Went to this cafe one Wednesday afternoon,it was about half full so managed to get a table we had drinks and our granddaughter had sausage and chips the food and drinks were good and so was the service.we would visit again.

What a lovely little gem this place is, visited with my mum. The food was lovely price was very reasonable. More importantly the staff were very attentive. I Loved how they spent time and interact with their customers.

This place was recommended by a family member who lives locally. I was delighted to see there was a low-carb breakfast option available. The eggs, bacon, mushroom and spinach was delicious. Service was prompt. Really lovely cafe - would recommend.

Another excellent takeaway afternoon tea for Mother’s Day. Sandwiches are so fresh and a lot of filling, cakes must surely be homemade, probably the best afternoon teas around. Thank you once again 😀

Friendly, outgoing staff with very happy disposition. Made to feel very welcome. Warm cosy atmosphere. Good menu choice with room for changes should you want them. Hot food is served quickly and was very tasty. Like the bonus of the books to read, look at or swap. Set back from the main high street but a must-go to if you are looking for a great breakfast at super prices.

Gorgeous staff, gorgeous food and lovely touches like books to read whilst you’re there for adults and children. Very warm and cozy. Defo a must to try.

This restaurant is lovely, quite and peaceful, and also charming. We as a family have known this restaurant for years, and the staff are kind and thoughtful. The food, is lovely, and the staff do an awful lot to accommodate the customers request when ordering any food. The staff are also very polite to anyone with hidden disabilities as well. The staff, serve you with a smile and our very patient when they take your order. The restaurant, is a quite and charming lovely place.

I ordered a jacket potato with tuna and cheese with a side of ham when we got home I had a jacket potato in foil with just tuna no ham or cheese My boyfriend had chicken cheese and chorizo toastie he said chicken was too thick and toastie was very dry

A cute little cafe in Widnes. Food is a good quality produce. You always get served with a smile and if you're lucky the young lady that serves you will treat you to a sing song. Superb service 👍

We were taken here by my Daughter for a treat. The girls who were serving were really attentive, helpful and very friendly. Lots of Tea and Coffee, the food was exceptional. Sandwiches made with good quality Bread, beautiful home made cakes and scones. I love this place whenever I'm in Widnes. The full English is a delight: crispy bacon, lovely black pudding and delicious sausage. The staff are helpful and not intrusive. Best place to eat in the area.

Went for first time today 14 April with a good friend who recommended it …. Excellent staff and great choice of food etc Nothing too much trouble and exceptionally clean. Cute interior decor. Ordered a full English breakfast each. Good quality bacon (the best part) Asked if we wanted fresh or tinned tomatoes - opted for fresh. Not sure why they bothered as one cherry tomato arrived! Small portions, great if you have a small appetite. Friendly staff but wouldn’t be in a rush back.

Our regular Friday morning stop for a wonderful, tasty and individually prepared English type breakfast. Gorgeous tasty sausages and bacon, perfectly poached eggs, crispy - but soft inside - hash browns, lovely black pudding, a small pot of baked beans, mushrooms, a half of tomato and a choice of toast types. All with great service, from very cheerful ladies, nothing is a problem. But don't be in a rush, it's not a junk - 'Fast Food' establishment - perfection takes much more time. We used to go elsewhere for a breakfast, but not anymore! Already looking forward to next Friday! Thanks very much ladies.

Wow, read about it in the Local paper. A lovely olde world feel. Take your pick of tables, and your order is taken by a very friendly, helpful young lady. Had the big breakfast - succulent big sausages, perfectly poached eggs, crunchy hash browns, yummy black pudding, mushrooms, bacon, baked beans, half a tomato and two humongous thick slices of hand cut toasted bread. Couldn't wish for a better breakfast, all cooked to order - so don't be in a rush! The owner is a bit brusk if you go to the counter, Covid safety measures prevail! Absolutely great value for money. Only one slight gripe, the coffee is a bit on the sharp side for my wife. We will definitely be going again. Thanks ladies.👍

Went here for the first time just before Christmas. Came highly recommended via some friends of ours. Must say we were pleasantly surprised with the place. Really nice friendly staff, very attentive and made us feel very welcome, nothing was too much trouble. I'm a big coffee drinker and I have to say this is the best coffee I've had anywhere locally!

I don't know where to start but it was the worst service I have experienced! We were highly optimistic when we arrived as the place was empty other than a couple who were already there. Unfortunately it went downhill from there. First of all the young, clearly inexperienced guys at the counter managed to jam the till so we were unable to pay for our order and told to take a seat. It was starting to get busy and one of they guys came over to us to take the payment. We foolishly assumed our order was already being processed from when we first arrived. 25 minutes later we had to chase our drinks. In the meantime more people were arriving and still no sign of our lunch. What was more worrying was the fact that the electrics kept going off!! We were watching food orders being delivered to tables around us to people who had arrived after us and therefore placed their orders after us. After 45 minutes we got up and requested a refund. The person in charge tried to explain why it was taking so long but said she had only just got the order! This was not good enough and it was a total cock up! As we were leaving the couple who were there when we arrived advised they were still waiting for a meal to arrive!! We left wishing them "good luck" and headed down to another eating establishment where we ordered and received our drinks and food within an acceptable 15 minutes.

Had breakfast with husband here on Sunday morning. Lovely atmosphere. Lovely staff and most of all lovely food. Everything is cooked fresh to order. Definitely recommend a visit.

Fabulous little cafe in the heart of Widnes. Called in on Sunday for breakfast with my parents and my son. Wonderfully cooked hearty breakfast with poached eggs and very tasty sausages!! Kept us full for the whole day and reasonably priced too - will definitely be returning! :-)

I've visited here a few times (So much so they know who I am) and never had a problem. Very accommodating, friendly and priced fairly. Staff know how to have a laugh and are always friendly and there's a great selection of food.

Went in for lunch. Good choice of food and drinks. Good coffee and food is cooked to order so well worth the wait. Does have meal deals and offers so worth a visit.

We've been here 3 times now. The food we've had has been sandwiches, omelettes and cake. All have been good. The scones are homemade I believe. The hot drinks get served with a little signature gingerbread man which is a lovely touch - particularly since they are so good!

The new owners really take pride in this place, the menu is extensive and well thought through. We saw others enjoying afternoon tea which looked lovely. Very reasonably priced and a cosy place to relax.

I was able to have a breakfast here that I could count the syns so could stick to my diet. The food was delicious, the owner is very friendly and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely return here.
