This is the best chippy and it’s lovely there and I never had any issues with the food and stuff there especially when I bought from there

Best fish and chips in the north west by a mile Excellent first rate staff Was surprised by the size of the fish absolutely huge and the batter was top notch.

Outdoor seating. Amazing food, staff are very polite & helpful. Would definitely recommend. Terrace quite busy, but plenty of available seating & close to amenities for Widnes shoppers.

I come here to chill with a book, meet a friend or just catch up on social media. It's eco friendly with locally sourced ingredients and compostable cups. I think they should shout louder about this as it's a real selling point. There is a generous loyalty scheme on an app, shared with the Thai restaurant next door.

Had a takeaway Sunday dinner ordered and had it delivered within 30 minutes I had lamb and my partner had chicken was the best Sunday dinner I’ve had in a long time all homemade and the gravy was fantastic would highly recommend.

From what I was told I think a brother and sister took over their late Grandparents business. Sweet deal at the moment 2 fish strips pretty big peas,gravy or curry sauce £4.80 I think no idea how they make a profit even great meal great staff worth a visit.

Great community run Cafe. VERY reasonable prices along with a great pantry with goodies to buy. Great local find.

Order was delivered quickly, but we were incredibly disappointed. The chips were hard and seemed as if they had been reheated, and were physically wet. The portions were smaller than expected, and the noodle box came in a tray, rather than a box, which we found a bit odd.

I really love Greggs. I adore the sausage rolls and the other week I tried the BBQ chicken and they were scrumptious. Whenever I go on a car ride I stop to go Greggs no matter what. I really recommend it so spare some time to go. Xx

Was really looking forward to a meal out here with my misses after it had just re-opened after being closed for months. The sign outside looks so inviting, on arrival we were made to stand for 5 minutes even though we booked a table we were told there’s been a mix up which makes no sense as we booked online, then we were told that we could sit in the bar area until a table became available, this was not a good thing as now we could see all the food coming out piping hot and then it would sit under the heat lamp for 15 -20 minutes, some food longer, basically until there was literally no steam coming from the food !! Also tables kept coming available and we was not moved, anyway We just sat there totally amazing wondering how these plates just kept building up, the staff didn’t have a clue what they were doing it was like it was there 1st day on planet earth ! Bar staff extremely slow, waiters were stacking all of the old dirty plates within 6 inch from the new fresh food that had just came out the kitchen which is absolutely disgusting and something we’ve never ever seen before, People were coming over and having a chat with the bar staff leaning over the food on the bar, basically spitting all over the food as they chat away directly over the food, honestly it was absolutely disgusting! We’ve never ever seen anything like it! You also had to queue and pay for your food before you had even eaten it? This is very strange also and not good atall as I left the misses at the table on her own for about 25 mins waiting to be served ! There was zero management, no one was being told what to do, everyone was just walking round like zombies apart from the female chef who we could see was clearly getting very annoyed at the plates building up, she’ was the only one keeping the place going to be honest it reason was that bad, were just sat there both embarrassed it was so uncomfortable. Needless to say tables everywhere and were still sat on a dingy table near the bar. Everyone could see the food just sat there, eventually our mains came out as we could see them across the room Just sat there on the side under the heat lamp, We waited and waited and no food was coming, waiters were literally bringing dirty plates past the fresh food and then walking back past the food without taking it to the table?? Eventually a guy got up and went and got his own food off the bar, my girlfriend then got up walked over and grabbed our food herself and explained to the waiter that we are not waiting any longer and we do not want cold food. The waiter happily let her take the food to her own table so she basically served herself, Then what a surprise the food was absolutely stone cold, We were that annoyed and disappointed that we didn’t want to complain and wait another half hour for a stone cold burger so I just eat the meat on the burger, left the chips and bun and left immediately without even touching any starters or desserts even though it’s included in the price, We just wanted to get out of there it was so embarrassing and We’ve never experienced anything like it before, We definitely will not be returning as I can honestly say this is the worst restaurant and worst eating out Experience we have ever had, even if it was free next time we still aren’t interested! Avoid like the plague. No stars!

Absolutely amazing food and love the look of everywhere. I had the spaghetti bolognaise which was stunningly delicious. I really recommend that people go here. Xx

Overpriced. I ordered a bacon sandwich. I think they had a shortage of bacon on the day of my visit. It was mainly thickly sliced bread. Food was fresh and service ok. The venue was clean and tidy. Overall disappointing.

I ordered the scouse with chips and my mother ordered an omelette with chips. The food took 1hr 10mins to arrive. The server was apologetic about the time it had taken and gave complimentary teas. Unfortunately the chips were luke warm and the omelette was greasy. The scouse was very tasty, the only saving grace. Two customers who came in after myself were served before us. It was obvious the cook was not up to scratch. Apparently today was the owners day off. I was not the only one to complain about the poor service. Disappointed.
