I was pleasantly surprised by how spacious this restaurant is, we went on a Saturday evening and the atmosphere was great. The service was excellent and the food really fresh and tasty. I especially recommend the Calamari, it was probably the best Calamari I’ve had in Manchester.
14 Birley St, Blackpool, FY1 1DU, United Kingdom, England
Had a good breakfast menu and good value to boot
Kids loved milkshakes and wife loved veggie breakfast
Jumbo breakfast was very nice
Only bug bear is not many cafes in Blackpool bring toast pre buttered
Overall very happy cheers JKs Cafe would recommend
Myself and my partner love visiting Hamayuu every time we are in Chester. Lovely service and brilliant food, we especially appreciate the number of vegetarian options they have on their menu. The bento box is a real treat as well because it's hard to choose what to have on the menu when you want to try everything! Also the mochi cheese cake is delicious 😋
This place is a dream! Full of books of whatever you want, records and even CDs.
There are 2 floors, a ground floor and a basement full of things and with very good prices. There are even very cheap new books.
The cafeteria is super nice, the food is very delicious.
Everyone's attention is super friendly and attentive.
I loved the place and plan to return.
Absolutely love it in here! One of Manchester’s hidden gems. I say hidden, it’s not far off Deansgate, but we’ve never come across it until now.
We visited on a Saturday in Feb, in the early afternoon. We hadn’t booked ahead, but they were able to accommodate four of us for drinks.
I would absolutely recommend booking though to save disappointment since there were quite a few people turned away after us, that didn’t have bookings.
Fantastic atmosphere and amazing staff. The “door staff” were some of the best I’ve ever seen. They were absolutely on it. Straight to the customer as soon as anyone walked down the path. Firm but very polite.
The team waiting on, and the bar staff were also very attentive, professional, yet still very warm and welcoming. Some of the best service we’ve had in a bar recently.
Cocktails were bang on - tasty and well presented - and I thought Schofield’s was reasonably priced for the high quality and location.
Love the fact the beer is served in Schooners, much preferred to pints, but you do have to drink more of them. 😂 The Guinness was on good form the day we visited. 🤪
There were plenty of bottles of tap water around too without having to ask.
Hoping to revisit again soon … but will book first! 🍻
