Service and food both fantastic. The Caribbean martini was amazing 👏

Went on a Saturday lunchtime. Only a few customers in. Food was very good but pricey and the wine was very pricey. I found the staff apart from one waitress a bit aloof. (No smiles) Decor was amazing though. No parking at all though which lets it down . 40 mins wait which was useless.

Honestly, can't go wrong at all with this place, the food is amazing, the staff are constantly on the ball and very friendly, the service is fast, you get your food within 20minutes, starter within 10, the pricing is also very fair.

Absolutely superb restaurant, we loved it from first going in to leaving. Was lovely and quiet when we arrived so was greeted by staff straight away and given the choice of anywhere we liked to sit. They asked us for drinks and were so fast in bringing them. They gave us more than enough time to choose our food so we didn’t feel pressured to order, and I was amazed at how fast and well done the darling bread starter was out! Our pasta dishes were only 5 minutes behind the pizza so not long at all, amazing service. When we were all done the table was cleaned up swiftly and asked for any more food, but we were not rushed out when we didn’t want anything else which I did really appreciate. Just an all round gorgeous building with amazing food and drink options. Superb staff that want to help and keep everything so clean and tidy.

We had a meal there on the 31st August 2024 we sat down and waited 20min for somebody to take our order . There was no water offered while waiting we then proceeded with our order I ordered steak and had to wait another 5 mins after asking for a steak knife to be able to eat my steak .we was sat so close together you couldn’t move .and you certainly couldn’t hear yourself talk .we felt like they try to cram as many people in to make as much money as possible not an enjoyable experience in my opinion

£16 for a microwave lasagne, service very slow. Bill way too high for the service and quality of food. Won't be back

My girlfriend had fond memories of visiting this place when she was younger, and it certainly lived up to the nostalgia. Set in a beautifully restored old bank, the atmosphere was unique and charming. The service was wonderful, with staff who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. My girlfriend tried a few cocktails, and they were absolutely incredible—well-crafted and delicious. The food was equally amazing; she had a carbonara that was perfectly creamy and full of flavour, while I opted for a calzone that was done to perfection. We couldn't fault a single thing and will definitely be coming back again!

Came for an anniversary meal out with our two children, one with ASD. Staff were very friendly and informative. Food was delivered quickly and the kids make your own pizza, It was very interactive for our boys who loved the whole experience. Prices were not cheap but neither was the quality and I feel it reflected well on what was delivered to us with good timing. I had tagliatelle lamb and my wife gluten free Carbonara, again excellent. Only niggle was it got loud but not overly so. We will be back again.

Called at the pallazzo by the off chance and I have to say we were blown away - drinks were quick and easy asked for menus and ordered some food the waitress was a young blonde girl (didn’t get her name ) she was excellent- polite engaging smiling the food arrived within 10 mins piping hot fresh everything you expect and want. The service was excellent from start to finish and food was delicious! Well done and great job all the expectations of a city centre restaurant and more. Would highly recommend

I have been here in the past and had good food, however, tonight was not good at all. Garlic mushroom starter was very small even for a starter. The chicken main was small, extremely salty and oily. Left me with an off stomach and my stepmum who had the same meals. When we were asked how our meal was, the waitress said the chirozo is supposed to be salty. Very disappointing especially for the price you pay..

My boyfriend and I have been to The Palazzo a few times now. The food and service has always been amazing. Very fast. It’s actually a very decent price for what you’re getting as some Italian restaurants are very expensive.

Italian restaurant in the centre of Burnley. Very beautiful and impressive former bank building with marble walls and high ceilings. Bar area with a bigger range of drinks than I’ve seen anywhere. Spacious dining area very tastefully decorated. Exceptional service, in our case from the daughter of the proprietor. Extensive Italian menu with some British favourites. I recommend the pizza starters, particularly the rosemary one. I had the seafood linguine - the best I’ve ever had. Highly recommended in every area - the best Italian ever!

Top marks for this hidden gem in Burnley town centre! Service was spot on--friendly, attentive and nearby. Food was quick (maybe too quick?) and delicious. We started with the chicken ceasar salad that had plenty of chicken, but lettuce was on the slim side. My husband had the pancetta with gnocci from the specials menu while I had the linguine pescatore, both fantastic. The trio for dessert were three small, but shareable size portions after a gorgeous meal, which we followed with the best coffee we've had in a long time! The atmosphere was flawless and definitely made you feel like you were transported to a little European city restaurant. Seating was ample in the bar section and restaurant areas with lots of options for large groups. Please let them know if you are mobility-challenged and to be placed on the main floor as the mezzanine does not have an elevator, but does offer a great view.

