The best restaurants in Crompton Bolton North West

I live in Ainsoworth and use to have Zuga Fun as my local Chinese which was incredible but it shut down and I’ve not managed to find a Chinese that compares since, I’ve tried fortune cookie and happy house on the same road and they’re both good but I thought I’d try Jennys based off a recommendation. Me and my partner ordered2 S+P chicken, S+P chips, egg fried rice & veggie spring rolls. Price was around £20 which is reasonable and we were told it would be ready in 10 minutes and it was!!The food was incredible! Loved every bit of it and will 100% be going back and recommending. Thankyou so much. (I was even 10p short when paying and they didn’t mind but I ended up finding the cash and leaving a tip. How lovely!

This place is usually great however the last time I visited both food and service was extremely disappointing, the lady taking our order was rude, and for our loaded chips they chucked three pieces of chicken on top of a handful of chips with some mayo. Usually the loaded chips come with chopped chicken and vegetables on the side, the presentation as well as the taste was disappointing.

Find the staff very friendly and chatty. Good selection of food sandwiches etc. Cakes great. 😊

Had an amazing day at Knowsley Safari Park! The whole experience was fantastic, but the highlights were definitely the lion enclosure and the sea lion show. The lions were incredible up close, roaming freely in their spacious habitat, making the drive-through safari an unforgettable experience. The sea lion show was just as impressive—well-trained, entertaining, and educational. The staff clearly love what they do, and it shows in how well the animals are cared for. Highly recommend a visit for a fun and exciting day out!

Popped in with daughter and grandkids hoping to get a table. Easy to order at the bar, food arrived quickly and was piping hot. Staff were freindly and helpful. Children enjoyed playing in the wacky warehouse. Food nice and well presented. Kids enjoyed the Candy Mania desserts. Thank you

Great place for food at the centre of Bolton. Staff were amazing and the food was brilliant. Location is convenient too at the centre of town centre.

We’d just arrived back in Bolton after a train journey from Leicester and fancied a late lunch cum early tea so we went into the vaults and saw Fazzes advert a happy hour set Indian set menu. It was lovely. Another one on the must go again list.

Wouldn’t bother going again. The service was shocking. There is a big banner outside which states “vegan menu now available” except when we walked in and asked we were looked at as of we’d just asked for a leprechaun to serve our food. Seen as it is marketed as a “health bar” you would expect vegan options but we decided to order anyway. I got a falafel wrap which granted was good quality and my partner ordered a jacket potato with no cheese or butter. My Dad ordered a full English and Grandad a chicken wrap. The person taking orders who I believe to be the owner was unable to listen to the full order and had to take each food item individually rather than as a list, making us feel like an inconvenience. The food took an age to arrive and when it did they were all served at different times and the jacket potato came with cheese and butter on despite it being said multiple times if we could have it without. The staff were apologetic enough but then we had to wait whilst a new jacket potato arrived by which time everyone else had finished their meals. This is in addition to cutlery on the tables being dirty and us having to get up to replace them ourselves with no apology given. It is a shame but the place seems like somewhere that is being run with staff with no experience of hospitality and no care for their customers.

Today was the first time I've visited this restaurant, and will definitely be my last...we were expected to know what to do regarding the robots...apart from a young woman, the staff are ignorant and very rude. The rice was uncooked and the donuts and chocolate cake were stale. The toilet were dirty. If you do visit this place I would recommend the warm sticky toffee pudding. And the price goes off your hight.... So if your a "short" family....make sure they adear to there rules....and only pay the lower rate 🤔 Unfortunately if your 10 year old is tall...they will have to pay full price

Service was attentive from the start and hot drinks were served quickly. Food arrived piping hot and it was beautiful. The atmosphere was lovely and the playlist was BANGING for a 90s baby, I had the best time! 🤣 couldn’t fault anything!

Here we go again! Greggs you cheeky thing, decent store this, been in a few times, often at dinner the local miscreants come I while there's a queue and pilfer sandwiches rom the fridge, non of those shenanigans today.

We called into this pub on a Friday night before going back to our hotel. There was a karaoke and to say it had a lively atmosphere would be an understatement. We enjoyed two small bottles of prosecco and the incredible atmosphere. After one drink we left as we needed the rest.
