Lovely atmosphere, brilliant service and always delicious home cooked food. Today I was on my own, but made to feel so welcome. I had the special of the day beef brisket in a Yorkshire pudding. I’ve had many lovely meals, home made soups and sandwiches here, but this brisket was one of the most delicious tastiest meals I’ve had anywhere. I hope it’s a special again! Love this place.

This has to be the friendliest pub I have visited in many, many years. The staff are, without exception, welcoming and obliging and extremely efficient in serving with a genuine smile for the customer. The locals too are friendly and will engage an individual in conversation. Unlike the unfriendly town of Maidstone in Kent where I lived for 33 years prior to my return to Bolton last year. I look forward to patronising The Barnstormers for many years to come and cannot speak of the establishment too highly.

I had a disappointing experience at Fanny's. The food was mediocre at best, but the real issue was the manager's attitude. He were rude and seemed completely uninterested in customer service, lacking basic manners. It’s a shame because the place has potential, but I won’t be returning with that kind of management in place.

Having seen the reviews we booked for 5 and was satisfied with the food . The service however was very poor. Nobody asked if we wanted drinks , we had to find someone every time. Finished plates and glasses were only taken away after we pointed it out , despite waitresses walking past several times. The wrong meal was presented to my partner who then had to wait another 15 minutes for her replacement. A drinks order was incorrect when brought to us. In summary it's the worst service we've ever experienced in an eaterie. The food was fine .

This is a down-to-earth pub in the middle of Ladybridge and we always enjoy I have a visits there. We usually tie it in with a meal at the Indian and it makes a great place for pre-and post dinner drinks. The service is fast and friendly and they have a decent range of drinks at reasonable prices. It is a family pub so can get noisy at times but this is part of the atmosphere. if sport is your thing then this could be your place as there are lots of televisions and booths to watch the Premier League football and so on. There is also a nice beer garden if the weather is good and it's worth going just to see the mural of local Bolton personalities on the wall.

Visited today with my little sister as a treat in the school holidays. I was served by 2 girls, well served is a bit of an over statement. I was treated like something they had stepped in. I used please and thank you on every request, I was met by dirty looks from head to toe. Please can I ask management why you are employing staff that don’t want to work in your establishment and they definitely don’t care about your reputation. I am a school teacher and I would never look down on anyone. To have the audacity to look down on my sister and I when they fry chicken for a living is laughable. I would not recommend this place to anyone. Maybe if you’re male and good looking you may be treated better than I? 🤷♀️😊

Come here quite a bit for food and drinks, it’s a very friendly atmosphere and the locals make you feel welcome. The food is excellent and very reasonable prices and a great pint of San Miquel 🍺, the staff are always happy and go out of there way to help you with anything and everything, it is also dog friendly which is really good and has all the sports channels with plenty of tvs to watch it on so you not stuck to one place, excellent beer garden also with tv to the sports, I can’t really fault this place at all and would recommend it to everyone, 10 out 10 for me 👌

We love this cafe. Always a wonderful friendly greeting. Such a lovely place to eat. We take our mum often and they always make a fuss of her, she's almost 100 years old and loves the soup and cuppa. The food is always tasty and well presented. Roll on our next visit.