The food was amazing could not fault it at all. However the service was very slow took half an hour to order drinks and another 15 minutes for them to arrive. Also through no fault of their own was very very noisy so could not have a conversation with each other. At one point the waiter snapped at me for miss hearing him which put a bit of a damper on things which should have been a pleasant night out enjoying my birthday.

Momo was a pleasure. Fun, attentive and ensured we had a very enjoyable experience. Thank you! x

Met my sons for lunch and staff, Alex? Gave us time to settle then took drinks and the order. Food arrived soon after and was delicious. Both my sons took half their pizzas home. Will be back soon to try another dish on the menu.

Beautiful meal in a beautiful building. When you enter you really don’t feel like you are in Burnley. We had starters which were very fresh and delicious. Then the main course were big servings and was hard to finish. But overall it was a pleasant experience and what we needed.

This place is amazing I would recommend you come here. Also there was a waitress named Alex and she was very polite and she was just incredible. Also the toilets were very clean and plus in my opinion the pizzas were outstanding. By Ava age 8

Went on a Thursday night for a friend's birthday, the food was delicious and the venue and atmosphere are lovely. The highlight was how well we were treated by the staff, who dont rush you at all and make sure you have everything you need! Loved it!

My experience from Friday 7th June We came to the restaurant to celebrate a friend's 30th birthday a very special occasion people had come from colne, Blackburn and even up from Scotland to celebrate We called and booked a table for 12 people the previous Monday 3rd june and confirmed numbers the restaurant accepted our table no problem booked for 7 o'clock when we arrived the waiter asked how many was in our party we again confirmed they was 12 and that we booked prev to get a reply "yes I'm aware you've booked" he walked off came back "I'm working on your table, do you want to sit together?" Of course we said yes we waited at the bar for half an hour before being seated I say being seated we was squeezed under the stairs leading the balcony (didnt know we was getting the harry potter Experience) on a very small narrow table we had to put the shortest person at bottom of table so no one was banging their head, at the top of the table TWO people was placed one having to balance on the very corner of the table. There wasn't enough room for anyone's meals or drinks but that was only the first of our problems. We order 4 Margarita pizzas a waitresses came over and Said 2 of the pizzas had garlic on which hadn't been ordered would we still accept it? We was all starving so we did. When food 4 pasta dish's was sent back cold 2 was fish pasta dishes one was swapped to a pizza instead and the rest was very clearly microwaved as came back steaming but still cold in the middle one VERY CONCERNING one was still a fish pasta dish that was mircowaved!! The pizza that had replaced one of the pasta dishes came out wrong the other pizzas came out sloppy seeming under cooked all not cut so when trying to cut it all the cheese and sauce just slopped off onto the plate (someone had ordered a garlic bread with their pasta and that came out cut?) We ordered 5 colas and the poor waitress was struggling to get around our very cammed table to the point the tray toppled over spilling the all down my friends back soaking her, all down the front of the poor waitress and down another friends jacket on the table and in people's food and smashing glasses on the floor, We demanded management who was unapologetic and Unfazed they left our friends and waitress soaked they had to take themselves off to bathroom to try clean up. When we started listing everything that had gone wrong and was unacceptable they said "well what can we do to sort this" We said first off apologies to our wet friends and to the birthday girl her birthday was spoiled by their Negligence. No one finished their plates, when it came to the bill they tried to charge us for the 5 colas they spilled all over us !! After a debate they knocked off the wrong food the colas and a percentage None of us will be back and we're still unhappy a special occasion was ruined

Really lovely setting, friendly and helpful staff and delicious food. We had a garlic starter to share, a pasta dish each, a side dish and a bottle of wine, very reasonably priced (bill came to 77.50). Would definitely rebook when next in Burnley

Best italian restaurant in Burnley and surrounding area. Lovely food and a good selection of beers including a couple of decent ipa's 'Loom' and 'Jute' from the Salt beer factory, for those who don't want to drink generic lagers.

