Jon was incredibly accommodating for a large booking, a lot more so than other places I had enquired with. The Butchers did not disappoint, the staff were friendly and the food was incredible, everyone in our party said how good it was. This place is definitely worth a visit. Thank you so much!

I hired Laura to be my florist for my wedding and was overwhelmed with how beautiful the flowers that she provided for my and the bridesmaids bouquet , button holes ,and table flowers. The quality and service she gave were brilliant and would highly recommend her.

Very good takeaway coffee. On our way into the Penrith Museum we passed this coffee ‘van’. The Museum didn’t mind us taking our drinks in as we looked around. A perfect pick-me up on a wet morning!

Fantastic food, service and environment. We visited in the lull between Christmas and New Year for a family meal to celebrate a mile stone birthday. The service and food were incredible, absolutely faultless. Extra thanks for making a special not on menu dish for the fussy eater.

Checked out the menu in advance and went with a desire for the haggis brunch but sadly this wasn’t available. Had a really nice breakfast with an average coffee. Just not quite what I had hoped for. Friendly staff, got quite busy while we were there so clearly popular.

We have been before and will undoubtedly go again but there were just a couple of misses this time. The service was quite slow but in fairness we were a reasonably large table. In terms of food, the starter of black pudding and scallops was really good (though a little too sweet), the dessert souffle was flawless, but the main let it down a bit. The fish was beautifully cooked and the pickles underneath were perfect, the curry sauce wasn't great but the biggest issue was the pea fritter. No one on the table enjoyed it as it was quite greasy and lacking in flavour...a bit of a sledgehammer to a otherwise delicate and nice dish. I just want to say again, though, that this our second time here and our family have been far more and this is the only time we have had anything to complain about so will definately be going again.

This eatery is not visible from outside the Devonshire Arcade and is found near the far end of the former marketplace. A most pleasant team of staff offer a freshly prepared selection of home cooked Fayre sourced from local suppliers. My Morcambe Bay potted shrimps were served on toast with a small fresh salad and tasty dressing. My wife’s home roast ham was presented with a similar salad decoration and a portion of chunky fried potatoes that were cooked to perfection. Our lattes were just right and I could not resist the Millionaires Shortbread. A most pleasant lunch
