Once again - great food, great service & lovely atmosphere. Perhaps the Humus could have been less runny - personal preference.

We enjoy a visit to Romazzino and have previously commented that whilst the food has been excellent the service has been a bit hit and miss……not this time, both were fabulous. Our food was excellent, spaghetti carbonara with chicken and fillet steak, the carbonara was delicious, the steak delectable. The service was fantastic, our waitress (lovely young lady with blond hair, our booking was 6.15pm, 2/3) was fabulous, the food excellent as was the ambiance, lots of birthday celebrations as well as groups and couples having just the best evening. Highly recommended.

Great choice of craft ales and a very pleasant atmosphere in comfortable surroundings

I visited with 3 friends on Monday 19th December for a fabulously fresh festive afternoon tea and a wonderful time. We were warmly greeted into the tea lounge, which was packed to the rafters with a large party and many other tables were taken too. There was a warm and cosy festive feel, with christmas music adding to the great atmosphere. Although the lovely staff were kept very busy, they were happy, smiling and nothing was too much trouble and we were soon seated with a festive drink in hand, which is a lovely idea and makes The Nantwich Tea Lounge afternoon tea stand out from the rest. When our bulging stands of festive goodies arrived at the table, it was very clear that everything was freshly made, with an assortment of sandwiches, which included turkey & cranberry, roast beef & horseradish and cheese & pickle, with a tasty mini sausage roll. Then we started on the layer of beautifully home baked scones with clotted cream & strawberry jam. After that we moved onto our delicately made cakes, which are lovingly created in house, (unlike in other places, where they come straight from the packet) which included a decadent chocolate truffle, a mini mince pie with a soft sponge top, a homemade glass of sherry trifle - which was simply divine. But we were defeated by the gorgeous white chocolate & orange cup cakes and had to box them up to take home. The photo I have posted shows a stand shared between 2. There was loads of goodies and it was all delicious! Without doubt this was an extra special luxurious, delicious afternoon which I would highly recommend and repeat any day of the week. Thank you to the staff, who were so friendly and helpful. If you haven't visited yet, make sure you do!

Mussels were gritty and only 2 prawns in the seafood pasta. We actually complained but no real result

Good atmosphere pleasant bar staff and really a little jewel in the centre of nantwich. Always worth a visit to sample craft beer and a great little music venue to boot.

Last evening I asked for any gluten free drinks as I am coeliac 2 managers had no idea what was gluten containing drinks Not one member of staff had any idea and I was told I could drink any wine or spirit which is not the case Very rude and dismissive in front of other customers, unprofessional and ignorant

Absolutely beautiful food and drinks are reasonably priced which makes a really nice change from most restaurants. Very retro 80s style restaurant which just adds to the experience. Loved it and will be back. So glad we found it. Thank you Cheryl Dean and family

Lucky find! We were looking for somewhere for a light meal and this was perfect. The menu is varied and straightforward, and although described as light bites, the meals were tasty and more filling than a light bite would suggest. We had cheese and onion pie with chips and peas and a steak sandwich with chips and coleslaw, followed by roulade with cream and a brownie with ice cream, all very good. Service was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. We don’t live in the area, but would seek this place out again if we are.

Lovely historic shop on the square. I grew up in Nantwich and remember when it was Frank Coopers hardware shop. Pleased it still has a successful business on the premises. Good menu and prices, attentive staff. It is really a cafe more than a bookshop though.
