Finding myself unexpectedly in Weaverham, and wanting something to eat, I found the Devonshire Bakery. I was warmly welcomed, and selected a light lunch from the menu. It was delicious. I was just too late for the cooked "breakfast"; I shall try that when I am next in the village. Free parking is available in front of the venue, and nearby. All staff were friendly and helpful; highly recommended.

We came last weekend (Saturday night)-really disappointed - we ordered the steak sharing board and it came cold and the steak was really fatty. We were offered to have it warmed up! Which I didn’t want! The man also said we weren't the only one to send this back!! We then were put off having anything. We ordered desserts as the man offered free of charge and then after ordering these he told us we would have to pay for them as he wasn’t able to do free of charge which he offered! We had these and finished our wine and won’t be returning.

We ordered the Signature dish, Rogan Josh and some sides. It was so delicious, really generous portions and very good quality - especially the chicken. Staff are really nice and kitchen is very clean. Strongly recommend!

May I just say that was the best coronation chicken baguettes i have ever eaten in my whole life. Service was good and lady behind counter was pleasant and welcoming. Didn't feel like a standard bakery shop. Loads of variety and from what it appears all seemed fresh and made daily. Inside area was not that big but atmosphere was warm and inviting. Can't wait to try your other options.

A large group of friends went to the Cumin Cottage and had a wonderful evening with great food that all came to the table at the same time

Initially really impressed with the pub, looks very smart, the young lady serving at the bar doing an excellent job, my partner asked if I was hungry as I popped in to join him after a hard day at work. The young lady gave us a couple menus, as browsing the menu, another lady senior to the young lady, told her off across the pub for handing out menus, which made me feel uncomfortable and I did not order anything and gave the menu back. I felt very uncomfortable in the pub and felt sorry that the young lady was spoken to in such a way that was unprofessional. The senior staff member should have spoken to the young lady privately not in front of the whole pub that was busy. As it was my first experience in this pub and it’s a local pub for myself, this experience has put me off going to it again, which is a shame as I would of loved to have tried their menu which looks nice.

This place dumps on every other costa within a 10mile radius, I use them all & here you always get exactly what you order because the staff pay attention. I am so sick of getting a coffee that is the exactly same order that tastes completely different every single time & your lucky if its even hot. Well done Applegreens Costa, well worth the drive & the staff are always really welcoming & attentive.

Just visited The Oaklands Hotel and tried their carvery in The Amore Restaurant. We had excellent service from the manager and the staff who were on today. There was a great variety of food to try including four different types of meat, plenty of fresh cooked vegetables and sides to go along with it. We were we served plenty of meat before helping ourselves to everything else. Probably nicest carvery/Sunday dinner in the area and it won't be long before we are back there again.

We've ordered from her many times, both delivery and collection. Ever had any issues, the portion sizes have always been amazing, and food always very tasty!

We visited after the ice cream farm. Superb service, all the staff couldn’t help enough. The food was great also. Luke was top class throughout the service
