Had a great meal, with a great atmosphere, creating a great experience 😄

Called in for late lunch before a visit to clarks to buy grandson shoes. The place was very quiet. We'd obviously missed the lunchtime rush, so getting seated, no problem. A good choice of meals and advice from our waitress on allergens for our grandsons meal. Always enjoy the free salad bowl 🥗 Service was a little slower than usual, maybe staff on breaks following a lunchtime rush. 🤔

Our table and pre order was ready on arrival which was great as limited to time due to being on break from work, staff were attentive and friendly from arrival to leaving.

We had a lovely breakfast at Harvester Pub, and our experience was made even better by our waitress, Amber. She seemed genuinely happy in her work, smiling throughout the service and making us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we walked in. The food was delicious, and Amber’s positive attitude really added to the overall atmosphere. We will definitely be back!

Last week was wrong order, but this perfect this week.

Very enjoyable we enjoyed everything. The only thing I would change was the cornbread we would prefer corn on the cob.

I took my 2 grandsons out for tea. Served by Rosie. She was very attentive and nothing g was too much trouble. She had a lovely smile and I noticed she treated all her customers warmly. Rosie was very busy but she served us quickly and warmly. The food was delicious. I would definitely recommend Harvester Horwich Park Bolton.

Came in tonight to try the new menu and oh my word how fantastic it is brilliant choices. I had the corn bread (delicious) as a side order. We were served by Wendy she was her usual happy self and couldn't do enough for us,we love her she's brill. We will definitely be recommending the new menu to friends and family and will certainly be back soon

Lad that served me all night dom was absolutely class. Great service great talk absolute boss - I believe his name was dom but the one who works behind the bar needs to be told his service is great

Came in today as you have a new menu and all I can say is wow its a game changer didn't know what to try it all sounds amazing the corn bread was lovely and the hummus starters were great.

Went out for a family tea 5 people 3 children 2 adults, Was served quite promptly with drinks, waited to place food order once this was done we was told they would bring our salad bowls which we still haven't seen even after we have left. Kids meals came out then adult meal. We were asked is that everything well no its not when there is 1 adult sat there with no food. Waited atleast 15 minutes before someone came and said sorry but something went wrong with the system and they would make it, waited a further 15 minutes and no food. So once everyone had finished we got up to leave. One of the staff daid sorry about your food which tells me they was not even bothering to make it. Went to see manager who still expected full payment but in the end knocked the drinks off. This to me is an absolute joke going out for a family meal for 1 person to be left out. Wont be returningany time soon.

Great visit today at harvester food was delicious and Dominic our sever was outstanding would recommend.

Came for lunch Friday afternoon and was served by a polite young lad Dominic he was brilliantkeep up the good work.

Went for a meal on a Sunday evening and couldn't fault the service or the speed that the food was ready. We ordered Half Rotisserie Chicken and the Chargrilled Chicken Skewer both of which were cooked to perfection. Been a few times to the Harvester and would definitely recommend a meal here

I was very disappointed with our visit. We ordered 2 meals, we both had cold onion rings and chips, The pork belly was freezing cold inside despite being charred on the outside, both sets of ribs were cold too and the meal was a disaster food wise from start to finish. We travelled 30 mins past our closest harvester for this one and we wish we hadn't have visited. It was a £60 bill that we didn't enjoy paying for.

Wonderful refurbishment. Food is always high-quality and with Wendy; Lorna; James and Sam, you'll always be in safe hands. Ambience is excellent; cleanliness spotless and food cooked to virtual perfection. A warning though, DO BOOK on matchdays as it gets really busy when the Whites are at home!

Came in before a Bolton game. Lovely family atmosphere. All staff were friendly, particularly Wendy who served us. Food was really good, even with how busy it was! Would definitely come back

We used the new room at the harvester after their refurb for a party venue and it was absolutely perfect. They put on a buffet that was very reasonably priced and we had so much food compared to other venues I've used. The staff go above and beyond and let us have early access to the room as well as helping us set up. Big thanks to Wendy and Lorna who were so helpful. Would definitely recommend for the private room or to have some dinner/tea in.

