FIVE STAR PLACE. Last couple of months been here few times. Freshly cooked food, great staff, good atmosphere, ample parking with easy access and very CLEAN place. Credit goes to all concerned. Must visit as you ought to try big fish & chips, gammon, pasta, sizzlers and so on. Children friendly place too as kids can eat for £1.00 with every adult meal after 3pm. School holidays kids can eat for a pound as soon as it opens. Drinks are at very competitive price, good beer, shorts and soft drinks alike. My hat off to Three Pegions and their great owner - staff. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We ordered food, 5 sharers £18.50 and fish and chips £8.49. Added our £5 off voucher … bill total £32.74 !!!! Really !! When we questioned this, we were told to read the terms and conditions. The £5 could not be used in conjunction with an offer. As the sharers were on the menu at this price, never did we think it was an offer, nor were we told at the bar !!! Served by Sophie who really needs to rethink her career choice. No customer service skills what so ever ! She cleared the table we were going to sit at , but didn’t think to wipe it or move used napkins. I had to go and ask her and this was done with a face and attitude of ‘is this actually my job’ The manager (whose name I didn’t get) wasn’t much better either. I’d strongly suggest the next team training is on customer service and job satisfaction Food was Luke warm, to say the best. We absolutely will not return or recommend.

Once again we visited this public house on three separate occasions. Two Birthday celebrations and One Mother's Day celebration. It is in an ideal location near a motorway, that affords our family members to meet up occasionally. The food and service was first class. There is a new menu which offers varied meals.

Came with friends for dinner and was quiz night was a great atmosphere and the food was amazing great value for money highly recommend

Was on my way to the pub opposite with my mother, but was all closed and barrier across? My mother being disappointed we went to the place opposite, never been before, but what a lovely place, even more intimate in a booth we sat in and food was good and decent hot n warming. My mother liked it and the staff were so friendly too. So a nice new place to visit

Disgusting place. Eg plaster off the wall in large chunks was told it happened at christmas and repairs were pending. Table was so sticky and so i asked for it ti be wiped but it was no better and the waiter said they were all like that , something to do with the varnish. We went to order lunch it was early and only a handful of people in. They had no salad! They took 2 alternative orders but only one came. They said they didnt think we wanted the other meal we ordered. Part of the meal that came was wrong but we just gave up. Told the person who seemed yo be in cgarge how bad it was but he just didnt get it. We only went there because we were going to the garden centre next door. We had no car as we were dropped off otherwise we would have left. Never again would we even consider going there.

Came as we were at a nearly circus. Served by a lovely chap called Ste bald with glasses on his head. He was very professional. We had carling and strongbow. Both steaks we had were great. Ste checked back on our food with his gruff voice. Brilliant

After receiving an email offering 40% off any main meal Monday to Thursday this week, called in at 19:30, picked up a menu to browse only to be told sorry stopped serving food now... Not the best way to get customers in on a cold January night, If I'm not mistaken this is a food led pub, Total waste of time sending out discount vouchers then closing the kitchen early...

We have just had a lovely meal at this pub today, and we have to say it was excellent. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the food was excellent. The sizzling chicken was excellent, with loads of delicious vegetables. A bottle of wine for £11.99, can't be bad at all. We would certainly recommend this pub and will be returning in the near future.

Called for lunch today, not been in this place for years, but I’m glad I returned. I was greeted by a friendly chap (I assumed to be the manager) who took our drinks order. I returned to the bar to place my food and was served by an equally friendly lady. The food was superb, didn’t expect too much on the offer two for £12.50 but was delighted when it arrived. Fantastic fish and chips. We were asked how the food was during the meal, something which seems to have stopped in other places. We will definitely be returning, I can’t rate it high enough.

