Tesco Cafe in Halton

No butter for toast AGAIN !! Food was cold. Will order from elsewhere in the future.

Iced tea was completely empty and had spilled everywhere.

A Total Rip off from start to finish, I visited the store in Lyme Regis yesterday, Asked for some help about the "Meal Deal" and was given very pressies information about what I could choose, I made my selection as did my wife and went to the till was asked to pay over £9.00, I said that doesn't sound right two sandwiche meal deals at very confusing prices £3.90 or £3.40 with a clubcard, even I could not make it over £9.00, but I don't work for Tesco's This Club Card pricing is ripping people off, this will be the last time I shop at Tesco. We all have so much more choice now and at much better prices, Lidl and Aldi even Sainsbury's are so much better

Pretty sure I'll be going home with food poisoning, tasted like the sausage where cooked via candle flame, bacon like rubber, 2 breakfast £8.95 each =£17.90 adding mushrooms and extra toast will cost £26.75 absolutely disgraceful tesco sort it out charge for the quality of the food, should be £3.99 per breakfast,

The driver had really bad Attitude

Panini wasn’t cooked, was literally bread with cheese and was freezing . Definitely is not worth £5.10. Breakfast was also cold and missing a sausage which i paid extra for.

Food never turned up but marked as delivered to try and keep money.

Tesco of Widnes is a friendly shopping experience. Which suppliers value for money. Would definitely recommend Tescos as the number one place to Shop

I have just experienced a gobsmacking rip-off. Ordered smashed avocado on sourdough with two poached eggs extra. The sourdough was about a quarter of an inch thick, and I could see through the merest scrapings of what looked like avocado, but I suspect was guacamole out of a bottle. One tiny slice of tomato cut between two rounds. This was £3.50 plus £1.50 per poached egg. At my local greasy spoon two days ago I was served half of a fresh avocado, sliced on a massive doorstep of sourdough with cherry tomatoes all over the plate and two poached eggs. That breakfast was £6.25. By comparison, the Tesco breakfast at £6:50 is worth about £1.50 for the quantity of ingredients alone . Disgusting. Never again. Multiply this example, by millions of customers every day, and you can see where the record profits are coming from.

Tesco store & cafe in Widnes a great place to shop and the food & hot drinks in the cafe are lovely. We'll worth a visit. Free car parking too.

Not as good as St Helens, turned up for lunch and the staff were too busy to cook the full English breakfast. Had to settle for a toastie instead.

I don't bother with any other resturants now on just eat, food is gorgeous Youv'e tried the rest, now come to the best

Even to say below par would be an improvement for the food. Luke warm and very expensive.

Plates where hot, food barely warm and service slower than a hibernating sloth. Would have returned the food to the kitchen but we'd waited that long that being a Sunday it may not have arrived before store closing time. Never again.

We took our grandaughter for something to eat after shopping. I ordered her a child’s beans on toast , the beans came in a tiny ramekin and the toast was thin hard and overdone, she is only 1 and after biting into the toast she wouldn’t eat the rest , I don’t blame her, it was like it had been left to go cold then buttered. I mentioned to the older female member of staff as she was passing, she said you should have mentioned it when it was brought to you, it had probably been left in the toaster , then walked off. We wouldn’t bother coming here again , unhelpful and rude , inadequate food and portion for a child .

Food is always 10/10 from here, even when we eat in at the Cafe. Delivery wasn't long and the driver was polite. Had the Chicken Wraps, hot and tasty..

Everything arrived nicely packaged, the cakes are so good.

What arrived was great, just missing one of our drinks. Would be wonderful if the staff could read the order and check everything is there before sending it out.

Horrendous service! Ordered at 11:30 delivered at 13:39. Food was stone cold.

Ordered at 10am did not receive till 11.38 baram was freezing and coffee was warm. So disappointed as I normally order from here but today was not good.

Took ages to come, latte was horrendously bad. Breakfast barm was fine

A good choice on the all day breakfast menu. The avocado and halloumi muffin went down well but a few added touches of maybe salad type extras would have made it more appetizing and value for money. Coffee was really nice and the pot of tea gave 2 good sized cups. The actual cafe was clean and tables were cleared quickly which they would have to do as it looks like they have cut down on the amount of tables due to covid. Staff were nice though not much interaction and the service no problem.

Toast was dry, hash browns were hard, meal was not hot.

Didnt give us the extra items we ordered and paid for, portion size was tiny and not worth the money

A nice coffee shop inside Tesco, very quiet and not very expensive, they offer some good options for breakfast, the coffee and the hot cholate are very good, the staff is friendly and helpful.

Food is always fresh, still hot and packed perfect! Would give this cafe a 10/10 best breakfast in widnes! Also love the drinks as there is so many options! Highly recommend

Had a lovely breakfast at Tesco Cafe pouched egg on toast well enjoyed

Had breakfast here with my family. We all ordered the smoked salmon on a bagel with scrambled eggs on a bed of spinach. There was no seasoning on the spinach or in the eggs and there was hardly any salmon. It was bland and really needed a sauce. The staff were friendly and helpful though.

When I die and go to heaven I hope it resembles this place

The cafe is upstairs and overlooks the huge Tesco shop floor, breakfast is pre cooked and you can create your own breakfast from individual items, some breakfast items fair better than others at being kept warm The staff are very friendly and helpful and the pot of tea was very good Prices are reasonable and if you enjoy people watching over a cake and a cuppa then this may be just the place

First time in there food was great and drinks were hot lovely nice bright area
