The best restaurants in Norton North Stockton-on-Tees North East

Been following this page for a while now and drool when I looked at all the cakes, but living in Essex was too far for me. Can you imagine my delight when I discovered they were doing online orders delivered to your home. Well first box arrived on Friday and did not disappoint these cakes are gorgeous, cherry Bakewell brownie is my favourite from the 6 we ordered, Grandson's is the Oreo brownie. They are all so tasty. Now the dilemma is what do we order for the next batch!

Just had an absolutely gorgeous Sunday lunch followed by apple crumble and custard , piping hot food all cooked to perfection at a very reasonable price , we will be returning thanks Hambletonian 😁

Got Fish Pattie and chips large curry sauce and a scraps Outstanding all cooked perfect perfectly and delicious That’s why I travel 3 miles plus to go to The Silver Cod

Been a couple of times and won’t be going back. Front the outside looks like a up market coffee / brunch place. The prices also suggest it’s upmarket. But inside, it like a greasy spoon. The place needs better ventilation, i absolutely stank when I came out of fried food. Also it’s quite expensive for what it is. Always people in, so they are doing something right. Just disappointing with it being on the high street and it not matching the butchers type of quality. Would I go back? No.

First and foremost I would like to say the cafe is called POND VIEW NOT KINGS COFFEE. The staff were very friendly and the coffee excellent. We didn’t have to wait long to be served . I think this review should go under Pond View cafe not Kings coffee

I’ve been twice now and both times the food has been delicious - it’s fresh, tasty and something different. The cocktails are also lovely. Would recommend!

Been around for decades. Ordered recently and it’s just as I remembered - like a taste of the 00’s. Super greasy (garlic butter 👌) and stacked with cheese.

Visited with a group of couples (ages 50>60), staff were fine ,wasnt that busy but no seats available , no matter where we stood, this "manager"type fellow, tattoos, beard,(tattoos are not a good look on managers)constantly told us to move, and at one point manhandled one of our female party, bordering on assault. When we complained , he radioed the bar and instructed the staff not to serve us anymore!we'd been in about five minutes! He clearly hasnt got the aptitude to manage ,and should be given a task to keep him occupied, pot washer or kitchen porter is maybe more his level, as manager is clearly above his station . A complaint will be going into head office to follow this review up. As the HL seems to go through managers like i go through socks, i cant see him being there long . Avoid this establishment if you want a relaxing drink . Staff should be seen and not heard.

Dropped in for a late breakfast on a Saturday morning, lucky to get a table as it was almost fully booked. Sat outside which was no problem as the weather was fine. Ordered the full breakfast and the wife had the poached eggs. Had a small but not unexpected wait for our food to arrive as they were extremely busy, but we were in no hurray. Always happy to support local businesses that produce good food with good service.

Past few times have ordered from here and every single time the order is wrong asked to speak to manager asked for refund and got told to send food back they don’t do free food! when I wanted a refund for the items missing on my order when it clearly states on the app that I ordered it! Real poor service!

Two nights in a row missing chips and curry sauce from our order when rang said they could send it out again or at a later date. Rang to do so a few weeks later to be told it’s only one portion they’re willing to give us and I have to pay delivery despite it being their error in the first place!! Lowest customer service possible won’t be using again out of principal
