The best restaurants in Macclesfield Central Cheshire East North West

Wood Fore Smoke is my favourite place to get a pizza, and the dough balls are to die for! We celebrated my birthday at the Macclesfield branch recently and our waitress, Emily, was absolutely amazing. She was so kind & friendly, so helpful and made me feel so special whilst celebrating my birthday. The food is incredible, but the service I’ve always received at Wood Fire Smoke is second to none, and Emily is a real credit to the team ☺️

By far the best breakfast/sandwich shop in Macclesfield. The food is 10/10, good sized portions and very reasonably priced compared to some of the other places in town. To top it off the staff are lovely and welcoming.

Lovely restaurant. The only downside was that the Mac and cheese was made with vegan cheese, this is not noted on the menu as vegan because there is mussels in the dish however I thought it was strange to not note it was made with vegan cheese and yet title the dish Mac and Cheese! felt a little deceived as it tasted quite different to what I thought I was going to get :/

Always a great place to meet up with friends for coffee and delicious choice of fresh bakes. Everyone is so friendly and make you feel so welcome.

5 star food and service. Every course was a treat for the taste buds that we didn’t want to end! We have visited here many times and can always expect an excellent experience. We highly recommend and look forward to our next visit.

A lovely, quirky cafe with the best coffee in Macclesfield! I had to realistically knock one star off for food, as the menu is pretty small - but that's fine by me, as I always have the Vegan BLT which is delicious! It's got a great bohemian atmosphere with one of the only mixtracks of (quiet) background music that I actually like to listen to! Very comfortable with some terrific artwork on the walls! The cafe staff are always polite and friendly!

My partner and I celebrated Valentine’s Day at this fantastic Lebanese restaurant, and it was an experience to remember. The place was beautifully decorated with balloons, hearts, and gorgeous flowers, with the soft glow of candlelight creating a truly festive atmosphere. The food was absolutely incredible. We ordered the mixed platter, and it was the best decision. Every dish was bursting with flavor, from the delicious selection of starters to the perfectly cooked main courses. Everything was served with warm, fresh bread and homemade sauces that complemented the meal perfectly, making every bite simply unforgettable. The staff was exceptional—attentive, kind, and always ready to assist, ensuring that our evening was flawless. This restaurant is a must-visit for anyone who loves great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-tier service. I’m already looking forward to my next visit.

Great food but disappointing service. Being asked “are you in a rush?” when following up on my food order. The food itself is great, but teach your staff to be kind.

The best cafe in Macclesfield, Zav, the owner, is lovely, very friendly and helpful, he makes all the food fresh every day. The mezze platter is very tasty with a good selection of authentic turkish flavours. There is also a daily special plus sandwiches, wraps, breakfast, English and Turkish at reasonable prices

Waiting 45 mins food wasn’t nice we didn’t finish the pasta was so dry my boyfriend ordered the pasta alfredo inside the pasta have a slice of red chilli 😅 we got back home we got tummy ache :(
