This is an ice cream shop based in a farm on the edge of Winter Hill. Family friendly location that is the best place to stop by after a long scenic walk. Located in arguably the most beautiful place in Bolton where after a nature filled walk you are welcomed to come sit down, have a chat, relax, have a drink and an ice cream and take in the surroundings. They supply a large selection of Fredricks of Chorley's ice creams. I had a very good salted caramel one.

Fish was terrible, just mushy, like it had been frozen and defrosted multiple times. I highly doubt it was haddock as well, absolutely no taste to it. Chips were fine as were the gravy and peas but won't be coming back. Used to be so much nicer.

We was here on Sunday, 6 of us and we all enjoyed our food lasagne, gammon, cheese pie, fish n chips, and 2 roast beef dinners It is not the cheapest of places but the service is good and it has a nice feel about it If you are thinking of going check that it is open first, as it is closing on Sunday 21st May and will be taken over by new people so not sure when it will open again Would I go again ? Yes I think I will give it a go whe it reopens to see what it is like John

Who knew what a wonderful place we had on our door step! Well ok I've been here many times over the years with my own kids as they have grown. But we came here with a friend from out of town with her son and what a magical experience we had! The place was full of lots of families enjoying the day and we managed to see some great animals, from Lions to Tigers, then Bears to the Rhinos and of course there naughty Monkeys! We also got to see some lovely Tapirs and of course finished with the SeaLion show! (Save the best for last!) The team at the Safari Park were lovely especially 2 ladies called Ellie & Lyn who help run the Sealion part.
