Nice staff very helpful, had a bacon baguette, bacon was very fatty, spoiled was was otherwise a decent sausage and bacon baguette.

Fantastic Birthday cake made for us, was the best cake I've ever bought by far, thanks a lot..

Had a couple of afternoon drinks here yesterday then returned for dinner at night lovely clean pub good food and friendly and attentive staff. Was allowed to use pub carpark while staying in the b&b next door. Would definitely return.

We drive up and down the M6 regularly and it's well worth the 10 minute each way diversion. Absolutely excellent. 👍👍

Excellent full English breakfast. Nothing negative to say except more toast please. Friendly staff. Good coffee. Nice location.

My wife Marjorie and I usually like a lunch in Carlisle when we are up although I don't eat much now as it plays havoc with my bowels if I overeat at lunchtime. Anyway I like to totter off for a coffee while Marjorie comes here for a big saucy baguette, which does surprise me as she is gluten intolerant, but she always comes back with a big smile on her face. 5 stars.

Don't be fooled by the expensive price. It's all typical cheap takeaway food, but double the price. My steak burger definitely wasn't a steak burger. Complained about food arriving just about cold. Was only offered a partial refund. Would not recommend at all.

Didn't get what I ordered.even tho I double checked at counter.i suspect the delivery driver in waiting got my item and I got his.i heard this going wrong but was assured it hadn't.. guess what..it had...overall the curry sauce was 95% perfect however the meat (chicken) was massively over salty and inedible even in sauce...the rice was fine and the (wrong) nan bread was fine.overall I think I'd rather try elsewhere...seemed to be too casual behind the counter.

We've ordered takeaway from here a few times and it's always been phenomenal! The chicken and chorizo pasta is a firm favourite. The delivery time was accurate if a bit long but can't complain for fresh, hot food. Having never been in to eat I can't comment on the atmosphere but I'm sure it's just as good. Will definitely eat again

Lovely customer service, however the food was not worth the price. Oversized portions, the chips were oily and so was the fish. Me and my friend squeezed the chips and fish and a bucket tonne of oil and fat just came out. There was barely any flavour. Don't recommend.

Sadly my experience was influenced by my poor choice of meal from the menu. There was nothing wrong with it, it simply wasn’t for me. The attention from the staff was faultless, but I can’t really rate the atmosphere, it was almost empty. Before placing my order I was asked about any food allergies that I might have, which I found to be highly responsible, and a plus point

Visited on a Saturday evening with friends. We all enjoyed the enchiladas. Piping hot, well presented and tasted amazing. Service was friendly and with a smile. I’ve not eaten here before but I’ll definitely be coming again and telling everyone how lovely it was.

Told it was 22:40 over phone and cost 24 60 worked it out it cost 12 pound twenty pence for veg spring rolls and salt n pepper chips. Have supported new city but not any more.
