress was so helpful. DESSERT GORGEOUS. Excellent staff friendly atmosphere.

Consistently higher quality than everyone else in the area. Coffee, lunches and cakes are all amazing, we especially enjoy the new lunch sandwiches.

To be honest this was actually really and truly the best kebab we have ever had. We had the Widnes special kebab with all four meats and it was fantastic, with a lovely charcoal flavor and the meat was so tender and juicy it was delicious. Together with the free cheesy garlic bread and the warm welcome in the shop and the good price made it absolutely fantastic in

Nice place with friendly staff. I wanted to leave this review just to highlight how ridiculously small the cheesecake slices are… don’t bother as it feels like robbery when it arrives. The chips are always yummy but always cool and never hot. And the new pickle burger DONT BOTHER. £15 and it has the smallest chicken fillet known to man. It all slides out when bitten and is very poor value. Think I had 3 pickles (sliced gherkins like Maccies do)

only popped in for a quick butty, bacon/tomato barm. VILE. the balm was semi hard and tasted like it was on the turn, tomato’s tasted like water, and the bacon was just fat, cheapest nastiest thing i’ve ever sunk my teeth into £4.50 for that! someone’s making a profit there… anyways i took one bite and put it on the side, no one said a word or batted an eye lid, go mcdonald’s down the road guys honest.

Service was shocking Staff member said she’d call us when the carvery was ready and just went home, didn’t bother and we had to hear it from another staff member Sat in there 45 minutes waiting as well. It was my 30th birthday and my plans were to catch a train upon departure at 1:10pm - we arrived at just after 11, and didn’t get out in time due to your shocking staff and their half arsed nature. Then on to the gravy - like water. Shambolic. Just like the rest of the place Cost my mum a lot of money for my birthday and left disappointed. Sort it out
