All too often, people only voice negative reviews and let a good experience go unnoticed. With the constant increase in lunch places in Burnley, it feels we need to voice support for local independent businesses. It was my first time trying this place - formerly “quick crepes” and now “central kitchen” - and I will definitely be back. I was greeted by the owner who is a really lovely man and was incredibly attentive, but got the balance just right. (Most places have a habit of asking how the food is when you’ve just taken a mouthful, but not here!) It had a relaxed, friendly and comfortable atmosphere, it was very clean and the tables are all nicely spaced. I ordered a tea and a crepe (bacon, spinach and mushroom) it was served quickly, delicious and the portion was massive! There are all kinds of things on the menu, I saw some burgers come out and they looked very good. But for those just wanting a drink they had loads of options, hot, cold, milkshakes, smoothies and alcohol. If you haven’t already, give it a try. I’m already thinking about my next visit!

Great food and really friendly staff. Often see a staff member at my place of work and it’s good to have a chat to her. Too often reviews are t left for a good experience.

We were greated with a warm welcome, The staff were very friendly and fast with our order BUT overall a great place to go for food and drinks.

This is the last time I give this place another chance? Talk about hit and miss. I called in for breakfast and a coffee, really pleasant guy tall bold head served me really nice and pleasant, he served me a nice cappuccino at the table lovely and hot. There was a girl cooking the breakfast with two other girls stood around her having a conversation about tattoos and where to go? While the young man was obviously busy on his own! Breakfast arrived luke warm but the beans was nuked ! By the time I asked for my toast and arrived my breakfast was virtually cold I ate half and left? The worst thing was once outside my clothes smelling of cooking ? Not nice. Shame really the 1st time I came here everything was great there was an older gentleman seems to control everything going on he was great.

Visited this morning for breakfast, when my breakfast arrived the sausages was pale and slimy - in my eyes undercooked. So I said these sausages aren’t cooked in which I got a reply of “well they are because we probe them”. The girl took my breakfast away and I watched and heard her talking about me and laughing. Which made me feel embarrassed and uncomfortable to the point I was in tears. The manager said she would get the girl to apologise and she wouldn’t. So we left and won’t be returning. Very poorly run cafe by arrogant and ignorant staff

Really good experience at quick crepes, my child knocked over a drink over my partners dinner and the staff rushed to the rescue to help replacing my partners food in a quick second. Good food great service.

Well after the last time wasn’t brilliant I thought I would try again. And yes my breakfast was great nice and hot tastes great with no complaints, not too busy for a Tuesday, coffee is 10/10. Keep up the good work.

This place is brilliant for service and the quality of food and drinks is way beyond anything else in town centre. All the staff are amazing, particularly the dark haired girl ❤️ who goes above and beyond and is an advocate for charities. Highly recommended place. A go to if in Burnley town centre.

The service was really bad ended up walking out I only wanted coffee and travels got my coffee but kept waiting for teacake while she saved other people who she knew this happens every time she is in supposed to be in charge that's a laugh she just doesn't care I have seen her reading reviews in the middle of the restaurant and laughing at the bad reviews you need to change your staff

Absolutely amazing! Words can not describe how amazing this place is. Me and my partner came here over the weekend with my newborn whilst visiting my family. The staff were very friendly and welcoming! I have anxiety and felt very at home and comfortable. We sat in a booth where we could take the pram and have him by our sides, the place is beautiful inside and out the decoration is gorgeous. Definitely one for the instagram photos. We ordered breakfasts and luxury hot chocolates, they were beautifully presented and very generous portions for the price. The food was delicious! Totally worth the visit, we would come up from Southport every weekend just to come here, would definitely recommend!

Had a very pleasant visit with the family for breakfast. The food was excellent and the staff were very friendly with great service. One of the staff, I think her name was Julie, made us feel vey welcome and she informed us that it was her daughter who had served us at the till, another friendly smiling face. We will definetly return.

