Brewers Fayre- The Buffet Place in Halton

Called in to Brewers Fayre last night with some friends and family. I have to say that we all really enjoyed not only the food but the whole experience from first entering the premises to finishing our last drinks. I personally had the mixed grill which was without doubt one of the best I’ve had in a long time. The staff really made us feel welcome and it felt like nothing was to much to ask them. We was served by a lady called Donna, who again, just made the whole experience a really enjoyable night. I will definitely be returning, thanks to all that made my night.

went for a carvery after a day of pumpkin picking with my friend and our little boys the carvery was absolutely disgusting food quality to the point we left the food the manger was rude towards my friend when she told him of her son allergies towards food the children’s meals were also of poor quality the was also left the only thing the children ate was sweetcorn the manger need trying in customer service I will be reporting our experience to head office

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Brewer's Fayre, and the experience was made even better by the fantastic meal we enjoyed. The food was delicious and exceeded our expectations. The staff were all incredibly welcoming and attentive, making sure we were well taken care of throughout our visit. A special mention goes to the lady with blonde hair and glasses—I'm fairly certain she was the manager. She truly went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. When she found out it was my niece’s birthday, she took the time to personally find a lovely gift for her, which made the day even more special. This kind gesture really highlighted the exceptional level of service at this location. We left feeling thoroughly impressed and will definitely be returning. Thank you to the entire team for making our visit so memorable!

Been sometime since I've done a review of here for various reasons. I'm pleased to say that things are still the same. Good atmosphere, well presented meals, friendly staff. I now make it my Sunday Lunch destination before going on family visits. Craig and Co keep the place ticking over and generally nothing seems to be too much trouble. I enjoy my visits here and am able to relax over my meal and coffee. Will continue to visit this Brewers as often as I can when in the area.

Booked the table mid afternoon, Linda was exceptionally helpful giving me a booth. Ordered our meals via Donna who is always polite, sociable and friendly, Hannah brought our meals and Craig as always asked how our meal was. Cannot compliment the staff at Widnes highly enough, always friendly, obliging, never rude, food is always cooked thourghly and the service is great. Never been disappointed with the food or service, thanks everyone

We visited brewers fayre today as we do most weekends to have a fantastic breakfast at an even better price. We were greeted by the manager Craig who immediately made a very rude remark regarding not booking on a Sunday great! Which made me feel like we were an inconvenience to him as it was busy. We have never booked and always just come in and been seated, had I have known this was required I of course would have done so. We went to the till and he asked me how old my son was I told him he was 16 and he said he’s an adult. I said oh really we have come regularly most weekends for breakfast and there always been an allowance for my son as we have been told many times it was 16 the cap for children. (I absolutely do not have a problem with paying for my son, however it was the rudeness in answering me that shocked me.) Again in a very rude manor Craig snapped back at me and said that it was UP TO 16 and that was it, he seemed like it was annoyed that I had asked and an inconvenience for him to have to explain it to me, so I just paid for my son and we sat at our table and enjoyed our breakfast. The children loved it as they always do, we can not fault the food and service from all of the other staff is impeccable in particular the lady with short blonde hair who is always on weekend breakfast she is fantastic with the kids and nothing is too much trouble so credit where credit is well and truly due there. Overall I can’t help but feel like brewers fayre was our special place where we take our boys one of whom is autistic and struggles to eat lots of foods, it was somewhere we could afford to come out as a family and was becoming our little tradition each weekend. I don’t think we deserved to be spoken to in such a rude manor by the manager, I appreciate it was busy but we are a family of 6 regular customers and we at the very least deserved to be treated with, and spoken to with respect. Craig if you are so miserable in your job, please find something that brings you joy because this one clearly does not.

Went for family birthday meal, had a warm welcome from the staff. The food was lovely. Great service and considering there were 24 of us. All with different meals and puddings. We always go there for our family get togethers as we love the seating at the back.

Arrived at 9:15 to be told they had stopped serving food although advertised until 22pm. Arrived for breakfast the following morning at 10:30 to be told breakfast was over. Had to be insistent to allow us to eat. Made to feel unwelcome and rushed when they did allow us to eat.

Have been going here for a while and never had any complaints Visited today and was very disappointed with one of our steaks it was very fatty also not cooked to which I asked told a member of staff who said they would exchange it but I refused as it would have meant me waiting and my wife having to eat alone very disappointed a meal ruined

Appalling service at this location. When asked about getting a taxi, the breakfast host replied that he isn’t a taxi service and I should phone a taxi. Kind of what I was trying to do… I am not from anywhere around here so for a hotel restaurant this lack of service was not expected and certainly not appreciated. I suggest that you send your staff to customer service school.

We attended the brewers fayre for a meal for my brothers birthday, all the staff were fantastic, Megan behind the bar was absolutely amazing, excellent customer service. I would highly recommend the food compliments to the chef, food was excellent. We went for breakfast & upon arrival were asked about any allergies. I have a gluten free diet so I was given the allergy fact sheet also any queries were fully answered. I was also offered gluten free toast & gluten free muesli by a fantastic waitress who was so kind & helpful. I ended up with a fantastic breakfast so thank you to all the staff who looked after us so well. We went back every day of our stay & will definitely be returning when we go back to visit family the next time.

I came for breakfast with my 2 year old daughter during the week and Craig and Nicky were on duty. Their customer service was outstanding. Nothing was too much of a bother for them. The cooked breakfast selection was great and at a good temperature despite us arriving towards the end of service. If Nicky and Craig ever wanted another job I would be happy to offer them one.
