We visited Panshi last week with family and booked last minute. It was a weeknight so there was no problem getting a table. The atmosphere was warm, welcoming and easy going. We had to wait for a few people to arrive and were offered drinks while we waited. The food was delicious. a few of our party are vegetarian and ordered Rogan josh and biriani, whilst others had lamb pathia and chicken tikka bhuna. All of the meals were good portion size and we were able to take a doggie bag home with leftovers. The staff were attentive but not overwhelming and the cost of the meal was very pleasantly surprising. Overall it was a bargain. I will be returning regularly. Only downside I can see for some is that they have no delivery option, however I will be happy to drive and collect any takeaway in future. Also I know I have been here before over the years and the food has always been fantastic and prices good.

Seems to run at the heart of the local bicycle community. Cakes looked good and from signage may have made an appearance on hairy bikers. We opted for the full English Breakfast. My 16 year old remarked, did you order the small? So not as hearty as planned. Must say bacon was especially tasty. Most places include a drink with a full English which is not the case here. The coffee was good and well presented. Overall it is a good cafe. I would go to several other local places in preference.

Went for breakfast which was mixed - my wife had the smoked salmon which she very much enjoyed but my son and I had the full English which I have to say was disappointing primarily down to the bacon which was more like a cut of belly pork - I know some people will like this but I think most people would prefer normal bacon - by the time we’d cut off the huge amount of fat there was barely any bacon left - service was good and the place is nice but if you don’t like fat avoid the full English !!!

Amazing dinner to celebrate my Dads 70th Birthday. The food was delicious and Affy and his team provide first class customer service. They are very personable and lovely to talk too. Highly recommend coming to this restaurant for any occasion.

With access through the Old corn Mill antiques centre, the Vintage Tea Room is beautifully clean, but has a rather spartan appearance; reminiscent of a works canteen. and lacks refinement in presentation. Our bacon sandwiches were well filled with delicious, well cooked bacon; but the two slices of bread should have been destined for 'doorstep' toast. Although fresh and of a decent texture and taste, the thickness of the bread tended to detract from the filling. Whilst we were asked if we would like any cutlery or sauces, we had to request a paper napkin. Appearances do matter, and it was a little off-putting to see a man, who we presumed be the cook, simply dressed in ordinary outdoor clothes, wandering around outside with tea towel over his shoulder. The staff were friendly and helpful; the menu interesting and quite extensive for a small establishment, and we are sure that other meals would be as well cooked and tasty as was our bacon filling. A little more attention to detail would make a huge difference. Oh yes - and the coffee was good.

Spent some quality family time celebrating mum's 80 th with her siblings. Michelle our sever could not have done more. We were lucky enough to have the place to ourselves and were encouraged to laugh as loud as wanted. And stay as long as we wanted. Very grateful for the service we received.
