Just enjoyed a good meal here with my Mrs. Food was really good, all fresh and full of flavour. Great staff, really looked after us, especially Zafran, very professional.

My family and I really enjoyed our first meal at Panshi Bangla Cuisine Restaurant and wow what a fantastic experience! The cuisine was really delicious with amazing flavours, fresh ingredients and spices and a taste sensation that was absolutely perfect. My family and I enjoyed the epic flavours, absolute perfection! Thank you Affy the Manager and team for your brilliant and very efficient service throughout our meal. Thank you also to the talanted Chef's for bringing to us such fantastic, aromatic food that was a real feast for our senses and an amazing sensuous gastronomic symphony of flavours! My family and I all had a very special and memorable evening at your super comfortable and welcoming restaurant. We really liked the layout of the restaurant, the wonderful interior and atmospheric paintings. We highly recommend Panshi Bangla Cuisine!

We dicovered this little gem of a curry house by accident, but what a find! The staff are very accomodating and lovely. We all thought it was an absolutely brilliant find and we will definitely be back.

Panshi Bengal Cuisine. Town Road, Croston. Near Chorley, Preston PR26 9RB Tel; 01772 601927 Date of visit: 22 July 2024. SO GOOD I WENT THERE TWICE! Following an accident on the M6 Motorway which resulted in a 4-hour delay, I nearly didn’t get here at all! A planned get together with friends at this neat tidy, clean and comfortable restaurant was so close to being called off. I’m so glad it wasn’t! Five of us decided to visit the Panshi, A Monday evening and the place was rocking, filled with at least 40 diners, ranging in age from the (very well behaved,) young people, some of them on a “works Do” To old duffers like me! The atmosphere was brilliant. I visited the Panshi in June, when it earned 9.5 from me and it has equalled that again. The food here is top notch, which you can see being prepared for you through a large window behind the bar, the service is absolutely on point. And reasonably priced for the quantity and quality you receive. The Lamb (Gosht) Satakora is spot on, Lamb that simply melts in your mouth and perfectly spiced. I had this with an excellent mushroom rice, a perfect Peshwari naan some poppadom’s with an excellent pickle tray. My starter of course was Sheikh Kebab, again, perfectly spiced and so tasty. There was Chicken Rogan josh which went down a real treat, perfect I was told. Chicken Pathia which I am reliably informed “One of the best “and various starters all of which were first class. The staff were fabulous and could not do enough for us, even though I was over an hour late. So, to the points, it’s a big 9.5 from me. There is parking close by but there are spaces almost at the door. Price for five of us was just over £177.00 we pushed the boat out. Well worth a visit.

Spot on cuisine ,the korma is to die for, really flavoursome. Prices are fair and the service is really good. I look forward to our next visit

Panshi Bangla Cuisine. Indian Restaurant. Town Road, Croston, Lancashire. PR26 9RB Tel: 0772 601 927 Date of Visit 16th June 2024. The Panshi has been on my go to list for quite some time, however a window in my other commitments presented itself so here I am. Situated in the leafy, red brick village of Croston near Preston in Lancashire, not far from Southport, this small modern sixty or so seater, with its comfortable seating and a livery of Purple and grey a pleasant place to sit and dine. It is Father’s Day today so the place is fully booked and had I left it until a little later I would not have got a table. It opened at 1600 hrs, and they were turning people away by 1630. A large window allows you to observe what is happening in the kitchen. Service is slick and on point with well-staffed and friendly staff. It is licenced, with a well-stocked bar, the Cobra is the bottled variety, but they have Kingfisher on draft. I had been pre-warned that the food here was pretty special and to be honest I was not disappointed. From the extensive menu I ordered Popadom’s with pickle tray. Nothing exceptional here but the Pops were extremely fresh., I then opted for the Mix Karara, essentially a small mixed grill which consisted of the most delicious chicken tika which had been marinated to perfection. A well spiced Seekh Kebab, and a meat samosa, all of which were perfect. And then, the icing on the cake for me, Shaktora gosht. Melt in the mouth lamb in a madras strength sauce which is infused with the Bangladeshi citrus fruit the Shaktora which is a cross between a lemon, a lime and a Grapefruit. It is an extremely bitter fruit but when it is cooked in a perfectly spiced curry sauce, it is delicious. Accompanied by a very tasty mushroom rice and a nice sweet fresh peshwari naan. I could not fault any of it. The service the food and the place a delight to dine in. And the price: Well after the rip off at Cardamom Cream in Ramsbottom last week, it was a relief to find some honest decent people. This delight cost me a very reasonable, for the quality, £ 33. 90 Parking is a bit problematic but sorted. I’m going to give this one 9.5 /10

Best Indian restaurant! The staff are outstanding, the food is the highest standard and the restaurant has a really authentic ambience. The prices are more than reasonable too. Highly recommend.

