Chatwins - Cuddington in Cheshire West and Chester

I can't describe just how fantastic the food is from here, especially the roast wraps! As a construction worker I have personally ate from so many places for my lunch I couldn't even begin to hazard a guess as to how many, but this here has to be one of the best lunches I've had. I had turkey wrap with gravy. Beautiful.

If you are ever court short for breakfast I can recommend a sausage and bacon bap always sorts me out😃

Great hot breakfast rolls, I loved the hot roast pork bap. Really good food.

Swift and friendly service and excellent choice of cakes etc.

It can get a little crowded in there compared to other Chatwins, but the food is always fantastic quality and the staff are really helpful.

Lovely little bakery serving cakes, biscuits and lunch fayre. A few car park spaces in the arcade layby.

Just wanted to say thank you to the lovely staff member . I called into day and was upset by a family bereavement. I chatted to the lady and she wouldn’t allow me to pay for my food after I explained why I was upset. Your kindness was much appreciated at this difficult time. I will always remember it. Just bought some sausage rolls asked them to heat them up and I don’t want what cleaning product they use to clean the microwave but the foods tastes of it…absolutely horrid aftertaste like bleach! Went straight in the bin

Recomend pork and apple slices.. Most pies are tasty Fruit danish and cream cakes. Little pricey. Staff are very chatty and efficient.

It's rather difficult to go in and only get what you came for. Roast pork bap with onion and apple sauce comes highly recommended

Always open at our convenience. Prefer the pasties with not too much pepper. Pleanty of filling. They were lovely yesterday.

Visited yesterday to buy a regular mocha and a flat white which cost me £5.50 . Extremely disappointing as the flat white coffee cup was only half full , when I asked for it to be topped up the assistant said that is the way the flat whites comes . Very poor customer service . I have been before on several occasions but will definitely not be returning . I had finished my coffee after having four mouthfuls

We stopped due to roadworks. Wow! Unexpected bonus finding Chatwins. We had the carvery wrap. A massive Yorkshire pudding filled with either pork or turkey, with stuffing, onions, sausage, bacon and either apple or cranberry sauce. Yummy and very filling. Lovely helpful staff and biscoff Blondie for afters.

Staff professionalism seems to have gone downhill over the last year - several of the people working there now are slow, inattentive, don't anticipate demand, and worst of all last week they were slagging a previous customer off after they'd left, in front of other customers.

Can be very slow & sell out before 11.30 .

I’m a local and regularly use Chatwins after a walk with the dog - Went in to buy some sausages for both myself and the dog and was told I can’t buy sausages individually any more they have to be on a bap due to company policy which I find the most ludicrous thing I’ve ever heard especially after the week before I managed to buy them individually, funniest part of it all is that they’d have got more money out of me if I ordered what I wanted. Embarrassing!

Been using Chatwins in Cuddington whenever in that area or passing. To be honest the food & girls are all nice. But went in this morning for some cooked sausages and was told by what I presume was the manageress sorry you can't just buy sausages you have to have them as sausage Batch !! Never heard anything like it in my life. So I paid for 3 sausage batches and told the girls to keep the batches. Think the girls were as embarrassed as me.

Nice pasty’s and pastries, don’t think they quite match the price to the quality offered.

Really, really lovely food, very fresh and the cakes and pies are delicious. Only niggle is the bacon is usually overcooked and goes cold on the buns which lets it down. But, we keep going back so we'll manage. Superb bread rolls

Always good food, and friendly staff, they always seem a bit short on change since Covid, so always handy to be able to pay by card.

The carvery barms are top quality, lovely pies and sausage rolls…. Everything you’d want from a good bakery 👍

I have just been to this Chatwins during my dinner hour. When i arrived i noticed a really attractive older lady working. blonde hair pinned back wearing red lipstick. She served me my Bacon, sausage & mushroom barm with the last nutella doughnut & was lovely, friendly & chatty asking about my job being rained off & hoping her roof tiles were still on here house after storm Dudley. Chatwins never fails to deliver great food & more so smashing staff on this occasion. Will be returning not only for a sandwich next time.

I have had my bap from chatwins yesterday and today, surprisingly enough the same bap l bought for £3.50 yesterday was £4 today....

Take out coffee ( flat white) was good. The brown bap with egg and slices of tomatoe and cucumber was also good. Slightly expensive as it was a take out. I would go there again.

Lovely food but really expensive

Went there not long ago to see them preparing my order with the same bread that I had been watching flies on for 5 minutes straight. Another time I went, i Had a bacon and cheese sandwich which was so poor for the price, the bacon was just thrown on and falling out the sandwich before i even opened it, i could have done a far better job myself

Regularly go there when going to the park with my daughter. Lovely range of food that suits any time of day - they do the best Viennese biscuits I've ever tasted! Gingerbread men are good too, soft and gooey, not hard like certain other well known bakers.

No alternatives for non-dairy customers in this day and age.

Lovely bread, great sandwiches, usual ladies lovely however yesterday I gave up in the queue and went home. It was painful to watch a member of staff make one bacon sandwich at a time slower than a snails pace. Possibly someone could train some of the members of staff so they can make more than 1 sandwich at a time? As I drove off 2 other people on the queue also gave up and left.

Good this time - sometimes have been a bit 'hit and miss' with availability of common sandwich fillings (egg mayo in particular) in the past, which is annoying when you've queued outside for 10+ minutes....!

Great food but they can’t get a sandwich order right. Drove 30 minutes, Ordered 2 sandwich, got back and there’s no bacon on one of them. 3 times I repeated the order. Write it down

Ive been buying quality fresh food here all through lockdown, I'm always met and greeted with a happy smile and lovely staff. Who have worked hard under pressure. Keep up the hard work ladies.

Really good hot filled sandwiches. Only downside is all the locals know this and lunchtime queues can be long. Go early to miss the queue

Nice sandwiches here. Good service. Hard to find parking for a van here. Products are pricy.

Three members off staff on - only one actaully serving. One is bagging up i have no idea what, but bearing in mind people are queing out the door the organisation s really poor.
