Love this place - great food and great service and staff amazing. Love how it’s dog friendly too. We love coming here in the summer and winter alike

Took.my mother in law for breakfast on Saturday. Booked a table (definitely a good idea) for 10am and we had a lovely breakfast. The food and service could not be faulted. This place is very popular and I can understand why. We will be returning soon to try the lunch menu and I highly recommend a visit.

Delicious Indian food, very tasty. Varied menu. Friendly welcome, prompt service, good value. We were very impressed. We will return!

This has to be the friendliest pub I have visited in many, many years. The staff are, without exception, welcoming and obliging and extremely efficient in serving with a genuine smile for the customer. The locals too are friendly and will engage an individual in conversation. Unlike the unfriendly town of Maidstone in Kent where I lived for 33 years prior to my return to Bolton last year. I look forward to patronising The Barnstormers for many years to come and cannot speak of the establishment too highly.

Came here for an evening drink and a bit of atmosphere, but 45 minutes before closing, the staff went full “pub apocalypse mode” – music, TV's and lights off everywhere except a dramatic spotlight by the bar. I half expected a pub-themed episode of Survivor to start. We asked (very politely, may I add) if they could pop the music back on while we finished the pints we just bought – but no joy. The response was a firm “nah”, with the unspoken subtext of “we’re done here, mate.” One senior staff member explained, with great mystery, that they “have a business to run” – which apparently means switching off vibes well before closing time. Perhaps they’re saving on electricity to fund the sequel: The Silence of the Ales. It’s a shame – we really wanted to like this place. But if you enjoy sipping beer in awkward silence under interrogation lighting while the staff telepathically urge you to leave, this is the spot for you. We’ll stick to the other bars from now on – you know, the ones that actually like having customers. Cheers! (But quietly. With the lights off.)

Visited this evening with my partner for my birthday. Food was nice, however service was horrendous. It wasn't particularly busy however it was about 40 minutes between each course to be served. Staff were all very young and clearly couldn't be bothered. About 6 staff all stood chatting in front of our table and on their phones whilst we were waiting for empty plates to be collected, more drinks as we had empty glasses. It was clear from other tables around us that there seemed to be an issue with quite a few orders, wrong food coming out or not coming out at all. The food itself was good, but definitely won't be returning.

It was like a home away from Home. Loved the staff and service

This is the second time I’ve been to Frankie’s in recent weeks and they haven’t disappointed. The food was really good. Cooked really well. Wings although small were very tasty and succulent. The moody burger was spot on as were the fries and peri burger. It’s not cheap. But not many places are these days. BarakAllah hu feekum.

A commune for the waifs and strays of BL5 A must visit.

We visited yesterday and despite how busy it was Lucy made our evening enjoyable. Amazing service very friendly girl, had a good laugh. The food was also amazing, we will definitely be coming again!!

Really lovely cafe, staff are lovely & welcoming, the food was delicious. I think it’s quite expensive for a cafe, portion sizes aren’t huge either, slight issue with my elderly Mum only wanting a small lunch but there wasn’t any movement on the soup & sandwich deal even tho she only wanted the soup, little bit too regimented for me. That said, I think we will come back as the food was really nice.

Visited the three pigeons today lovely atmosphere I had the pork tomahawk was presented very nice and tasted amazing can’t wait to come back again
