Excellent food and service. Beautiful pub, fresh, clean, and lots of character. The staff are so friendly and efficient. It's definitely worth a visit, not only for the food but for a beer and a game of pool too!

Stayed over for one night stopover in our RV motorhome. The staff were welcoming and friendly. We had a lovely meal and timed it right with a live singer on which was really good. Would definitely recommend and visit again.

The food was ok, little over priced , mixed grill £28.99 is a little strong, Dogs around a small eating area, not a pleasant smell whilst trying to enjoy an afternoon lunch .

Food in general was excellent, the only downfall was the beans! They was cold, not just mine but the table next to us too, they asked for theirs to be nuked but surely the chef should check that food is hot BEFORE it is served!!! Apart from this it would of been a 5⭐️

We went to Hapton Inn for a valentines meal and we are very impressed. The food was very tasty and freshly prepared, the service was fantastic we couldn't ask for more and the price was very reasonable. We would recommend this place to anyone and everyone. Well ✔️ done to all involved!!

The Hapton Inn, Hapton, Lancashire. I went to Hapton for an enduro experience day and kind enough to let me stop over in my VW camper in their car park for 2 nights. The pub itself is lovely. Got very busy both nights but not surprising as the food is lush. I enjoyed one of the best roast lambs I've ever had. Staff are really friendly, and the Locals too. If you walk up the right side of the pub there are the most spectacular views! It's not far from Accrington, Burnley, and Rossendale valley, all lovely areas. Lots to do. Totally recommend.

Had a lovely meal got put in child and family area what was a little lively but was fine was not pleased about the language coming from the table behind myself and my wife as there was a few children about and also vaping inside I was not pleased about apart from that the food was good and the service was good also

We visited the Hapton Inn today for our lunch, we have driven past lots of times and have never stopped, so today we thought we give it a try. I'm so glad we did! We were really impressed with the whole experience! The girl who took our order and brought the drinks was friendly, polite and efficient. Our drinks came quickly and our food not long after. We ordered, steaks one medium and one medium rare, they were both seasoned and cooked to perfection and the blue cheese sauce which we chose to accompany the steaks was to die for. To top it off the bill was very reasonable We definitely won't be driving past again!

Having special dietary requirements can be a challenge when eating out however Becky who has recently started running the pub went out of her way to ensure my requirements were met without the quality of food being affected and remembered my needs for our return visit which was an added personal touch to excellent customer service and attention to detail. Excellent freshly prepared food and lovely local relaxed and welcoming atmosphere with dogs allowed in part of the pub.

We did a motorhome stopover on Saturday night. I had the most fabulous ribeye steak cooked rare and perfectly seasoned. Cooked to my liking. Fabulous Guiness so I had a few of them. The new owners are making a great pub and restaurant a must visit. When up here again it’s our go to place for food and drink. Thank you guys.

Just been for lunch with the family, had a lovely meal, friendly staff, clean, with a lovely atmosphere. Importantly it was reasonably priced to go out for a bite to eat, when so many local pubs are charging £18+ for main course alone this was £66 for 2 courses (mains and dessert) for 3 people including 5 drinks. Would highly recommend & encourage people to support this great little pub!

We popped in for dinner on a Wednesday evening without booking a table. We were very fortunate that it was a lovely sunny evening so we were able to sit and eat outside which was a bonus. There's a lovely beer garden area with plenty of tables and benches which is ideal as well as the pub inside We were a party of 4 and we ordered a couple of starters and side dishes instead of main meals plus a couple of meals off the specials board. The food was excellent we even ordered a couple of side orders of home made slaw and the manager came out to apologise and explain she was not happy with what they intended to give us and apologised and offered us a refund which we happily accepted as we felt this was very acceptable We will definitely be returning when we're back in the area.

Visited for the first time today, was a pleasant experience staff were all very professional and friendly. Food was great no one had any complaints and we are very fussy. My husband and son said their burgers were amazing (was the biggest they do). Well cooked also. We nipped out to the garden and we thought it was really good. Thank you 🤩

After reading harsh reviews, we where hesitant on booking a table at Hapton Inn. But our experience was great. Friendly staff, very polite and helpful. Food was amazing and a great price. The younger staff that are being trained are an inspiration to our community x we will definitely be back

Absolutely perfect day, staff are so lovely, welcoming & friendly, went above & beyond for us for our grandads birthday. We can’t thank you enough. The service was impeccable & the food was delicious. Will definitely be going back! Thank you so much again to you all x

If I could give 0 I would. The food is terrible, the staff are rude and their attitudes are shocking. I had a meal with my mum and she was really sick after and I was sick too. Mums elderly and it's a worry when people get sick off bad food. I would avoid here.

Very disappointed, had a large table booking couple months in advance for a meal with family for an event to see an artist perform who is close to the family. Due to us travelling a long distance accommodation had been booked, however the venue decided to cancel the event 24hr before with no explanation which left us out of pocket and unnecessary stress. Very disheartened to hear the artist recieved an abusive message at 2am in the morning from a member of staff due to negative reviews they had recently received as a result of this.

