Food is really poor,rude staff,I use to come here years ago and the food use to be excellent,they have really gone downhill

A beautiful evening spent in a lovely place. The staff were attentive without being over the top. The food was beautiful, both in ascetic and taste. Highly recommend the teriyaki beef and the lasagne. Perfect end was the calypso coffee and brandy. Many thanks to all of the the staff, front of house, and those in the kitchen. Oh and the cocktails were top notch 😉.

We have eaten in plenty of cafés over the years and I must say this has to be one of the best! The staff are so welcoming, friendly and very professional and the food is exceptional - from presentation to the wonderful flavours. If I could give The Green more stars then I would.

First visit today, as for the first time there was availability...its always very busy. After having lunch, we can understand why there is never a spare table. I had the ham hock and smoked cheese toasties which was served with a colourful side salad and delicious homemade coleslaw. My wife had the homemade cream of broccoli soup with a warm ciabatta roll (there was a choice of two different soups on the daily specials board). We also had a cappuccino and an iced latte. The cafe is spotlessly clean and the staff were all very pleasant and polite. There was a display cabinet of delicious looking cakes and sweet treats. We must come back to sample some of those.

Had cake and coffee special choose homemade scones with jam and clotted cream was really nice, good service and cosy armchairs, my friends dog had cheese dog biscuits, all food looks lovely friendly staff, look forward to going back.

Owners are really friendly, always have a nice new selection everytime.