We came today not expecting much but we were pleasantly surprised . Since our last visit it has had a refit , we had lunch , great value golden years menu , but please could you serve mushy peas with the fish and chips then you’d be 5 stars , great brownie too , great value at £8.29 plus a pint for £1.50 . It did feel a bit cold though ( not the food the room ) friendly staff. I will definitely return at this value and food quality . Give it a try

Got here and asked what time do they stop serving food to be told they’ll let the staff know when the kitchen stops. It was 820pm. Sat down with drinks and 5mins later told that in fact food isn’t being served. We only came here for food, as we hadn’t eaten, so having to sup up fast to make it to some other place isn’t ideal at this time of evening. A bit of prior notice would of been appreciated, or a refund on at least 1 drink, rather than waste our time and money.

The food is definitely not cheap or cheerful! The starter of Doritos chicken&pork BBQ starter was a very small portion for the price and cheap pork strips. We then had the 8oz rump steak sizzler and ordered it medium, if the tough piece of meat we got was medium I definitely wouldn't have liked to have seen a well done one! Half of the hubby's was inedible and I only had one tiny taste of mine which I had to saw through and couldn't eat it there was also a very poor 'stood' portion of chips. Plus side the staff were nice and polite and the Sam Miguel good but we won't be going back.

Went in to watch the football with a friend, a great frendly atmosphere, with a lot of good natured banter. Had a great night with the locals who made you feel welcome. The place is spotless and well maintained. There was also a quiz night on ,and although we never took part it was great listening to the questions and helping the team at the next table. We had original gone to eat at the tavern over the road but as it was closed we gave the Three Pigeons a try. The pub was ok, reasonable decor and clean. We sat in the beer garden which was pleasant although some of the tables and benches had bird droppings on them. Ordered the chicken and steak combo, chicken and paper corn sauce and fish and chips, upgraded to sirloins to ensure we had didn’t get a chewy cheap cut. Meals came very quickly. No cutlery and we were told that they were near the door so went over and the containers were empty. Food was pretty poor. The steaks were very chewy, chips were Luke warm as was the sauce. Fish and chips were nice though. At nearly £50 for the three meals and soft drinks, we thought the quality could have been a lot better. Disappointing visit and won’t be going back.

We visited on a whim while staying in the local hotel. Both punters and staff were great, even with a party going the bar was well staffed and food was prompt out the kitchen. The food did leave a little to be desired but on the whole it wasn't a bad bit of grub! We were charged to change regular peas to mushy peas which I thought was a bit off, but it being a chain I wasn't surprised. Definitely would go back for a couple of pints

A ghastly experience. All the real ale taps turned round, none on. Sizzling fahitas must have been stood around as they were dry and certainly didn’t sizzle and the mac and cheese had to be sent back as it was stone cold only to be represented five minutes later having been obviously shoved in the microwave. Tatooed waitress’ manner was appalling and acted like she wished she wasn’t there. It’s no wonder foreign visitors laugh at our cuisine when this sort of service prevails.

i found this place verry disapionting the tables had not been cleaned they was sticky when i asked for the table to be cleaned it was still a mess the food was over cooked almost burnt under staffed as well i rate it 1/10 i will not eat there again

Once again we have visited this Public House for Lunch. It is a favourite place for us because we enjoy the quality food, the excellent service and its location.

Staff were fine. Ordered food which took 45 mins which was strange as it wasn't busy. One meal came 10 mins before the other two. Food was warm not hot. And £2.80 for a small bottle of coke is ridiculous.

My husband had the steak & chicken filet combo I had the surf and turf the steaks were both cooked how we like them and came with chips grilled tomato mushrooms and onions on a sizzling plate. The services was good and the staff friendly and accommodating Prices of food very reasonable and a varied menu

After passing this pub/restaurant many times we decided on a hot June afternoon to call in for an early tea. Lots of variety on the menu and my wife chose the jerk salmon while I opted for the rump and ribs. Both meals arrived within 10 minutes. Just in time to order a white wine and soda and a Guinness zero. Both plates sizzled and thoroughly enjoyed the meal. Staff were a little moody but as it was a hot day I could understand the lack of empathy and tiredness. Definitely one to revisit.

