EXCELLENT SUNDAY ROAST,WELL LOOKED AFTER BY CHARLIE,CONSIDERING HE IS AN EVERTON FAN HE WAS VERY CHEERFUL AND HELPED, A CREDIT TO THIS ESTABLISHMENT,WELL DONE.

Bit disappointed with recent visit. Have been a number of times, just for a light lunch and a couple of pints. Four retired guys. In the past there has been an excellent choice on a "Light Lunch" menu, £8 to £10 per head. That choice has now gone ? So our lunch has gone up from £15 per head to £25 per head, when beer included. The food was nice, but the portion size has reduced. Will think again next time ! Sorry.

Very disappointed with the food we received today ordered 6 meals for my family x4 chicken ensalada suiza chicken dry tough and hard hardly any sauce and portion size ridiculous. Pork burrito had no taste. I have eaten here in the past and the food was lovely so I don't know what's happened. We did state our concerns to 2 staff members but they did not seem to care. As we were leaving the restaurant all members of staff took off into the kitchen. We were not offered a refund or apology therfore will definitely not be returning £102 it cost too 😡

Staff were amazing and food was perfect ,Would definitely recommend, Quick,helpful and pleasant table service, Will be returning soon!

19th hole is our new favourite place to eat since it opened. Food is always delicious and hot, staff are always so helpful and nothing is ever a issue. Would definitely recommend for couples, families and friends.

I was waiting to pay on this day and can't believe this guy was questioning about a 70p upgrade for chips during the government 50% off food and drink words do not expressi i cant believe it !!! get a life !!! Night was brilliant food , service and ambiance were top class even though it was very busy dont usually comment on things like this but this is a must !!! Thank you stoney holme for a great night xx

We were here today. Party of 9 including 2 children. Staff were lovely and friendly. Food was amazing, so much of it too. Very much enjoyed our visit and will definitely be back.

Had never been here before but took up the eat out to help out scheme.The staff were really helpful and friendly.We had steak pie & homemade chips and tarragon chicken.We don’t normally have a dessert but decided to have sticky toffee pudding and pavlova.Everything we had was excellent.Even without the money off it is very reasonably priced.I think it was owner who was also working really hard with the staff which was good to see.We will definitely go back

Visited for lunch with my family, must say the staff were excellent and the food was top notch, (also prices were very reasonable) can’t praise the staff highly enough.

The food here was amazing. It was the best food I've eaten in a restaurant in a long time. It isn't too expensive either. The staff were great too.

Lovely homemade food, great atmosphere and outstanding service would definetly recommend and go again

I visited last night with my running "bubble" after doing our Monday 5k. The welcome was warm, service was really friendly and instead of having a couple of rubbish options for gluten free (the all too often normal for me in other restaurants) I had a huge range to choose from including a sticky toffee pudding!! I can't tell you how excited I was about that! The food was great and even before the Eat Out discount the price was really reasonable. One of my friends has another dietary requirement and didn't have a problem finding something suitable. Our special diet menus were given to us as soon as we arrived with no need to feel awkward or that we were being difficult. I can't tell you what a difference that makes. The other 4 people eating with us had loads of choice and really enjoyed the food and service too. So much so - we've booked again in 2 weeks time. We might need to run 10k this time though - to compensate for the lovely food we'll be having afterwards! Hand sanitiser was available going into and leaving the restaurant.

Visited saturday 18th july. First visit since lockdown. I opted for the steak pie which is excellent. You have a choice of mash or home made chips and veg. It was so good, i visited again the next day (sunday) for one of the best sunday lunches in the city. All the food is good but i do like the traditonal roast beef and yorkshire pudding. The safety measures in place are very well done and i would recomend a visit.

My husband and I have just had a lovely lunch today at The 19th Hole. The venue is large enough for tables to be well spaced apart, and the decor is nice and contemporary. The service was safe, with plenty of sanitiser stations available, friendly, quick and efficient. And the food was very good, large portions and piping hot. I am a steak pie fan so I choose this and it was one of the best I have had in a while, a proper slab of pie, light crispy pastry and loads of meat, proper home made chips, veggies and a jug of gravy. Husband had chilli con carne, half chips, half rice, also good portion and very tasty. We will most definitely be coming again with friends.

Excellent sunday lunch. Really nice staff. Good choice of food. Reasonable prices. Clean,very well run restaurant. Service quick and very professional.

My Husband and I went for a bar meal here on Saturday 25th, couldn’t fault it and very good gluten free menu, staff were lovely . We will certainly visit again

We had lunch on Friday it’s was one of the best fish pies ever the meatball were very good good portions staff was so helpful couldn’t do enough for us we will definitely be back

Visit on a fairly regular basis....food is ALWAYS amazing, perfectly cooked, staff are amazing too. Empty plates as usual. Highly recommended this place......❤️🍷

Went with family and looked very busy but perhaps too busy for staff on duty. Food was overcooked eg steaks tough and fish cakes well done. Need more staff to get food out quicker. Good location which offers lots of opportunity.

Myself, my son and daughter visited today (Tuesday 22 Oct). On Tuesdays and Thursdays they do a two course special which is £10. Great value, lovely pub food and very pleasant staff. We will definitely be back.

Visited early evening party of 4. Very impressed firstly by beautiful surroundings so sat outside briefly to enjoy. Once inside staff were extremely attentive and although a larger party were being catered for we were made to feel equally important. Service could not be faulted....
