We had a decent time at the safari park. It’s a nice experience to drive through and see the animals, although there weren’t too many of them around. The rides were fun and well-maintained, which added to the overall experience. One of the highlights was definitely the sea lion show – it was very well done and enjoyable for all ages. A good place for a family outing, especially if you’re more into rides and shows than just the safari itself.

Had the best time with my little ones here! The baboon bus is great and the wristbands for the rides are great value! We went on so many rides and the kids absolutely loved the Easter code cracking event! The birds of prey and sea lion shows are awesome and the talks about giraffes and tigers where great the guy speaking really friendly and interactive with the kids ❤️

Great place for a visit, but do not underestimate the baboons. They will find something to rip out from your car, for me if was a nozzle for rear wiper fluid. They give you appropriate warnings for everything that may happen, but I still decided to drive through the danger zone, so no blame on the park, or the monkey that's probably chewing on that nozzle now. Sea lion show was the highlight of the visit, definitely try to catch it.

We visited with our grandson. Staff were great. Animals were easily seen on the safari drive. The small fairground was perfect for younger children, and adult riding free with them a good touch. We will go again.

Who knew what a wonderful place we had on our door step! Well ok I've been here many times over the years with my own kids as they have grown. But we came here with a friend from out of town with her son and what a magical experience we had! The place was full of lots of families enjoying the day and we managed to see some great animals, from Lions to Tigers, then Bears to the Rhinos and of course there naughty Monkeys! We also got to see some lovely Tapirs and of course finished with the SeaLion show! (Save the best for last!) The team at the Safari Park were lovely especially 2 ladies called Ellie & Lyn who help run the Sealion part.

Good value, rides and animals on the walking tour is good. If you want the bigger animals go on the driving tour. There is a route you can do without going through the monkeys.

Knowsley safari park was okay! It was enjoyable trip for the kids. They found it more fun than the adults as there were animals about but I felt like there wasn’t much more. The safari park was fun, there were animals and that but it felt a bit dull in some parts. Definitely the safari park is catered for children

Grandson loved the visit. The baboons will dismantle your car, be warned. Around an hour to drive the safari then park up for a walk and food. Took a pack lunch, plenty of areas to sit. Watched the bird show and the sealions, both excellent experiences. Icecreams to finish the day. All good.

Fantastic day out with young kids. Optional extra "Baboon Bus" allows you to do the safari drive with a guided tour and with no risk to your own windscreen wipers in the Babboon area! Loads to see and do, with play parks and regular talks / shows such as the sea lion display, and the birds of prey display. There is food available on site also, plenty of toilet facilities, and some nice areas to walk around also. All in all a great day out.

Disappointing Experience – Not Recommended I recently visited this safari , and unfortunately, it was a huge disappointment. There were very few animals, making it quite boring, especially for kids. Many enclosures seemed empty, and the whole place felt neglected. To make matters worse, a lot of the facilities weren’t working. You couldn’t even get basic food or ice cream, which made the visit even more frustrating. Overall, it felt like a waste of time and money. I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone looking for an enjoyable day out.

I celebrated mothers day and had an amazing trip. Ann our tourbus guide was so fantastic, she has so much knowledge about the history of the park and animals. We learnt so much today. We didn't get to see the Giraffes but were made up to get close to the Tigers courtesy of the glass viewing points around the enclosure. The animals had plenty of land to roam. Of course we bought a few souvenirs and enjoyed the sealion show. Rodger and Arthur gave us a very entertaining show. The staff were amazing in all areas of the Park and the food was amazing.

You can go round as many times as you want , the money drive is absolutely brilliant if you don’t mind risking your window wipers 😂😂(it’s part of the experience) will sure bring you a smile watching the monkeys. It was a gorgeous day so all the animals were out within 5/6ft of the car it was amazing. Rhinos , lions , tigers, deers all sorts. It's great, only the foot safari you don't see many animals, the kids just wanted to play in the park and sand that's obviously not what you take them for 🤣 We did get to see the tiger and the sea lions but didn't watch the show. After queuing up and getting sat down the kids (4 year olds) didn't want to wait any longer and the loud music is sensory overload for them. They kept letting people in to pack the place out even 10 minutes after the show was supposed to start and telling us to move closer. We had to get out of there. Not much else to see. The giraffes we cudnt get close to. They had fun on the rides but that can be expensive too. Food is nice but they should simplify the menu it was really hectic. The best part was the train ride gorgeous views but cud be made even better with some stautes etc.

Took one of my lovely guys here today who i care for, he enjoys animals so thought this would be really beneficial, he does have learning difficulties and complex needs. The lady wouldn't do a carer fee even though I had my I.D badge and also paperwork to show he is in supported living. So he to pay full price for each of us-she did mention a nimbus card which I'll look into. The drive around the park was very dismal to say the least---the park is literally full of deer or ducks I actually thought i was at Tatton park!!!! The weather was 19degrees so not really a scorcher...but hardly seen anything....nothing 'safari' anyway. We arrived at 12.30pm and I was driving back home by 1.20pm!!!---i used to bring my kids here many years ago and used to spend a full day here. Such a shame. The guy in the restaurant was really helpful when i enquired about a wheelchair....it worked out at £30 to hire which I only needed it to go into the 2 shows. The fair was completely shut...but the area looked clean and tidy. I don't think I'll be back anytime soon which is such a shame. I hope things change for the better for this place as I've spent many school holiday trips here.

