The best restaurants in Daneshouse with Stoneyholme Burnley North West

This lovely little place is a hidden gem in Burnley. The chef's and his team make the most outstanding food, I highly recommend the Latin Lime Chicken served on a bed of new potatoes, and the tomato & garlic flat bread, It is now on the summer menu and has some stunning dishes, I also recommed the cannarian potatoes, & the meatballs in tomato sauce, my husband loves the pizza's and he has tried them all. The front of house is outstanding David & his team and warm & welcoming, hard working, your made to feel like a old family friend than a customer, the respect they have for each other as well as the customers, it very rare to see. We highly recommend you pre-book your self a table as they have regular tables booked in advance it is so busy. There is outside seating where you can watch the world go buy as you enjoy a cocktail/beer or a glass of wine and a nibble or two on the olives. The age range is mixed and fun. I highly recommend you nip in for a drink or two & a bite or two of the menu.

We stumbled upon this place in a rush before going to a gig at The Mechanics, what an wonderful surprise when we went inside. Beautiful decor and the staff were so attentive. We both ordered the Sunday roast beef which was the most beautiful roast dinner we have ever had! Such a shame we had to rush it as we were late for the gig. We will definitely travel back from Yorkshire to come back.

I've been in here a lot and the staff have never been rude in fact they r a vv friendly bunch... can't do enough for you🙂 showing photos after the refurb nice& ♥️ the choc orange muffs yum😀 just tried hazelnut cake warmed with cream omg soooo good👍try the orange cake v nice but just tried a Bakewell not so nice☹️pricey?????value for money and if u join the coffee club u download the app and u will get beans each time u use the app then get a free coffee I can name a coffee shop that is not value at all

Not sure if this place sells food, but, the ale is nice and cheap,very busy, and a great atmosphere,will be going in again

Went for a bite to eat and coffee. I picked black pudding topper and Mrs had tuna melt toastie. The toastie came out and I had to wait another 20 mins for my food , as they didn't have any eggs, as they had to run and buy some. They did say they would give us more food so we could eat at same time , but never did. My food eventually came , it wasn't constructed at all, everything was separate. The poached eggs were RAW ! So asked for them to be cooked .. they took the eggs away and came back a few mins later not looking much better. The hollandaise sauce had curdled! (That was in a jar) And the bacon ,and black pudding were hard and just about warm, so they had been sitting on the hotplate while they ran around trying to get eggs .. Told the owner about the state of the food. He was very apologetic, but didn't offer a refund. He at first said we could have free drinks, but didn't want any. And he then said come again and have a free meal, he then said I will give you some vouchers . But the vouchers never appeared, and he came back outside again when I had finished and never gave us any. We ended up leaving , disappointed. And won't be going back.

Brilliant place and great atmosphere. Food is amazing and they really look after you, recommending different drinks to try etc.

The food here is amazing, really tasty. We came here last night. My husband and I had the spaghetti bolognese and the kids had pizza from the bambino menu. Then for desserts we had profiteroles and the amaretto cheesecake. I cannot rate it highly enough for quality and value for money. We have eaten here four or five times now and have never been disappointed. Would come here every night if I could. I don't write reviews very often - well hardly ever; but if you want excellent food at a very reasonable price you should try this one.

This a fantastic restaurant. The quality of the food is exceptional authentic. Aldo the owner/ chef was chatty and welcoming, and we were looked after by lovely shyanne. What a smile! Thank you both.

Excellent service, great venue. Music was a bit loud but was turned down a bit when asked which was great. Will definitely be back.....want to try the Aspen fries next time as they were unavailable. I would recommend a visit here.

A really enjoyable afternoon celebrating our Birthdays (mine and the Mrs) with family. The service was great, the food was a delight and the atmosphere and ambience was really good. Thank you to all the team for a warm welcome and a great afternoon.

This place deserves an award, their food is so good! Forever wishing they had a place in Blackburn! Their Sliced chicken noodles, spicy is incredible. Super filling and generous portions!

I asked for a red donner meat kebab and got about 6 pieces of red meat rest was plain donner and was charged for full price also the Naan was like dough

Went for a walk in Burnley and found myself at The Swan. It's nothing fancy, but it doesn't want or need to be. Pool table, darts, juke box, and plenty of beers. In addition, the locals and staff were very welcoming. I spent some time talking to Speedy (got his name nickname because he can drive anything) and he had a lot to say about the history of Burnley... and himself. The owner was behind the bar and had a pleasant time with him, as well. It's a great place to go and get to know the people of Burnley, Lancashire and have an affordable tasty pint. If you're lucky, you may even meet a guy named "Speedy"