Omg my new favourite Indian restaurant. Had the mixed starter which was such good value. The lamb was tender, the kebab was spicy and veg samosa was so tasty. Had garlic saagwalla with lemon rice and peshwari naan, could fault anything, service was spot on. Will be back.

Best Indian food around. Cannot fault the staff or the food. Highly recommended. Visited a number of times to the restaurant and the takeaway.

Had a few takeaways here and I've got to be honest this is by far the best food I've ever had, from starters to main courses absolute perfection well done to all at Panshi.

Can honestly say the food quality was some of best Indian cuisine I've ever had.usually most Indians taste the same but all the dishes tasted different ,the service was superb and didn't feel engineereed,and I think I've found a restaurant I really love.

This was myself and my wife's first visit but the others in my party, six of us in all had been there before so my expectations were high. We were greeted on entry by a friendly waiter and shown immediately to our table where drinks orders were taken. The drinks arrived soon and we then ordered our food. All the courses were served promptly and each was served by several waiters so we were all served at the same time. The food was outstanding and the service was friendly and efficient. Also for the high quality of the food the bill was very reasonable. I have eaten or had takeaways from many Indians but this beats the lot!

It was my sisters 21st and the service was incredible. Waiters cracking jokes the whole time with my whole family. The service was a 10/10 and I would completely recommend this Indian restaurant. Food was incredible and quick service. This was the best Indian restaurant I have ever had.

I ordered a takeaway at 4pm and when I went to pick it up at 430 there was pot noodle carton a Diet Coke half drunk on the table where customers sit the staff didn’t really communicate I said my name then my order came The food was very poor better than a ready meal but no where near a curry I expect from a restaurant I will not be back

Panshi’s food is great - always tasty and fresh - the staff, always busy, are friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. I’ve been going regularly for well over a year (even Christmas Day 2022) and have always been impressed with the food and the service. Great stuff.

As part of a group of friends who have been eating out together for over 25 years, Panshi was one restaurant we had never tried. We booked the table for 6 over the phone and were greeted as soon as we walked through he door by a waiter I vaguely remembered (more later). He took our drinks order, then the manager, who introduced himself later as Affy, took our food order. Poppadoms and the chutney trays arrived (usual Bangladeshi fare but very fresh) more drinks, then the main courses ... five different mains and they were very different which cannot be said for a lot of Indian restaurants. Excellent quality of food. Affy then mentioned that the first waiter remembered me from another local Indian restaurant and that's when my memory kicked in ...he had only gone and grown a beard !! Thoroughly recommend Panshi for quality of welcome, food and service - we will be going again soon.

The food here is amazing and the staff are so friendly - we have been several times with family and friends and it is always fantastic! We recently went with a large party of 17 and the food and service was absolutely faultless. Can’t recommend this place enough!

Family take away Friday night. Ordered via phone & ready spot on time. I had Tamarina, soft lamb in Tamarin sauce. Very tasty & a bit different from the norm. Keema naan & saag aloo on the side, all good. Others in the party all enjoyed their dishes & not a scrap of food left.

The food here was amazing, everything came out piping hot, in good time and the service was second to none. Especially loved the garlic Naan and the chilli cheese naan. Well worth a visit, couldn’t fault the food or service.

We 'found' Panshi last year and have been 4 or 5 times now...each time we have thoroughly enjoyed the food..the atmosphere and the banter with the friendly staff...we are starting to regard it as our local Indian restaurant. . Last Friday was no exception...all fab as on previous occasions .... .....except.... service was much faster than usual....and we gradually came to realise why...when tables were being set for a group of 20 AND a group of 10...practically taking_ over the restaurant As it turned out,the group of 10 was like a whole football team of men....and I think the 20 were also going to be part of the same group To be fair...we were not far off leaving anyway....but being politely asked to vacate our table and finish our drinks in the waiting area was a bit disappointing...especially after spending £65. Surely we are all valuable customers?

Only 4 pieces of chicken in my sizzler that was over £12 apart from that it was very good. Noticed that the portions were dwindling recently and they have missed items on takeaways regularly for us. Too late though when you have got home. They were 10 out of 10 for a long time but standards slipping.