Decided to have my first pub visit since coronavirus hit. What a bad choice I made with this pub. There was no hand sanitiser on entry. The pub was very busy and there were no social distancing measures in place, the bar itself didn't have any barriers protecting the customers from the staff whom, were not wearing face masks. I asked if I could sit outside (I didn't feel comfortable with eating inside given so many people around). We were shown to the beer garden and just left there wondering why we hadn't been given a menu or anything. I used my phone to view the menu. We sat for ten minutes before going back inside to order - I was after the small nachos for one. I was told I wasn't allowed to eat outside... What pub isn't currently allowing food to be eaten outside in the open air? It's a pandemic for god sake. The girls on the bar didn't seem to see what the problem was either and one of them went in the back to ask the boss if I could sit outside with only a plate of nachos and they informed her that no one else was outside. I got the impression they knew the boss would still say no. To which, she did.And so, I had a glass of water, drank it outside and then left. My friend too only had a drink - a great dinner out. I won't be returning any time soon.

Wow well what can I say went here to celebrate some exam results as my partner had been there the week before and recommend, disappointed is not the word. first thing you notice is no face masks and no hand sanitiser offered, next thing you notice is the full on rave they must be having in the kitchen, did ask the waitress to have it turned down and was assured it would be but nope !!!!!!! Could still here it But wait there is more Ordered starters which were not value for money no sharing plates offered and bit small, portions over cooked and not delicious at all.2 mins after our starters arrived on our table out came our mains the wait staff were advised that we wanted starter then main, waiter shrugged and no apology just went back to the kitchen for the rest of the mains The food wow steak over cooked on 2 out of three of our dishes, burger like cardboard and a mega grill what a joke no corn runny sauce and egg that looked like it had been sat for months, gammon so salty and chips very pale.The only thing positive I have to say is that the waitress who served us was kind enough to make a nice plate that said congrats on, so hats off to her. Overall a place I will not visit again I wish I had said something at the Time but I was with my family and didn’t wanna make a fuss I would avoid at all costs.

Been here a couple of times before and I was very impressed, so much so that a young member of the family wanted it to be the first place she visited after restaurants reopening.This time I was a little bit disappointed, the food wasn't as good as it had previously been and a number of meals had items missed (no onion rings on one, corn missing from another etc) there where brought out when asked.The majority of the staff was really helpful and friendly, in particular the girl on the till who was patient and helpful with a big order, the male manager, however not so much, he delivered very poor customer service with a poor attitude.

Visited a few sizzling pubs that have been grubby but this one is nice and clean, service was good and we didn’t wait too long, will go back again

I didn't like the food in the past and sadly I can't say it's any better now there's a change of chain. I ordered sweet chilli crispy chicken and it was extremely hard and served on a large bed of soggy onions and mixed peppers and I'm not sure why my husband and son did not really enjoy their cheeseburger meal. Sadly we don't really want to return.

Visited in a group of 10 a few weeks back. The food is very average, it’s not expensive so I guess you get what you pay for. I had a burger and chips. It looked very unappealing and looked like it had just been microwaved. It didn’t taste much better than it looked and was very dry and bland. I had an sundae for dessert, which saved it for me. There’s nicer places in the area for a similar price and miles better standard. This place was better before it became part of the Sizzling Pubs chain.

Our first visit here was a pleasurable experience. We choose here because our local sizzling pub was undergoing a refurbishment. I had not actually realised this was a sizzling pub until driving past one day.Plenty of spaces to park although the layout of the disabled spaces is bizarre to say the least, so as it’s quiet I simply take up two normal spaces.Inside is nice and clean and the bar area tidy. The menu the same as other sizzling pubs.Ordering was simple and the staff attentive, food was served nice and hot and we were not disappointed. We shall return again as we liked the atmosphere and location and the staff were friendly.

We went for lunch and had 5 small plates for £15 to share , Garlic Bread with mushrooms & 2 Lamb Koftas plus 2 Chicken dishes one pieces & one wings . They were all very nice with our choice of sauces etc . I think there has been a change of management
