Very relaxing restaurant and the view at the back is lovely. The food was great and all the staff were lovely. Will definitely go again.

Lovely atmosphere, brilliant service and always delicious home cooked food. Today I was on my own, but made to feel so welcome. I had the special of the day beef brisket in a Yorkshire pudding. I’ve had many lovely meals, home made soups and sandwiches here, but this brisket was one of the most delicious tastiest meals I’ve had anywhere. I hope it’s a special again! Love this place.

This has to be the friendliest pub I have visited in many, many years. The staff are, without exception, welcoming and obliging and extremely efficient in serving with a genuine smile for the customer. The locals too are friendly and will engage an individual in conversation. Unlike the unfriendly town of Maidstone in Kent where I lived for 33 years prior to my return to Bolton last year. I look forward to patronising The Barnstormers for many years to come and cannot speak of the establishment too highly.

A double birthday meal for my wife and son accompanied with our grandchildren. What a lovely ambiance and service. The food was amazing and the staff were very friendly and attentive but not overly so. What's not to like, we'll be returning here very soon. Also a good pint of Wainwrights.

Xmas eve meal, atmosphere in the outside covered pod( well heated☺), service and value for money for the massed family group were brill👍. We expect to repeat our visit 2024 eve☺! We returned 2024. Same good quality Service and atmosphere......let's hope we return in 2025!

Found out this local pub was doing breakfasts at weekends so thought we’d give it a try. Wow! Was not disappointed, great value for money and fantastic food. Being able to choose the exact items on our breakfasts was a real positive and resulted in totally empty plates and full bellies! Will definitely be going back on a regular basis. Lovely treat for the weekends.

Firstly, the food when it eventually arrived was very nice. Chicken breast (small), chips (small), chicken gravy (pathetically small), 2 miniscule cubes of cornbread - all for nearly £14. Portion control rules here & unless you have a voucher & then still is ridiculously expensive. A sharing mixed grill was £50. Steaks not much change from £30! Jesus, it's a chain. No atmosphere at all in the Horwich, Bolton branch. 1st & very much last visit. Came home & made some toast....twas still hungry.

Great looking pub, really good atmosphere and staff were very attentive. Food was just not at the quality for the price. Ordered stir fry beef, which came with microwave rice £19 absolutely not on at all. Cocktails were awful aswell, when paying nearly £10 for a drink you expect something decent, just tasted like it had been poured from an off the shelf carton of cheap cocktail

Visted today for a family meal had a lovely meal, food came quick and tasted fab. The service was quick and made sure everything was good. Would definitely recommend.

Come here quite a bit for food and drinks, it’s a very friendly atmosphere and the locals make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and very reasonable prices and a great pint of San Miquel 🍺, the staff are always happy and go out of there way to help you with anything and everything, it is also dog friendly which is really good and has all the sports channels with plenty of tvs to watch it on so you not stuck to one place, excellent beer garden also with tv to the sports, I can’t really fault this place at all and would recommend it to everyone, 10 out 10 for me 👌

Lovely cozy cafe , within the little garden centre . I visited with my sister on a chilly day . We had lovely homemade soup with sandwiches . Best soup I've had in a while . Came to just under £15 including a drink and a brownie . It's convenient for people either visiting the neighbouring crematorium / graveyard like we were or if you're popping into the garden centre itself . Will be popping in again when the artisan markets are on ☺️