I definitely recommend harvesters Horwich Fresh salad bowl and fresh bread buns with every main meal , friendly staff Dominic our server made our day he was very help full , made us laugh amazing sense of humour great service will definitely come back

The delivery was fine but all the food was lukewarm. The chips definitely weren’t the best but the salad was great. Quite disappointing.

Excellent service, we were served by Amber. Had the breakfast, as usual excellent would recommend.

Working away, popped in for some food. Wendy was my server, she is an absolute credit to your business..I noticed that she is a team coach. If the other waiting staff are half as good as she was then you'll be absolutely fine! I had the 83 combo..it was delicious..ribs fell of the bone and were melt in the mouth. The chicken and chicken gravy were to die for! Having previously been in the industry I know good friendly staff can be hard to come by..yours were brilliant from start to finish. Thanks.

Food nice except the bread rolls on the salad bar - they were hard and very dry. None of us finished eating one.

Another good visit, staff and food great. Went for the chicken Tuesday was not disappointed, great meals.

Not really the young servers fault when things are named so similar but I ordered the double dirty one and received a double dirty bird, on receiving my dish I pointed it out and it was replaced by a single burger, at which time my family had nearly finished so I took the single and asked for it to be changed on the bill. Was also disappointed to be charged for the kids desert as I thought it was included even with the kids eat free for £1 offer. Salad bar was well stocked although the pasta was dry. Chicken skewers were nice but not a lot of chicken for the price. Food was served hot and in a reasonable time.

Most of my order was fine., however Inwas disappointed with the breaded mushroom starter. I received only 5 mushrooms, some quite small which for £4.99 was less than expected and what was illustrated in the picture when I ordered them. i cannot fault the side salad at £2.99 of which there was plenty, although there was a lot of green and white onion which I had to remove.

Great honest food at a good price.

Arrived at restaurant the whole big family seated in a lovely room love the seating outside too it's a little suntrap .Took a little while for drinks as there were a lot of us and then making our minds up food wise lots of good ordered all very decent no complaints from anyone and everyone loved the salad bar .I had a chicken flatbread and my husband has gammon both very tasty family members had fish and chips burgers chicken skewers again full stomachs no complaints even the desserts were lovely the staff were great would recommend people try this restaurant.

No beans or toast ! Normally ok but big let down today !

The food was delicious and there was a nice and fresh variety at the salad bar with plenty of accompaniments. The service was quick and friendly. Will definitely be visiting again.

We’ve been here many times and it’s usually fine, but today the service was almost non existent. Extremely slow and no one bothering to attend to us. We had to searching for someone. No jacket spuds either! Food mediocre.

Great location, good food and new improved restaurant.

Nice atmosphere and very nice staff. I had a grilled chicken salad with a side of rice and beans, which was very dry. Had I known a salad bar came with every dinner, I would have chosen a rotisserie chicken dish. The chicken looked juicy and tasty. It was cosy and roomy. A perfect place for a family and a big group as well.

Bought a wowcher voucher and tried the chain for the first time in years, I was pleasantly surprised how good it was, the service and environmental is what made is fantastic, the staff couldn't do enough for us, I loved the sald bar

Two arrived on time, third late due to train issues. Staff patient & allowed us to wait. Service by all staff was faultless- checked if we wanted top up drinks while we patiently waited but not overbearing. Cleared tables promptly, checked all was ok. Food perfectly cooked & tasty. Large portions, one main & we were stuffed. Love the new colours & refurb- however, as we sat at our table near the radiator- painted & coloured to match the walls, we noted the huge amount of dirt/dust inside the radiator. Obviously cleaned & painted outside but not cleaned/dusted inside. There are brushes that can do this as we use them at home.

Food is always lovely but please don’t advertise a free salad if you are not going to supply. It’s a limited offer not a first come first served offer.