Amazing place in Burnley, myself and my wife come first came here around 4 months ago, and now we come almost every weekend for lunch after church. The staff and the food are amazing and the overall atmosphere is something we look forward to after a long hard week. Not only that, but on the rarest of occasions an order may be wrong, there have been no issues and the staff were more than happy to remake for us. Genuinely a wonderful place and we look forward to it ever weekend.

Been to eat here on numerous occasions and have never had a reason to complain. Staff always friendly and food always very good. Yes sometimes there may be a little wait but you get that in any busy cafe. The crepes are the most delicious I’ve had anywhere. Usually have a latte to drink and it’s always served hot. Sandwiches are always full with the ingredients and the coleslaw is very tasty.

Superb lunch. Well stocked savoury and sweet crepes with plenty of delicious filling and huge range of choice for fillings too. Very friendly service and nice seating areas both outside and inside. Would definitely come back.

We ordered the Mediterranean veg crepe and the spicy one came out, they swapped it but the med veg was supposed to be with goats cheese but was mozzarella. The mushroom, bacon crepe was supposed to come with cheese but didn't have any. And the coffees were asked for with sugar free salted caramel but they forgot to add this untill we mentioned it after tasting them, they weren't as hot as they should be either, but after mentioning so many things already there was no point. It seemed very overstaffed in my opinion, almost as if too many cooks spoil everything . It's usually very good here but felt a bit let down today by the service and silly mistakes.

Great discovery whilst shoppig in Burnley.We were out having a browse around Burnley and noticed this place, so decided to go in for breakfast,.I had a sausage and bacon sandwich with a cappucino and my wife had the 'Tropical morning crepe roll'.The sandwich was lovely and the coffee was really good. My wife enjoyed her crepe a lot. We got the whole lot for under £8 whcih I thought was a bargain.The staff were really friendly and the decor and layout is superb.Will definitely visit again.

Went into this little cafe in Burnley and it was heaving. They had lots of staff on to deal with the half term rush and we were able to get a table quickly. The choice of food is great - jackets, salad, toasties and sandwiches plus a huge range of savoury and sweet crepes & waffles. They also have a smaller kids menu with healthy options, vegan and organic alternatives. I have given the cafe 5* because it delivers excellent choice, well presented and great tasting food. Something different to the normal chain coffee shops. Customer service was also good. I should point out it is a cafe and you have to order your food from the counter, please don’t go expecting restaurant service. It’s not the cheapest eatery in town - lunch for 4 people cost us £60. However, we did have two rounds of drinks including milkshakes & smoothies which are never cheap. Thoroughly enjoyed it and will be going back.

It’s a little while since we ate at Quick Crepes but it’s as good as always. It was a meal before a cinema trip, the owners are always welcoming, the food is excellent and great value.

Visited again this month still not good , staff are still to busy on their phones and talking to realise people haven’t been given food for 30 minutes, the manager failed to tell me the wait time and if I would’ve known I would go elsewhere. The salad with my crepe was going off was brown on the edges dread to think about stuff in my crepe. Left my salad and half my crepe and nobody thought to ask if there was any issues. This was my 4th visit to quick crepes and definitely my last

Staff couldn't be nicer (especially Danny) and no generic 'computer says no' responses because they cant be bothered. I needed a cafe to work in for a few hours and grab some food/drinks. My laptop ran out of battery so instead of just saying 'sorry no plug sockets', they went out of their way to get an extension lead and plug it into their mains over the counter. Even moved my stuff to the new table so that I could work comfortably. This kind of service makes a place special - above and beyond that will always set them apart form the costa's of the world. Oh and beautiful pancakes! will definitely return

My wife and I have been visiting Quick Crepes more or less since it opened. Some of my other family members and mates are now also regular visitors. Whilst there is the odd negative review on here, the only delays I have seen have been when the place has been absolutely packed, and obviously the fact that everything is made freshly to order takes time. I agree with zbooth96 when he/she says that the proprietor Russell puts his heart and soul into the place. Special mentions too for Danny, Dom & Fran, for whom nothing is too much trouble. Cannot recommend Quick Crepes highly enough.

