An incredible meal with the family last night (we had the buffet for 4). The food was sensational and the service was 5* - would definitely recommend.

Disappointing overall. Food was bland and reminiscent of menu of early Chinese restaurants in the UK, forty years ago. Does not match modern expectations, flavour and quality. Portion sizes were generous and hence fair value, but we struggled to work through the set menu for four, with much going to waste, never a great sign. Would not return nor recommend

Our favourite by far. Food is stunning and the service is always very friendly and helpful. Consistently spot on.

It was great. The food was brilliant especially the duck pancakes. The portions were so generous I was beat at the end. Thoroughly recommend it and the fruit to finish was excellent

Visited here several times ,always been happy with the food and service .But on our last visit, the service was slow part of our meal we didn't get despite several requests. Food was average considering the price .

Feeling peckish on the way home from a dog walk with a friend and thought I'd give the all you can eat Sunday banquet a try. No reservation and despite only being open for 15 minutes, seating downstairs was fully occupied. Very good food as always and as I was ravenous, £20 seemed fair. There was an issue with the card machine, which can happen, however the restaurant manager became a little tetchy, slapping my card against the machine as if it was to blame. It took 5 messages stating 'no signal' and an attempt using somebody else's card before the penny dropped. I paid them directly from home.

Great food and wonderful service from a friendly team at Jin's. Jins have a vegan menu which was interesting and appetising. I ordered the salt and pepper tofu to start followed by a vegan Chinese curry with boiled rice. Plus a chilled Chinese beer! The food was excellent - highly recommended.

Absolutely fabulous food and incredibly good, friendly service. First visit and definitely not the last.

This was my first visit to Jins and it certainly won't be my last! A large group of us went along for my birthday to the all you can eat buffet on a Sunday. Great price, amazing food and fantastic service!!

Mediocre and overpriced Chinese food. The quality of the food at Jins used to justify its rating as the premier Chinese restaurant in Macclesfield. However, in the past year, the quality has dropped to that of an average take-away, with greasy and bland dishes covered in thick sickly-sweet sauces. The prices are VERY high and on par with the best Chinese restaurants in Manchester such as Tai Wu, which serve far superior food. I will not be returning.

First time we had the set menu. Stuffed to the brim. Everything was cooked great. Some things wasn't to our liking. But that's nothing to do with the cooking. We enjoy the meal and drinks. Staff very friendly happy to help. Drinks kept coming as did the service. Fab place.

What on earth has happened to this restaurant? We ordered a take away for 2 and the cost was £70 - but happy to pay the price for a good meal (2 steamed dim sum starters, 2 main courses, 2 sides and 2 curry sauce). It was absolutely dreadful tasteless food. I haven't experienced this before with the restaurant so perhaps something has changed - but certainly the quality does not match the price point. The steamed dumplings tasted of offal - revolting; the curry sauce was absolutely tasteless - just thickened - yuk. The salt and pepper chicken was wet and soggy, and had hardly any of the onions and chilli that really makes this meal. The Foo Yung had hardly any egg.....I could go on. I'm completely baffled, I just pushed £70 down the drain along with a load of food that just couldn't be eaten. We are left with empty pockets and empty stomachs!!

Advertised open until 11 pm. After a significant drive and arriving at 1025 pm for a takeaway, I was told the kitchen closed at 1030 even though it was 1025 and advertised open until 11pm. Once again a business not interested in the customer, they have no customer value at all. No apology just trying to lie about closing time. If you advertise your open until 11 Pm then do so unless you have a power outage for example that is out of your control.

The take out food is vastly different from the sit in restaurant food. Tasteless take out tonight, dry as a bone lamb pancakes, not dissimilar to pork scratchings! Very disappointed.

We were part of of family party for a birthday and very much enjoyed the all tiu can eat buffet. Food was very fresh. Nice atmosphere. Good value at £19.90 per head.

What a gem of a Chinese restaurant! Ranks among my top 3 ever Chinese (and I've been to a lot in my 46 years, given it's my favourite cuisine) - it might even be my favourite Chinese restaurant, but it has some strong competition to contend with so that's a tough decision. We had duck with pancakes to start. This was delicious with yummy, yummy hoi sin, my only gripe was they didn't tear up the duck at the table, which adds a bit to the dining experience. Mains we had crispy shredded beef with chilli and lemon chicken. Both were delicious. The service was attentive and friendly but not intrusive, and we bumped into someone we know, who eats there every month without fail. If that's not putting your money where your mouth is (literally lol) then I don't know what is. Highly recommended.