Nice animals, horrible staff and policy! Now in order to be able to be accompanied by a carer you have to fill out a huge form and submit lots of personal medical information, at the end of which your carer could still be denied the ability to come with you. This feels very close to discrimination against disabled people, which is illegal.

We visited Knowsley Safari Park on Saturday, February 15th, and what a day it was! It was half term, so our kids got in for free, which was a fantastic bonus. We were a group of four adults, and the total cost for our tickets came to £100. The lion enclosure was a highlight for everyone. Seeing the big cats lounging around was truly something special. It was exciting get up close to such powerful animals. The monkey enclosure was another highlight, they were jumping all over cars and being mischievous. food and drink stalls are available at the park, but we decided to pack our own picnic. It worked out well because we found a lovely spot to enjoy our lunch while soaking in the scenery. That being said, the food options looked good if you prefer to grab a bite on-site. For families visiting with kids, there are fairground rides available, which is always a hit! You can choose to buy a wristband for unlimited rides or get tokens for a few spins. Overall, Knowsley Safari Park was a great choice for a family day out. The combination of wildlife, fun, and a bit of adventure made for an enjoyable experience. We really enjoyed the drive in Safari, I - a grown adult, enjoyed the stickers and found it useful to track which animals we had and hadn't seen whilst we were there. We went through the trail multiple times as there were unlimited goes through the park The staff were welcoming and helpful at the check-in, pre-warning us about the Baboons and the lady who did the birds of prey display was really engaging and it was a highlight of the trip. We didn't enjoy the foot safari as much, although we had an injured party which made it more difficult to do (regardless the driven safari is undoubtedly more enjoyable). Our only issues is that not all of the animals were out to be seen during the safari (possibly due to cold weather) and having advertised that the final drive through for the safari was at 3:30pm, but at this time the animals were being put into their night time enclosures before this, so we missed the opportunity to see some of the bigger animals on our last time around.

We visited Knowsley Safari Park today to celebrate a belated Valentine’s Day, expecting to get a close-up view of the animals from our car. Before entering, we were given a sticker book to record the animals we spotted, which seemed like a fun idea. However, the actual experience was extremely disappointing. Throughout the entire drive, the only animals we consistently saw were deer. If that’s the case, we might as well have just gone to Tatton Park without paying £25 per person for entry. The number of animals we saw was very limited, and even when we did spot them, they were far away from the car. Overall, a very disappointing experience.

Absolute waste of money this place. We drove all the way from Newcastle for a half an hour experience, if that. The only decent part was the monkeys and the camels. The lions were locked up in an enclosure, so I don’t know why they are in a drive through experience. The majority of the place was muddy fields with a few donkeys. If I wanted to see donkeys, I would have went to the farm for cheaper. I don’t understand how this is a “safari” and half the enclosures were closed for a reason they haven’t stated. Don’t charge such an extortionate price for a cheap experience.

Bought tickets for the Christmas walk through, cost me around £40. Didn't last long at all, nothing fancy, just garden centre hardened plastic animals, toilets were DISGUSTING, went on 2 rides at the end as my daughter was disappointed as was I, eve. That cost £10. All in all, spent £50 and didn't really see anything. The entrance 'Knowsley' sign was dark on the road could barely see it only for the sat nav, there was no signs as you went in, just drove up to a stall with cars at it, no indication of which stalls were open to see our admission. Lady scanned and just said enjoy your evening, didn't tell us where to go so we just drove into the pitch black road hoping there would be more signs ahead. Parked in the car park, went to the vile toilets, walked towards the rides and couldn't find the entrance to the actual trail. Someone really needs to look at signage from the point of view of someone that's never been there.

Went for the Xmas light walk unfortunately out of the half dozen of these events we've attended across the years this was the worst one. There were stretches with no lights or anything to interact with, the 'winter village' was a pop up bar and eatery with what was supposed to be santas workshop but was nothing more than a shed with a projector pointed at it, which is a shame because it was the most christmassy thing there. The rest of the walk was a couple of garden centre lights up animals and a handful of lit up trees, many of the overhead trail lights weren't working which made it feel like a dank, dark walk through a cold wood. There was a small fair on site but is charged extra on top of your tickets. Won't return for this event in the future.

So to then be charged for a couple kids rides just peed me off. Just add the price into the entrance fee. Then we don't feel like we are now being ripped off. Otherwise love coming here with the kids.

We was here on Sunday, 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food lasagne, gammon, cheese pie, fish n chips, and 2 roast beef dinners It is not the cheapest of places but the service is good and it has a nice feel about it If you are thinking of going check that it is open first, as it is closing on Sunday 21st May and will be taken over by new people so not sure when it will open again Would I go again ? Yes I think I will give it a go whe it reopens to see what it is like John

Fish was terrible, just mushy, like it had been frozen and defrosted multiple times. I highly doubt it was haddock as well, absolutely no taste to it. Chips were fine as were the gravy and peas but won't be coming back. Used to be so much nicer.