Sunday 5pm, quite busy but not full, very nice atmosphere. Huge building, very grand and spacious. Good food, large bar area and quick service with a reasonably priced menu. Would definitely go again.

Visited on a Sunday with a friend having wanted to try it since moving to the area two years ago, I dont have a particularly high opinion of Burnley but I was blown away by This restaurant. Interior was very smart and true to the original building features, food and service fantastic everything cooked perfectly. We have already booked a few return group meals

My food was good but my daughters pizza was soggy in middle and one the male waiters was a bit rude,chief was pleasant and smiley and bar staff was friendly too.

We frequented the restaurant on a Busy (full) Saturday evening. We received a warm and friendly welcome. Prior to going through to our table, we sat in the lovely bar area to have a cocktail. We had our elderly grandmother with us who isn’t very mobile and Momo couldn’t do enough to help. He offered us to eat in the bar area if this would have been easier for my grandmother and showed me a couple of tables in the restaurant area to see which we preferred - we chose to eat in the restaurant. When we were ready to go through to the table he insisted on helping us get my gran get to her seat (she absolutely loved him for that, as we all did!). The menu is fantastic, we didn’t know what to choose and definitely over ordered. When the food arrived it was absolutely stunning. Every single staff member was lovely, friendly and attentive despite being extremely busy - nothing was too much trouble. 10/10 would recommend. We’ll definitely be going back. I love to see a gorgeous building like this being put to use. The team at Palazzo are doing it right and I wish all the success to these guys.

The prices are the best so cheap and it's the best of the best I would highly recommend.

This place is SECOND TO NONE 😍❤️!!! It’s absolutely BEAUTIFUL inside and the food is absolutely deeelicious!!! I’ve known the owner since I was a little girl, he and his family have owned restaurants all over Lancashire from Accrington when it was booming, to the lovely scenic clitheroe and now he has this absolute gem in Burnley. If you’re ever around please take the time to pop in for lunch/dinner it is outstanding, you will not be disappointed. See you soon guys xXx

This is my second visit here, as was the first time.. the food was faultless and delicious across the board , so compliments to the chef. Where I feel a little disgruntled is the 10% service charge that landed on our bill, which amounted to nearly £17, there were only 4 of us dining for lunch!, although the service was good, I would not have tipped £17!, we had to ask for drinks orders to be taken twice, had to ask for cutlery for one diner. I always leave a tip and leave an amount I feel is deserved. Like I said, the service was good but not exceptional and definitely didn’t reflect the £17 charged. Why do you automatically apply 10%… we are not in America… and your menu prices are certainly not cheap!. I don’t mind paying for good food, but feel like advantage is being taken here!.

Firstly complements to the chef the food was excellent. This was our second visit in recent weeks very disappointing that the bills have been incorrect both times. The first time we paid cash which we checked between us, 15 minutes after paying, a waitress came back to us saying we had paid 14 pounds short we disputed this but our taxi was waiting so we paid and left. A member of our party contacted the Palazzo next day after much discussion monies were refunded. The food is excellent so we rebooked deciding to pay drinks at the bar and our meals by card only to get our bill and find all the drinks had been recharged on our bill.plus a bottle of water when we had tap water. We complained and after a discussion with the waiter and checking till ect our bill was altered with a very insincere apology it spoiled the night and no even though we cannot fault the food twe will not be booking again, they do need to address billing and payment methods .

Was with a large group of about 15. Food would have better if i had got what I ordered, but they gave me the wrong meal and then they told me it is what I ordered...as I was not familiar with their menu and forgot the exact name of my meal, they confused me by giving names of the food and them insisting i got what i ordered (defensively blaming me), so I asked for a menu back to show them what I ordered. Eventually they made my correct meal. But by this time everyone else had finished eating, and I was kinda past eating, it wasn't bad but just not a great experience. Not cheap for the little I had, or the experience.

Very nice, well cooked Italian food. Really enjoyed the calamari for starter and the steak Calzone for main course. Set in the old bank the decoration is amazing.

Went there for our 5 year-old's birthday - couldn't fault it

Absolutely love coming here. It's one of the best places to dine out and nothing ever disappoints. We got the Pasta Agnello for the main and the lamb was literally amazing. So soft and such a tasty meal. Drinks are really good too!. All in all, it's a great place to go. Can't get better staff either, they're all so friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend.