Pub food could do with more veg on the plate . Good selection of beers service a little slow but good atmosphere early days for the new people who run it. Will go again to see if it improves in the next couple of weeks.Got to be possitive to succeed and please up your game.

An absolute little gem, we live not far away , and have driven past , but never been in . Had a sharing platter today , delicious, not your standard fried frozen platter. Ribs , Mac and cheese, slaw , fish and chicken strips and spicy fries . A real treat . Selection of cask ales and other drinks. We shall most definitely be back . Pleasant light decor , has had a recent change of management, hope they do well here .

Decent food and reasonable service. Decent portions too. Chicken burger was very good, beef burger perfectly acceptable. Staff were attentive and friendly. Two mains and two drinks under £30. Definitely worth a visit if you're passing.

First time visit to Lee's new place, having been previously to where he was before. The food was outstanding, lovely home cooked food. Fabulous atmosphere, it's really a great venue. Will definitely be visiting again soon.

Visited for the Thursday evening pub quiz and arrived early so we could eat and get a good seat. The steak was absolutely amazing, Cooked to perfection and well seasoned. Very tasty. The quiz was great fun with a selection of questions to appeal to everyone. And the landlord Lee quite the quizmaster. A very good selection of beers and ales finished of with a very nice coffee. A fantastic night out and just what we needed. Thank you and see you soon.

Visited on the 4th April with 3 friends. One lady was served a cheese and onion pie with raw pastry. After asking the chef about it his answer was that's how pastry should be. The lady in question left the pastry. Puddings came and another ladys cheese cake had something on the side of it. Again we asked about it to be told it was fruit. When we disagreed the chef/manager was very rude and arrogant. The lady's anxiety was through the roof as he made her feel very nervous. I have posted pictures on their actual Facebook page of what we was served because his attitude was not nice. If it had been resolved in a friendly manner that would have been the end of it. Everything was paid for.

Best meal out I've had in a long time and excellent service. Looking forward to going back again.

Called for an impromptu lunch with a friend today. Haven't visited for years but will absolutely be back. Really quiet but expected this on a Tuesday lunch time. As soon as we walked in we had a lovely greeting and were seated straight away. Drinks order taken within minutes and menus provided. Plenty of time to choose without being pestered or hurried. We both ate from the sandwich menu - a Po Boy, shrimp loaded ciabatta with gorgeous sauce and a pulled lamb ciabatta. Both had salad sides and really lovely chunky chips. Food was quick to arrive, really fresh, tasty and piping hot. The pub is beautifully clean, well presented and the staff friendly without being overbearing. Really good value for money too. Thank you, will def be back 😊

Quiet Monday night meal out to celebrate birthdays. Lovely cheese and onion pie, chips and beans, according to Facebook page the pies are handmade on site. Yum! Pizza for daughter and fish and chips for grandma. All meals great, piping hot, freshly cooked. Great service. Will be back to try the other pie flavours!

Visited today for lunch ..very dissapointed with the whole afternoon!..waitress rushed us to table and immediately took drinks order.There were 6 of us and on bringinging drinks waited to take food order.We asked for 5 more minutes....which was given.She took our orders..food came ok..with one meal forgotten!The waitress then carried on to tell us that we had not ordered that item!!! We all insisted yes we had!!after 10 more minutes the missing meal arrived!All our meals had chips..which were not cooked ..fish and chips the fish was hard...The waitress apologised for mistake but we all agreed she really was rushing our whole service..very abrupt and sharp with us!! Will not be returning!!..Poor service..poor food!

Messaged the pub a few days before to see if there would be room on the car park. Very busy in the evening so decided to set off the following morning. The landlord Lee came over to us as soon as we arrived. Lovely man, very welcoming. Good choice of cask ales and decent menu. Steak and ale pie is a winner. Beautiful views. Will definitely visit again.

We came a year ago and wasn't impressed but when we heard that it has recently been taken over we wanted to give it another go and so we booked for Mother's Day. We all were very impressed and can tell the standards have improved. There was four of us and we sat in the front part which was nice. The lady who served us mostly, sorry I didn't get her name, was fantastic and I did want to mention her. So friendly and kind and very attentive. The food was fantastic, great quality and good value for money. We really like the look of the menu and will be back again. Two of us got the Sunday Roasts and they were unbelievable. So good! There of us had garlic mushrooms to start which was nice. Two got the sandwiches which for the price came with huge piles of meat. No complaints from any of us, lovely visit.

