I rang up just about 5 pm to book a table for 7 30 , very pleasant on the fone. I went with a good friend. From when we walked in till we left , the staff were polite , friendly. When we ordered our meals , the appitiser came out with in 10 minutes, and just as we had finished that the starters came out , wen we finished them we had to wait about 15 minutes for our mains as they were freshly cooked . Well worth a revisit sometimes in the future

The food is nice and staff are friendly But the hygiene standards let the place down. Dogs are allowed which we don’t mind . But people with dogs letting them sit on the seats it’s disgusting one person had a two dogs sat them on the seats and but dog food and a bowl of water on seating. Where customers sit .saw more than one person do this .tables dirty and chairs desperately need recovering. .

Its years since our last visit and apart from the ice cream parlour side being closed the quality and service is still as good as it ever was....I think the fact it is still in essence a family business shows in the staff who despite being young seem well trained and knowledgeable ....but its the Quality of the ice cream that is the main star...just the best ingredients and you stick to Vanilla its obviously a recipe for success....Dont ever change

This is our third visit to Amaro and yet again we were not disappointed. The menu is excellent and staff are brilliant. They cater to my daughter's gluten free needs and their gluten free garlic bread is particularly tasty. We will always return here for a meal, never disappoint

A family-owned Italian restaurant with a service in the style of McDonalds. Often quicker to turn over a table than to serve the ones already there. Two chefs at peak time on a Saturday night putting one dish through the pass at any one time. Loud groups of people and cramped back to back seating. Needs some work.