Do not often do Reviews. But I feel this place need a mention the Food and cleaness of the place was second to none, but what impressed me the most how Lovley the Staff was. Very Kind with Mum who has some much to put up with personally. It has made a Diffrence from a NHS Key worker to our Sociial Key worker.

Busy Saturday night, large party arrived at the same time as our little 4- did not make a difference- service was brilliant, food hot and absolutely delicious. Think this has to be up there with my most favourite curry ever, and will definitely be returning....

Ordered over the phone, very polite and helpful. Within 15 minutes my food was ready to be collected. I had peshwari rice, tandoori chicken and a masala sauce. It was phenomenal! Definitely recommend!

Initially I was a little dubious as to the nature of some dishes, so we ordered a good variety, curries, vegetables, breads. All in all a superb meal for the three people, served by attentive friendly waiters, and at a very reasonable price.

Food was to an excellent standard, service was responsive, staff friendly, and COVID measures seemed to be respected. Was nice to be able to see in to the kitchen, which is quite rare in an Indian restaurant.

Second time at Panshi’s and the second time I’ve come away a very happy customer. After reading some of the excellent reviews for Panshi, I decided that we would give it a try for a birthday takeaway. The staff were very helpful when ordering our food and very friendly and welcoming when I collected our order. The food was piping hot and absolutely excellent, the chicken Karahi was superb. Everybody enjoyed it and I look forward to eating in the restaurant next time. Highly recommended!

We had an absolutely fantastic meal, regarding COVID-19 we felt completely safe from start to finish with the restaurant having more than 2m social distancing measures in place and all staff wearing face masks. I can’t recommend the restaurant, food and staff highly enough, very well done

We have been visiting Panshi since our first visit to Croston in May of 2013. Immediately impressed with the food -- traditional Bangla, with lots of individual flair, and memorable specialities. We moved here four years ago -- and since then, we've had many wonderful meals there, and made many happy memories with family and friends. But Panshi (and by that I mean, of course, the lovely gentlemen who run it) have shown their true colours during these last months -- doing delicious, welcome takeaways, and once a week, home deliveries to vulnerable Croston residents -- My husband and I miss being able to go and enjoy a meal IN Panshi, but that day will come, and until then, thank you so much for enabling us to enjoy your wonderful food. (Did I mention that the korma is the nicest I've ever tasted, anywhere? And you always gets the spices in my husband's madras JUST RIGHT!!) Thank you!

Panshi is located on the main road (Town Road) in Croston village, free parking nearby and 3 min stroll from Croston’s St Micheals Church, parts of which date back to the Norman era, worth a visit and 5 min walk from the Train Station.I was a little sceptical eating at the Panshi due to the terrible reviews during 2019 but after speaking to the new welcoming owner, I soon realised that these were down to the previous owner and transition period.But I needn’t have worried, service was attentive, prompt, excellent. They adjusted the spices to accommodate my higher spice and Chili threshold without compromising the tasty flavors. The food was just WOW !Lamb so tender I mistook it for the Chicken dish I also ordered. The Nan bread was wasn't doughy but fluffy and light. As someone who eats globally this one is up there with the best. Difficult to fault unless one is being really pedantic and unreasonable. Looking forward to returning!

Went here with a family group of seven. Service was good and they were more than happy to make thing not on the menu which was good. Mixed starter was very nice and my Mehti Gosht ( not on the menu) was very tasty. Everyone in our group enjoyed their food.

First time visiting this restaurant, would highly recommend this restaurant. We are staying on the Royal Umpire which is just a short drive away, £4 in a taxi. Fantastic service by Affy and his team. The starters and the mains that we ordered were 11/10. They all came out piping hot and tasted lovely and fresh. We will definitely return to dine in or even grab a takeaway.

Opening night of the restaurant tonight and we had an excellent banquet for two meal. It’s not surprising that many people turn up for a takeaway and numerous people did while we ate out meal. Before the lockdown we ate here often. Amazing service and delicious food. Four of us visited on Friday - we had booked on-line in advance. It was quite busy but the staff were friendly and the service was excellent. We do have another indian restaurant that we regularly go to and this was our first visit here. All our meals were delicious - tasty, flavoursome and fresh. Portion size was about right - not too big to have a curry each. I do agree with another reviewer about the wine choice but only had two individual glasses - maybe next time we'll try a bottle! We were also pleased with prices. This may now be our favourite local indian restaurant and we will definately be visiting again!

We came here Friday night for a meal! Left it last minute to book a table but they squeezed us in. Absolutely love India food and I have to say this is by far the best restaurant i been to and the best naan bread I have ever had! We will definitely be returning in the very near future!
