First time we have been here food was amazing and good value for money and had a lot of flavour the meat Thali was a good choice it was very nice never seen that before on a menu. Will be back again and also booked for Christmas Day and all the staff are very pleasant thank you very much.

This place just hits you (Outside and inside) as a small Indian restaurant that is in need of a makeover. Everything is so basic. seats tables etc. ..The food is Obviously not High End.. BUT the food IS better than food ive had at some restaurants in the likes of Manchester or Nottingham etc. It's Obviously a family business and the Boss man and staff are Very Helpful and proud of their restaurant and food. Prices are average and about right. And the food is served in a speedy manner. To sum it up .. The food really was LOVELY but it was just like going out for a curry in 1980

The food here is top notch. The food is cooked from scratch and you can tell the difference between the different curries, unlike other curry restaurants where all the dishes are the same colour. Every dish is fantastic and if you want it more spicy or less they can accommodate your tastes. The spices they use are fresh. Tho peshwari Nan is the best we have had. All the staff are very welcoming. This is a typical traditional Indian restaurant, We have come here most weeks and we will always come back. We can highly recommend it and we often do.

Highly recommend for authentic Indian food, kind and helpful staff. Delicious chicken bhuna, excellent menu with many dishes.

Went to this restaurant one Thursday evening it wasn’t very full so we managed to get a table.the food was delicious I recommend the tandoori mixed grill and the service was excellent and very friendly,the waiter who served us think his name was kamil couldn’t have been more helpful.we will definitely visit again.

The best Indian meal we have had in a while. A real underrated traditional curry house in the centre of Widnes. Food 5**** and service from the gentleman waiting was brilliant. My new favourite Indian restaurant

Went to this restaurant on New Year’s Eve,it was very busy but they managed to fit us in as we hadn’t booked a table.the food was very good and so was the service.would recommend the tandoori mixed grill and the mixed starter.we will definitely visit again.

From the outside, Bengal Spice looks rather tired and in truth, the interior is somewhat dated. And the service may be old fashioned but is great, as is the food. And great value, so we’ll definitely be returning as soon as we can. Recommended

Proper old school curry house. Fantastic food with lovely owner and staff. Onion bhajis are the best we've ever eaten in 40 years of eating out. Prawn puri delicious followed by chicken dhansak (vindaloo hot) and balti chicken tikka saag with boiled rice, chips and chapati. Fairly cheap and traditional decor. Please give this place a go 👌👍

This restaurant is consistently first class. The standard of food and service is second to none. Good quality Indian Lager on tap which compliments the curry choices perfectly.

Curry is my favourite food and this is my favourite place to eat. I have eaten at many Indian restaurants across the UK and this is the best.

Absolutely superb food and service. Have been going to this gem of a restaurant for a good few years now. Kamal and Baha make you feel so welcome. The service is always spot on and we have a lovely night every time we go. Nothing is too much trouble for the guys either. This is our go-to restaurant in Widnes for Asian food.

Been coming here for many years & love the friendly atmosphere and delicious food. It was closed over lockdown & we missed it very much. Staff are like family & the meals are always so fresh and hot. Can recommend the onion bhaji they’re the best.

Unfortunately it was 2nd time when garlic breads were burnt.Literally black in the edges and close to middle...When I phoned it -It wasn’t handled really well.Guy on the phone said that’s how nansBreads are- “well done “Unfortunately I have been working in kitchen all my life and they are not supposed to be that burnt.Shame as I really liked that place !

I made a takeaway order on New Year’s Day for the NHS staff on shift! Everyone commented on how good the curry was! *best curry ever, delicious, great value just a few of the comments from colleagues. Thanks for a great meal! Always love the free beers (drank the next day at home)

Finally found a good Indian restaurant in widnes that does good food and a warm welcome. Well done guys. You deserve the business.

My husband and I visited the restaurant th have a celebratory birthday meal. After reading the reviews that turned out to be very accurate. The meal was absolutely delicious, best curry ive ever had. Excellent value for money at under £35.00 for a two course meal for two with drinks! The only negative, and this has nothing to do with the food is the decor and entrance is very tired and needs a good revamp then it would have been perfect

We ate at this restaurant mid week there wasn’t many people in which was a surprise as the food was very good the service was the same and we will definitely go back.

Food was very nice, we had Lamb kahari and Chicken Biriyani and mixed kebabs. Very reasonably priced and friendly. Staff seemed to know most clientele which was quite unique and on first name terms which proves people keep coming back. Always a good sign! Fully recommended!

Been eating here over 20 years. Never had a bad meal. The team are always courteous and welcoming, remember your names and always enquirer after the family. My Mum had a long hospital stay and they even gave us her favourite starter to take in to her ! Love this place x

Todavía nos llamamos el Balti aunque ha sido rebautizado como el Bengal Spice. La comida aquí es absolutamente increíble, es el mejor de varias millas a la redonda. Mi favorito es Korai pollo tikka, pero sea lo que sea que elija, ¡no te decepcionará!

I always have the Lamb pathia and it is always sweet and tasty with a bit of a kick. the wife usually has the biryani or the dupiaza and we are never dissapointed. staff are really good and always sort us a taxi out to get home.

My local Indian take away. Food is always good with it cooked while you wait. Never had any complaints

Visitamos aquí una noche de sábado justo antes de Navidad. Disfrutamos de la comida muchísimo, y había un extenso menú a elegir. Bebidas y comida a un precio muy razonable y el servicio era bueno. Sin embargo, por la noche del sábado el lugar estaba casi vacío y por lo tanto le faltaba ambiente que es una lástima. Está un poco lejos del centro de la ciudad, lo cual puede explicar pero diciendo que, probablemente volvería.

I have tested them all round Widnes & only went here because I have never tried it & the spice of India car park was full down the road .bit sceptical on entry as the place was empty & after not being able to get a table a mile down the road was worrying .we were the only 2 in the restaurant at 8.30pm .ordered chicken tikka masala for wife with pilau rice & garlic naan .i asked for a recommendation on something hot like I always do in every Indian restaurant .keema rice & keema naan .wife's meal turned up looking like microwave meal from tesco .yellow & greasy .massala sauce was not nice either & lacked colour.wife ate the chicken & left the rest .my whole meal was ok but nothing special & again greasy .naan bread was also undercooked & tasteless for a keema naan .didn't think it was good value either . Bill come to £30 for what's above & 2 drinks .wont be going back .i now know why there was no one in there .

Se trata de un viejo indio auténtico restaurante del mundo con encanto auténtico. La comida es sobresaliente con sabores suble y la cantidad justa de especias.

Venga aquí irregularmente, y yo nunca me decepciona, que debe de ser consistentemente fantástica comida. Ojalá pudiera llamar en más (cada semana tal vez!) La carne fresca y suculentos y las salsas son tan sabrosa, tratando de trabajo mi camino a través del extenso menú...

Me encanta un buen curry y este es el mejor en Widnes. También una gran relación calidad-precio. Sólo uno mejor que he probado en el noroeste de Inglaterra es Palacio del Sultán en Liverpool y eso es más del doble del precio de este lugar....

asqueroso tirado era amarillo y extraño que buscan en la cata que ambos nos miramos el uno al otro y dicho bin, ya que lo que nos enfermamos