Could not fault the service or the food. Order taken within minutes by very on the ball staff, food brought out very quickly, incredibly fresh and very tasty. Desserts the same. Lovely and approachable staff. Would recommend to anyone.

Just been to this restaurant. Food was lovely and the service was really friendly. Free desserts given after a mix up about the table being required. Manager could have been a little less rude though!

Lovely place but let down by one member of staff very rude. I ordered Cozze 3 Pepe it was gritty. The Linguine pescatore was very nice but none of the mussels had opened just how fresh are these. Maybe change your supplier

This Italian restaurant was recommended to us whilst staying overnight at a local hotel. Amazing food, beautiful restaurant. A little pricey but worth every penny. Highly recommended

Eat here last night before the Burnley game and it was terrific. Lovely starter of cheesy garlic pizza bread but far from the normal offering and enough to share. Main courses of Lamb Tagliatelle and Seafood Linguine were superb and real quality. Excellent value for money SA sauvignon Blanc from an interesting wine list. Service was brilliant on what was a busy night. Great place to eat and no need for Var to confirm our opinion.

A nice place to have a dinner in Burnley. Very authentic Italian food. I order Linguine Pescatore, Risotto Salmone, Sweet Potato Fries, Tiramisu and Flat White. Linguine Pescatore has a plenty of seafood including 3 prawns, 5 mussels and some squid rings. Risotto Salmone also very delicious with lots of salmon. And I want to try another risotto - Mashoroom risotto next time. Tiramisu as like as you can eat in Italy. Everything in this restaurant are very good, the environment is very beautiful, also the staffs are friendly and nice. If you want to have a dinner in here, I suggest you should book a table in advance. I came in here at 5p.m. on Saturday, and around at 5:20 the restaurant was full. Service charge in Palazzo is 20%.

Everything was good clean tidy spacious, paid parking in street, busy weekends, moderate prices. Nice environment.

We really enjoyed our evening! We both enjoyed our starters of pate and calamari and both opted for pasta dishes along with a tomato and chilli garlic bread. Cannot fault anything! The atmosphere was great, obviously this might be due to it being just before Christmas. We enjoyed a drink in the bar area after with a singer/ artist on. Drinks are expensive but it is to be expected with the nice venue and central location!

Fantastico experience first time here for Laura's Birthday.great atmosphere & the place is like a roman Palace inside .excellent service all round great food genuine Italian waiters!. A Diaabled toilet not too far to walk to. Great decor lovely chandelier, look at their on site photos.comfy seating.It s near to car parks and buses so no excuse get yourselves down here , worth the journey, took us 45mins to get here.I'm going to come again and tell my friends too.Delisio Mella cancello.

New Years Day had an evening meal at the Palatzo with family and friends. We all had a starter, main meal and desert with wine. The charming Sulayman served us, suggested wine selections and accommodated our requests for slight alterations to some of our chosen dishes. The starters arrived quickly as did the main course. We were all highly satisfied with the quality of food which was delicious and served by friendly staff. Palatzo is in what was Barclays Bank years ago. The transformation retained the high ceilings and created a place of comfortable elegance. The music was muted, making conversations easy. The restaurant is to the rear of the building with a generous seating area at the front near the bar. We highly recommended The Palatzo, it is also somewhere I would feel comfortable going by myself for a meal or a coffee.

This is an excellent restaurant. Great ambiance, excellent service, well targeted menu executed faultlessly. Don’t go anywhere else - book ahead! Gets v busy - deservedly so.

As other reviews have mentioned, the building is so noisy when full. The service was very good and efficient and the food was really nice, but the portion of chicken with chorizo was on the small side. So overall, a 3! Sorry.

wow , what can i say , the staff are excellent , very helpful with the menu and dietary information , such a wonderful restaurant great atmosphere . a special mention to Dino who goes above and beyond , the food was excellent ,my wife and i had a lovely meal, we asked where the 'clarets' premier league flag, close to the wood fired oven had gone.apparently some idiot had complained it looked tacky and made the very classy restaurant look like a pub?the flag isn't in the restaurant but in the bar , i don't know what pubs they drink in but they must be special , An italian restaurant in the heart of the town supporting the town and one persons negative response sees the flag removed ? how sad are you , bring back the flag , be proud to support our team