How disappointing. Never again. Had Ribs and wings to start, wings were lovely but ribs were 90% cartilage - I passed this onto the waitress to which she said "what do you want me to do?", so I politely asked her to just pass on my feedback to the chef (however at this point her rudeness already had got my back up). Then the main arrived, the onion rings were more like doughnuts, there was uncooked batter all the way through them. My friends at the table attempted to eat one each but all said the same thing, so they were not eaten. The pulled lamb was really dry and overcooked. But the worst part was the rudeness of the waitress who served us. Very loud and abrupt, not helpful when I gave feedback about food and quite frankly needs to learn some manners! Then when we came to pay I passed on my comments about the waitress and was abruptly stopped and told " the boss is there behind you, that's who you need to talk to" and then proceeded to slag us off to the waitress as we walked out. A Restaurant which does not welcome feed back about food and employ rude staff to be front of house.

Today we visited for a 5th birthday, we pre ordered food for 12.30 pm ,1.10 pm starters arrived at 1.45 mains arrived which is slow service in my opinion . The only nice thing about the food was garlic mushrooms starter won't be rushing back soon .

Hapton Inn has been known for changing hands quite abit over the years but I hope the owners/chef stay this time. Food was perfect! Full of flavour, good portions and a good choice of meals. Decor was lovely and clean. Loved how they had local artist prints available to purchase used as decor (pricey for prints but still very nice) Only small downsides which could easily be resolved was the service was abit slow. One waitress seemed to be wearing what looked like slippers but not 100% sure. The area towards the back didn't really have any atmosphere, the music that was being played was only really down the bar area so the tables at the back were pretty silent and felt like we had to whisper whilst talking. Some speakers up the back end would easily solve this. All in all, was a very enjoyable meal out and have already told friends about it, would really recommend. 👍

My partner and me have just been here tonight. Lovely atmosphere, staff are lovely and friendly. The food was absolutely delicious!!! My partner got a Rib Eye Steak and said he cannot remember the last time he had such a good, tasty steak. We will definitely be back to try more items on the menu.

Called in for Sunday lunch with my partner, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Well cooked beef, and plenty of it. A great selection of perfectly cooked veg too. All really well presented, and good value. I would highly recommend. Only downside was the desert. New York cheesecake. Not a patch on the main course in terms of quality. Doubt it was made in house.

I've visited this restaurant twice since the new owners took over, and have enjoyed both visits, once in January and February. Lovely atmosphere and staff are polite and friendly, nothing is too much trouble. Food is excellent, especially the Sunday roast dinner, that was delicious. Will definitely visit again very soon, also there are great views around the restaurant of the countryside, well worth a visit.

This Pub has been taken over recently by new owners. Have been twice in the last two weeks. First on a Sunday with a group of 13. Sunday roast beef/lamb was fabulous. It was packed out so would advise people to book. Second visit today with a group of ten. We all had the lunch menu which costs £9.95. Everybody really enjoyed the food and although it was supposed to be a smaller meal we were all stuffed to the gills. Staff are really friendly, atmosphere good. What's not to like. Give it a try. Well done to the Staff and good luck to the new owners.

Been for two meals here since the new owners have taken over. The food is great and up to the same standard as it was at their other location x It is nice to see this pub with good food again.

Called in here for a lunchtime drink on the very day that the new ownership / management team took over, so perhaps a little unfair to judge them too harshly. They engaged very pleasantly with us, we had a nice pint of beer (from a much reduced choice, but it was day one), looked like they had a good pub grub lunchtime menu. Pub interior very nicely fitted out, suspect this was done in the last 2 or 3 years. Hope they go from strength to strength, good luck to them.

Three of us were celebrating my sister's birthday and we hadn't been here for years and so we were unsure of what the meals would be like. I have to say that the place had changed a lot but we needn't have worried; the service was first class and our meals were excellent as the clean plates testified. My wife had the gammon, which she said was the best she'd ever tasted, and my sister and I both had the Steak and Ale pie which was delicious. We are definitely coming here again, and soon!

Really disappointed with our visit here I’m afraid. We waited far too long for the food to arrive and when it did, the starters were only just warm. The mains took another length of time to arrive and unfortunately weren’t worth the wait. The length of time was mentioned to staff but it was apparent they felt it was acceptable to wait an hour and a half for food. We won’t be going back. PS the reply from the owner is all lies.

Beef burger was shocking and the chips were undercooked

Had fish and chips, really nice. The pub is really light and feels clean. Part of a group of 10 and everyone was well suited. Beer was good and reasonably priced

Went back to this establishment after a few years, the last time we went, it was not the best experience... however, the pub is now under new management and you can tell...! Service was great and the food was excellent, not to sure on the slaw though... it was a lunch time visit and on the day we went it was fairly quiet, hence the 4 stars for atmosphere, would recommend...

Well, what a fantastic experience was invited out with David and Sharon, and the Hapton Inn at Hapton would be the venue for our Saturday night tea. The table was booked for 7 pm me, and my wife I haven't been to Hapton Inn for many years it was a pleasant surprise to see pub nicely decorated and spacious, and a nice atmosphere we all had the red onion bhaji just delicious my wife had the burger and I had the gammon just fantastic best pub meal we have had for a long time the staff were pleasent and courteous 10 out 10 thanks see you again soon