Ordered a classic breakfast and was well pleased. Bacon was of great quality with little fat and lightly grilled. Lovely flavour! Hash browns crispy and golden with great taste, not greasy. Sausages were meaty and tasty. Everything else was 100%. You can tell it was all cooked fresh and not just dumped on the plate! Well done!

Food arrives before you have finished the previous course and we all felt that we were being rushed to finish and get out.

Always a seat available. Service really quick. Sometimes a wait for food but freshly cooked mostly. Baked potato a bit cold as though it had waited for the rest to be cooked!

Great food, large portions. Be carefull if staying at premier Inn as harvester does not take the Premier Inn card but other than that a great place to eat

We had a lovely meal. The food was tasty and plentiful and well presented. The restaurant itself was busy but still felt cosy. Wendy showed us to our table and left us to browse the menu. She was very informative and attentive but didn’t pester us at all. Overall a very enjoyable evening at Harvester Middlebrook

Great food, great atmosphere, excellent service from Bex!

Had a painful experience at the harvester on Saturday Firstly our cutlery was dirty which already put us off our food. When are breakfast came out (English breakfast) it did look lovely but once we tried it the eggs were dry and crumbly, food was tasteless. I then found a hair in my breakfast which made me gag and had to send it back to the kitchen. I then had a staff member come up to me and state that it was part of the egg. I know what a hair looks like it was not a part of the egg, and where I found the hair it was no where near the egg. Once I got a new meal I asked for a drink which I was ignored and when I called for her she got very annoyed. After this nauseous meal we asked for the bill, which took 2 staff members, as we asked for the card machine but they gave us 2 copy’s of the receipt. When they finally knew to give us the card machine they had no idea how to use it. This was truly brain numbing. The only good thing about this harvester was that there was a lovely lad named luis who made sure we got what we needed. I would definitely recommend to just go to the premier inn for breakfast it’s incredible!

First day after the re-opening, amazing food. Really friendly staff. Had the Eggs Benedict, the bacon was done to perfection, poached eggs with creamy whites, great muffins and hollandaise sauce. Would definitely go again

Was due to close for a refurbished in 10 days and is needed but great staff and food was good

Staff lied about opening times in order to sit and have drinks themselves. Despite advertising 11pm closing, they clearly decide opening times based on their own needs/wants. Doors were open but unwilling to serve with no explanation as to why...teenagers - gotta love 'em!

Our server sat at quickly. We were also given enough time to look at the menu before being approached if we were ready to order. She took our order swiftly and gave us our salad bowls very quick. The meals came out in an appropriate amount of time after having our salad. The server asked if our food was okay. We really enjoyed our meals and were asked if we would like the dessert menu to which we said yes. She brought the menu over straight away and we gave her our order not long after. Our desserts arrived and we thoroughly enjoyed them. We finished and our server came to clear the table and once we asked, gave us our bill. Very lovely experience.

The only reason I put quality as two stars is that they sent the wrong chips I ordered sweet potato fries but didn’t get them. Try reading the order next time.

Called in for the first time yesterday (12/04/2024) and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. It had a nice relaxed atmosphere and the food was great but what made this place really stand out from your usual pub lunch wad our waitress Katie. She was truly outstanding. Very knowledgable when it came to the menu and was was never without a smile on her face. She couldn't have done more for myself and the kids. Thank you and we will definately be returning in the near future.

We arrived around 5pm and it was very quiet. We thought we would try again using the compensation egift card after another bad experience! The salad bar was pretty empty, the salad sauces were pretty empty. The waitress forgot to bring our glasses and salad bowls to the table so we had to ask. There was a ice cream cone at the least missing from the children dessert, and an ice cream cone and cherry missing from the sundae. We wont be returning any time soon.

we arrived at 6.20pm left @8.40 pm service poor and slow we ordered dessert while the next table were on there mains they had finished and were on there dessert before our apple pie arrived which was burnt and that hard we had to use a knife to cut it we advised the waitress that is was inedible to which she snapped off a piece of blackened crust and said yes ! no other conversation or apology I paid the bill and left
