Massarella Coffee Shop in Burnley

We walked pasted a few times on Tuesday, cafe was very busy which we thought it must be good. Soon as we walked in we was greeted with a young man who give a 5* service. The food was excellent the atmosphere was better than the other cafés I have been to in Burnley. Nothing was too much for the staff at Massarella's just Excellent service, excellent food and a quality all round establishment. This is now my go to cafe in Burnley! 100% Recommended!

Called in this cafe for the first time this morning, my wife and myself had the Christmas Twist. It was a Italian flatbread with Turkey, bacon, cheese and cranberry sauce with salad and chips. All very tasty, service nice and friendly, nice clean cafe and nice clean toilets. Season Greetings

Came in yesterday, excellent soup and toasted sandwich . Man behind counter doesn't look happy with life, but understand he may have troubles in life. Will definitely visit again. All food served hot.

Very poor only one sausage one bacon scrambled egg one mushroom and beans for two people plus two coffees over £21.00 won't go here again not worth the money and tasteless and no toast either

Quick very friendly service. Always pop in here when I visit Burnley.

My two grandsons, aged 16, sat at a table whilst I waited for my order at the counter. I saw a lady behind the counter looking at my grandsons and asking the man making the coffee who they were, with a grim look on her face. I said "They are my grandsons". She grimly replied, " well "they" come in out of the rain, sometimes bringing in MC Donald's!" We do not live in Burnley so definitely do not go in there frequently. How dare she assume all young people have no manners! My grandsons have excellent manners and were just sat waiting for there drinks. I did not appreciate them being glared at and talked about so loudly. I later found out she was the manager! Her customer service is dispicable! We WILL not be going in again!!!!

We always enjoy our toasted tea cakes and coffee. The service is excellent, and friendly. We recommend Massarella Cafe to all who want a nice meal. Douglas and Wendy

I have a little fun memories coming here with my grandad place has been a staple the town centre for a while and then really Easy to miss the stuff inside a very nice on the prices for the food and drink of a reasonable you will see a lot of old people especially on Saturday and Sunday mornings however stop in for a drink because it’s worth every penny

A great little coffee shop, eat in or outside under the canopy. There is table service all day, food is available for all tastes. There is a WC available for customers, wheelchair accessible. Prices are not to expensive. A great place to meet up as directly in the middle of Charter walk shopping centre.

We called for breakfast here before shopping. My husband had a lovely cooked breakfast with tea and toast for just under £5. I had a beautifully cooked omelette. The service was fantastic. The toilets were also exceptionally clean. Couldn't fault it.

If you're Scottish avoid this place - they don't accept Scottish notes! Absolutely pathetic in this day and age of political correctness. Service was pretty poor and slow as well.

I was very dissapointed with our visit to the cafe today, we took my 94 yr old mum xmas shopping had a lovely morning, i ordered chips and gravy they do not do gravy its a cafe !!!?, i ordered a bacon teacake they had no teacakes, i asked for a jacket potato they were not ready, the curry was not ready . we recieved a bacon sandwich for my mum and i would not feed it to my dog, it was cold and over done,she did not eat it. i have had issues with this cafe before and the manager refused to speak to me. I was not prepared to complain as the manager does not care. i will not visit there again and am surprised there are no more reviews.