Got there at 12:30pm for opening, buffet style food. It was delicious, everything that was supposed to be hot was, the food was the best I have tasted in a very long time. Crisp and fresh. The starters were fantastic, the mains where very good and the cheese cake was to die for, pardon the expression. My first time at Jim's in a long time but will now be booking for next month. Came for Sunday buffet as we have many times before for a family treat... Lovely food as always and pleasant staff/atmosphere. However, we have just paid £19.50 each for 2 children who only ate 2 duck pancakes and a handful of flying saucer sweets. In the past we've been charged a childs price, but no flexibility today, only the insistence it's based on height. Which considering the differences in children/ages/heights/appetites doesnt feel a fair pricing structure. Unsure why there was no discretion used today as there has been in the past. Unfortunately we wont be back with the kids which is a shame as it was a family favourite. We just cant justify the price.

This restaurant is excellent & always busy. We ordered a takeaway one Saturday night and understandably we had quite a wait but cannot mark them down for that. When the food arrived, it was hot, delicious, free prawn crackers and the driver was polite & friendly. Just need to order earlier & wait, but worth it. Cantonese fillet steak 😋

We’ve just had the most amazing meal this evening. Everything was brilliant - from the welcome, to the service, the staff, the quality of food and just the overall warmth of the place. They couldn’t do enough for you! We went for Banquet A and at £27 pp, it is an absolute steal. We live in Manchester and we just wish there was a place like this in the city centre. Will definitely be back and thanks again for a stunning evening.

Placed order around 5:30/ said would be around 90 minutes. 2 hours still waiting. Called 14 times. No answer. Sent messages no answer will no use EVER again.

Food was great but I ordered at 7pm for 8:15pm at 9pm drive to restaurant to ask where food was to be told already gone, drove home and waited another 15 mins till food came. Was given 2 complimentary beers but still an hour late....

Look no further you have just found the best Chinese restaurant in the Macclesfield area. Service is always friendly and speedy. Portion sizes are good especially the king prawn dishes. Ensure that you book ahead as they are always full on Friday night and at the weekend. Masks are worn by the staff and contactless payment is preferred. Take away is available, as is delivery within the area (including Bollington) for a small charge.

Fantastic meal that we both enjoyed. Food was perfect portion size. Kept hot for 25 minute drive home. I had the scallop & king prawn with veg & boiled rice with perfect veggie spring rolls. Partner had crispy lamb pancakes and sweet n sour pork. Beautiful. No bloating after effects and not oily like other takeaways.

Easily the best Chinese takeout around. Incredible for vegan options, without sacrificing taste whatsoever. Everything I've eaten from here has been unbeatable — I'd get them every week if I could!! I have recently moved to Macclesfield and can honestly say I have never had such delicious Chinese before in my life. The food is incredible, and the service next to none. We have been 3 times in the short time we have lived here and will be back many more. Do not hesitate, you won’t regret it!

Firstly there was a long wait book early they’re popular for a reason.The spring rolls were crispy not greasy and the filling was amazing. As were the won ton, crispy and delicious.The monkfish was cooked to perfection and the portions were excellent. I will always use this takeaway from now on.

Lovely meal as always, we had a banquet set menu which was very good value with the Eat In scheme. The selection of appetisers was particularly impressive. Their Covid safe arrangements were very careful, with a one way system, lots of space between tables, sanitiser on every table, & even a hands free door opener! It felt very safe without being clinical.

Doesn't look much from the outside but the standard of the food belies that. Tasty meal enjoyed by my wife, mother in law and myself. Plenty of choice including a vegetarian section on the menu. Friendly service and well sorted for covid-19 procedures.The house sauvignon blanc was very average though. For a couple of pounds more you can get something from the wine list which may be worth a try.Will certainly be going back again.

Just found this on our way back from stoke, this was a all round great meal. Everything was epic. Highly recommended it. We had the banquet b which was 28 each and there was plenty food for two.