Visited Quick Crepes for the first time today and WOW, the customer service was amazing by all the team especially Russell who I can tell puts his heart and soul into his job. The banana and Nutella crepe was delicious and I can’t wait to return with friends/family! Highly recommend

Terrible! Arrived with my girlfriend and my son. Latte and drinks served after 10 minutes. We soon drank them expecting food to arrive shortly after which they didnt. 20 minutes after the drinks arrived the food arrived which was a minted lamb panini and ham and cheese panini. The lamb was clearly undercooked and seriously chewy! There was too many staff just stood around! Will not return!!!!

We had lunch here on 30/9/19. We had loooked at the menu outside a few times in the past, but decided it wasnt for us. This time we thought, lets give it a try and we are so glad that we did. The service and the choice was excellent, as for the food - well what a treat awaits you who ventures in there....fabulous,,,,,,hot and tasty, well presented and good value for money.....an enjoyable experience in every way. We will go again soon.

Called in the quick crepe this afternoon with family, and just fancied a knickerbocker glory which I haven't had for many years. But this was not on the menu, but the manager heard me asking for one, and he not only said yes I could have one but even showed the young girl how to make one for the future.SO IT WAS GOING GOING GONE for me

Having walked past here a number of times we finally went in! The menu choices were great and we all enjoyed our food. We'll be back for desert another time! Friendly and attentive staff without being overly fussy.

Party of three & all the crepes looked delicious! I found it hard to decide which to pick so great menu. I chose Tutti Fruity & loved it. I would recommend & I'll be trying it again but with my hubby & little boy.

Perfect place for a lunch/brunch. Lovely place to eat and ideal for people with dietary requirements as my brother is vegan and there selection is wide for this. Making life much earlier - plus he says it’s one of the best vegan meals he’s had in a cafe! My only recommendation is it could be bigger / upstairs - they could even do with buying the shop next door and expanding because the demand is high. This is always our first choice place to go, but when it’s too busy the wait can be too long so we opt else where. Staff are fab too!

Three of us all had different crepes, an all day breakfast, salmon special, and a minted lamb. There was a little wait for the lamb as it came out last but only around 5 mins. There were quite good portions and very good quality. We've never had savory crêpes like this, but now we can't wait to return. Coffee also nice and was worth every penny for fresh decent food.

I have been here a few times, both for eat in and take away. Everything is made fresh from when you order it. The Crepes are huge! Such great value for money. I eat an iberian with a Berry burst smoothie. My friends have had different ones and the feedback is always, they're gorgeous and massive.

Been to this place many times always had a good meal they have a large menu and do other things other than crepes . Baked potatoes ,panini,toasties, sandwiches, and the crepes are really good but I am diabetic so I don’t have the sweet ones but I had garlic chicken n cheese yesterday it was fab will be having that one again . They are quick at serving your meals and always friendly and they are not expensive I have been twice this week , so get yourself down there give it a try

I don't often come to Burnley and living in Hebden Bridge which has loads of eateries, I don't mind admitting my expectations for eating out in Burnley were not high. Oh my goodness how they were surpassed with this little gem!

Vegan review: Russell spent a very long time checking whether the Spicy Indian Rice salad was vegan - it was! He also checked whether the Mango Dream Smoothie was vegan - it was. There’s also other clearly marked items on the menu that are vegan too.

This is so much more than pancakes/crepes although the biscoff crumble was heaven, went for lunch today and everything about the experience was excellent despite it being their busier period, eye for detail, tables cleaned, front of house attentive but not overly and all this before sampling the amazing food .... which was heaven it may only have been soup which came with both croutons bread and real butter to a jacket potatoe with chilli cheese and an offer of butter also with a lovely dressed salad, the menu is so large I bet most people change their minds at least once, even the latte was one of the best had.... finished and not sure how I found room with the nicest sweet crepe 100% recommend and will be calling again

We go in some mornings, less so now the opening time has moved to 9am. The coffee is mostly perfect especially when Dom makes it and the crepes are to die for. Well done guys.

