The Loom Makers Bistro in Burnley

What a find! Serves real ale (reasonably priced) and delicious Japanese themed food. I had the Prawn Chahan and it is highly recommended. I'm just glad Wetherspoons was full and we went here instead!

Experience was that good the first time I keep going back, I absolutely love everything about this place. The bar manager is so polite and helpful, very welcoming soon as I come in and there’s a large selection of soft drinks as well as alcoholic drinks. The food is amazing! Nowhere does this sort of cuisine in Burnley and it’s great that it’s served here. Even the way it’s ordered and collected is unique and different which I like. Plenty of space to sit downstairs and upstairs on the mezzanine, from chairs to couches. Great deals on food on different days and there’s always something going on from karaoke to live music nights. There’s loads of space to park outside but it is roadside parking so can sometimes be very busy and hard work.

Been a number of times for the bands, great atmosphere just wish guineas was on draft :)

Food is brilliant since Zumuku took control. It's a must try and easily the best food in Burnley Town centre.

Atmosphere❤️Great Ramen and bao👍🏻With drinks everything is sad (cocktails taste like water and ice. BUT! I would come back for this food again.

This place is the hidden gem of Burnley, simply excellent food everytime. They've changed the place to also be a bar as well and it such a good atmosphere.

The food is top quality(Zumuzu). Worth the price. Will have to go back there soon! They also offered 20%off for take away.

Great Saturday night live music

Met with friends for a precise game breakfast. Nice friendly welcome. Ordered the breakfast pizza minus beans and I can honestly say it’s one of the best pizzas I have ever had. It was really good and I would recommend anyone to try it. Great value for money will definitely return

Love this place, a little hidden gem

I arrived at 7:30 last Saturday. It wasn’t by any means full. Asked for a table. Twenty minutes before my order of three tapas type food items was taken. Forty minutes later, two items arrived, had to wait another ten minutes for the third item by which time the first two had gone cold. Qualify of food good but ruined by crap service. 1st and last visit.

Was a guest of Wayne farrow ( the wedding singer)had the place packed out and rocking staff and food was amazing

Great newish bar in what is fast becoming know as 'Burnleys Northern Quarter'. Good atmosphere, decent choice of beers 'n drinks, friendly, helpful barstaff. Great 'live music' bar with regular bands and acts on packing the place out. You can also get pizzas, wings and various other snacks. I've only ever had the pizzas and wings so can only review these, but have to say they were both very good and not too pricey 😋👍

Had another brilliant night at The Loom, watching the awesome band The Shivers. Wonderful venue, great food and drinks, lovely friendly staff.

Food was amazing, service for food great. If you want to come in for just drinks, start brewing your own as it would be quicker. 4 behind the bar at one point and 20 minutes to get a pint.

Brilliant first visit here at The Loom! We reserved a table upstairs and this was a really quirky and fun environment- love the fairy lights & vinyl decorated bar! All food was amazing, we ordered pizzas and a few tapas dishes which were all presented beautifully and tasted lovely. Staff were really friendly and helpful too. Entertainment in the evening (Saturday night) was great! We enjoyed a few different cocktails and sang along with Mike Roberts who played lots of indie/rock and classics- brilliant! Great night, can't wait to come back!

What a lovely surprise this place is, loved the vibe, food very tasty, tapas was excellent. Live band was excellent (the shivers).

This is the first time we have visited The Loom for food. We had a mixture of pizza and small plates. The pizza was excellent, a really thin base with delicious toppings (the chicken one) The small plates were very tasty, we had the seabass (excellent), the cod tacos, meatballs and aspen fries ( proper aspen fries). The service was brilliant as well. Can't recommend enough.