Brilliant place to be, staff are so lovely and helpful and went out of their way to help when we had two Prams and babies!! Food is 10/10 and I would defiantly recomned!! Will defiantlybe back!!

Met with family for lunch all of us were spoilt for choice with the menu selection cater for all tastes. Great selection of teas and lovely coffee. Service friendly and efficient good value for money

Went in on the off chance.. You can judge a place....packed...warm and friendly. The manager was so welcoming...We had beef crepes and pannini main course hmmmm.We indulged in sweet crepes for afters...bit of a mistake deliciously over eaten!!!!!.One issue...we were sat at a table by the fire door to upstairs..3 times my wife had to move whilst eating so staff could go upstairs..Won't knock a point off...just take that table out...We look forward to the proposed late nights...the ambiance is lovely...bye bye Marks and Spencer (your air con is too cold anyway)

Myself and my wife visited for the 3rd time today. The food is tasty great value and something different. I had a Key Lime Frappe which was tasty and so refreshing, a chilli chicken baked potato which was so tasty! A place we recommend d to everyone we know, owner and the staff so friendly. Already looking forward to our next visit!

As my wife only gets 30 minutes for her dinner, Quick Crepes are always excellent in ensuring a speedy service without jeopardising the taste and look of the food.

When the best coffee shop in Burnley town centre shut in 2018, i struggled to find anywhere that could match and for a few mo ths just got by on an average cup of coffee and my lunch snack as most of the chain coffee shops so an average coffee and a standard pre packed snack heated up,

Husband had a breakfast crepe - he said the food was cooked really well and that the ever so slight sweetness in the crepe worked very well with the English breakfast inside. I had jacket potato with chilli con carne- best one I had in years!! Lovely smoothies too (with disposable straw)

Visited here after recommendation from a friend. Got the savoury crepe and a sweet one. The sweet crepe really nice however the savoury crepe was amazing!! Staff are very friendly. A must try.

Great selection of quality food at excellent prices. The staff are very pleasant especially the guy taking the orders, he always says hello when you enter and bye when you are leaving. One of the best places to lunch in Burnley centre.

Came with friends on a Thursday evening when the musician is on. Had been a few weeks before with work colleagues and enjoyed so came again. Had the Piri piri crepe both visits, delicious. Portions are large and prices very reasonable. Also shared the waffles for dessert which came with ice cream, lots of flavours to pick from we had sasparilla and pear drop. I like that you order at the till and pay, ideal for eating as a group, no bills to split. Owner was friendly both visits. Musician was good but a little loud for conversation but did turn down when we mentioned it. Definitely would recommend.

This visit was my 5th in as many months and the 2nd unpleasant experience. Placed my order at the counter, paid, THEN was told that there would be 30 minutes to wait. Really would have been more professional to have been told before paying. However, we decided to wait, AND wait, AND wait. 35 minutes later our coffees arrived (no sign of any food). Asked the waitress to check on how much longer it would be but unfortunately she didn't re-appear. Our snack was finally brought out by a very nice waiter who apologised for our wait although it wasn't, in my opinion, his responsibility to do so. Minutes later, when the Manager saw that we were eating, he came across with the excuse that two members of staff had not turned up for work and told us that he was panicking in case we had not yet been served. However, I am CERTAIN that he would not have come to our table had we not received our food. I will certainly hesitate to visit this place again, a pity as the food is good

Came here on the 20th October with my son at 9am lovely food but the staff two girls arguing behind the counter very loud that even my son commented on this.. this is such a shame as I visited a few days before and the owner and staff where amazing..