This place we couldn't fault ,had a lovely lady serve us, she was attentive friendly a credit to your restaurant she made our girls afternoon outing fabulous. The food was outstanding fresh and prompt. Well worth a visit lots of offers too 😃 definitely be returning

Booked a table for lunch to catch up with a friend. All the draught was down so the staff were under pressure. However were really pleasant and helpful. We ordered several small plates to share and they were delicious. They had an offer on which was a pizza and 2 small plates for £19.99. Myself and my friend are not fans of pizza. My only constructive criticism is that you should bring back some offers just for the small plates as you did previously. Thankyou for a lovely lunch.

I didn't have any food although it looks good and will try sometime. The pubs size is a little small but is fine enough. The main issue I had was after having a pint of pale Eagle I couldn't get another of them due to it running out (and not another barrel being put on), I then opted for the only other real ale (which like the pale Eagle was very good). I also wanted a pint of Perrotti but that had run out (but one was going to be put on in around 10 mins) had to choose a different option. Great beer but they need to get more of it on particularly on a match day/ bank holiday weekend.

Had a surprise hen party for a friend. Food was excellent, service a little hit and miss but it was very busy. We all had a great time.

Excellent food, great staff and brilliant atmosphere. Hidden gem amongst Burnley’s nightlife. Pizza and tapas, cocktails and some reyt nice beers. Highly recommend a visit here!

We attended a family party in the upstairs area. Lovely setting, they had an ideal area for smallish gathering. Nice setting, friendly team, who were great at clearing glasses etc & keeping the room clear. My only criticism would be that they didn't seem able to provide food as you would expect for a buffet of pizza & other hot food as it came in waves . Although when it did arrive it was delicious especially the pepperoni pizza

This is the place to go in Burnley. Tapas or pizza on the menu with a great selection of drinks at reasonable prices. They do specials on football match days too. Fantastic service and great atmosphere. There was a band on at 9pm too but we left just before they started unfortunately. Very busy by the time the band was starting so they must have been good. Would certainly recommend this place for couples or groups of friends

We went on Friday 10th March for a meal. The place was freezing cold and the meal was really disappointing, we had a pizza which was good we also had 3 tapas which were really disappointing one of them being chicken which didn't taste right and we have both been really sick in the night.

The place has potential to be an excellent place to meet friends. Food and wine are fine. But.. The service spoils all what is good here. And double check your bill.

The food was good, small portions but very tasty, the bar tender very friendly, unfortunately the 2 waitresses serving us were far from friendly to the point of being extremely rude and I we wouldn't be returning.

Great food, atmosphere and drinks - a group of eight of us enjoyed the varied tapas dishes on offer, as well as a pizza - everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. Staff accommodating (including mixing cocktails that weren’t on the menu!), prompt and efficient service, and a band on after dinner! Booked to go back next month!

Had a brilliant Sunday dinner yesterday for my dad’s birthday (Lenin), with my wife and kids. Food was excellent, staff were all great and it didn’t cost the earth, would definitely recommend.

Food was brilliant staff were great, nothing to much trouble, boss doesn't seem a bad lad either. Long Island ice teas exceptional. Highly recommended.

On my arrival I was greeted by a lovely young lady and seated, we placed our order the restaurant was quite quiet all of a sudden we heard shouting from the kitchen arguing, and by the sound of it a throwing of things, made the atmosphere feel strange. Then a man came out of the kitchen he seemed stressed and frustrated. Overall, the food was really good and the service from a young girl called Darcy, would recommend the Calabrese pizza and the Long Islands!! Would recommend for food and drinks! Will be back soon :)

We had 3 courses of the week's Sunday Menu including a vegetarian option. We couldn't fault any of it! Lovely flavoursome food and the service was excellent and friendly with nothing too much trouble! We should definitely go back again!

So wonderful! Despite being fully booked they found a table for us so my husband (who is diabetic) could eat before he crashed. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! Found the Loom when looking for another place …… and so pleased we did ! Brilliant atmosphere, friendly staff , pizzas to die for and some decent beers, oh good music too. One of those places that when you leave you say I must come here again , can’t fault them!
