Mystic Bites in Stockton-on-Tees

Past few times have ordered from here and every single time the order is wrong asked to speak to manager asked for refund and got told to send food back they don’t do free food! when I wanted a refund for the items missing on my order when it clearly states on the app that I ordered it! Real poor service!

I ordered from Mystic Bites for first time, via Just Eat. My parmesan was excellent, best one I've had in ages! I will go to Mystic Bites again.

Avoid like the plague …. Total useless muppets who can’t even deliver , absolute waste of time … don’t even bother

food was ok but every chip i bitten into grease would come out every single chip other then that was quite nice and prices have gone up quite abit.

1st time order from here. Collected from shop very busy with deliveries. Chicken parmo original and hot sho parmo with chips and salad. Parmos were fab really nice chicken breast. Salad was good and better than other takeaways. The only let down were the chips poor quality please review the product you use

Pre ordered food for 7:10 as surprise for someone, it came 40 mins early meaning the person who it was for was not it due to it being a surprise, this meant the food was stone cold by the time it was meant to be here for when we rang the lady on the phone was incredibly rude and didn’t offer to send new food out to begin with, all we were offered was a discount for next time this was also after overhearing her talking to someone In the background rudely about us, she was then told we would not be returning and to forget the discount, we then had to microwave the food in order for it to actually be edible, we then got a phone call back after saying if we wanted a refund or new food we had to return the food we had been given (which we already had to start eating what we could after microwaving it) Don’t understand why they would want food back that has been opened during a global pandemic anyway not very safe or hygienic will not be returning and neither will any of our families 100% not worth the money and the customer service is disgusting!

We had pre ordered it to come for 7:10 as we were out till 7 , it came at half 6 and my friends partner had to take the food off them. We got in at 7 and the food was freezing we rang the shop and they had a disgusting attitude and was not bothered one bit that the food was cold. After putting the food in the microwave they then rang again 10 minutes later saying they can send us more food out and replace it with a awful attitude. Why would we want more food after eating half of it? If they told us the first time we rang about sending more food out then fine but they didn’t? Awful customer service would NOT recommend. Would rather put a 0 star but naaa

We were out at the delivery time and they handed the food over to my friend’s partner who told the driver that the food was too early to which he responded “yeah the shop f*cked up”. Was told to take the food anyway, when we finally got home at 7pm the food was stone cold. We rang the shop hoping for someone to replace the food or provide a refund, but they were rude and belligerent during the call resulting in my friend ending the conversation as we were getting nowhere. They eventually rang back and told us if we wanted new food, or a refund, we would have to hand the food back over. We had already touched the food and were heating up what we could (we were obviously hungry). It tasted disgusting and we barely managed to eat it. Total waste of money, and I think it’s disgusting that a food company would want to take food back that has been touched during a global pandemic? Will never order from here again and neither will any of our families.

You wait a while to be served but at least you know the food is fresh. I had the nicest chicken wrap, it has salad inside with choice of sauce, I had garlic mayo. The wrap is really light. Served with chips and just £4.50Very filling.

Love ordering my food from here. Food is so hot and fresh , they will ammend your order if you dont want salad or dips. And will add extra toppings if requested staff polite and friendly. And good delivery service .

Food was disgusting. Definitely not worth what you pay for, would not recommend to anyone.Was told food was ‘en route’ and within 45 mins (even though it’s located 10 mins away) it still hadn’t arrived so was not surprised when it came stone cold. The cheesy garlic mushrooms literally left a pool of grease on my table and the cheese was cold and not melted. The cheesy bolognese chips were probably the biggest regret of my entire life- not sure exactly what the ‘bolognese’ consisted of, the cheese was again cold and not melted and the chips were rubbery and inedible. The pizza was average but probably still overpriced. Overall, a complete waste of money.

Initially the driver went to the wrong address and kept asking us to stand outside, then the restaurant hadn't sent half our food, we called to complain and it took another 45 minutes for the rest of the food...it wasn't really worth the wait! The parmo's were very nice and we got a free pizza for our troubles but the chips were poor and we probably wouldn't order from here again!

Never ever had a bad meal from here, usually order the chicken special kebab which is lovely and proper chicken breast pieces, salad is always fresh and the chilli sauce is good, my son has pizzas which he likes and last night tried chicken Parmesan, better than places I've gone for a meal at.Always friendly delivery driversNo complaints here :-)

Food arrived to the time stated. However I ordered a Bolognese pizza with chips and the pizza came with no chips. Rang the shop and they sent them out straight away. Apart from that everything was to a good standard.

I would give this takeaway 0 stars if possible as our food never turned up and they still took the money out of my bank.

Ordered a chicken tikka special when I got it home no donna meat ☹ guess the extra 30p I paid for it was actually for the half tub of chilli sauce eh? So so disappointed u guys are usually spot on

I ordered parmo pizza and a portion of chip and a portion of kabab meat the meat wash like sand paper and cold the chips where half cooked and the pizza looked like it had been stood that long the cheese was hard on the top the base was cold it was just awful its disappointing because my sister and my mam and a few of my friends told me it was a fantastic place to order and they never have problems I left everything

Food arrived in record time but was barely warm and tasted plastic. Mega kebab was anything but mega. chicken was burnt, 2 pieces of shish which couldn't even bite, pretty sure donner meat was from day before and chips were cold

I wanted the jalapeño bites.. I ordered those.. Amazing.. Ordered a burger to make up the rest of the delivery... Also amazing although I only had a couple of bites.. Cause I only made an order for the jalapeño bites tbh... £2 for delivery is pretty shocking though.. Apart from the delivery charge everything else is top notch!! Seriously though.. £10.10 for jalapeño bites hahaha... Ordering extra and paying delivery charges for the best thing I've tasted..

Not sure why, but everything tasted like vinegar. Taste passed after a while but it was very strong on opening the boxes. Otherwise quality was good, but I don't think I will order again. Sorry.

Pizzas a are similar to the ones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Say no more.

I decided to order a second day in a row while I'm in the area. Just perfect always. I've lived all over the UK but this is my favourite takeaway. If reminds me of one I used to go to with my friends after college. Really great food and lovely staff. :)

I wasn't feeling very well today so treated myself to a takeaway. I asked for the chips to be extra crispy and they were perfect. Delivered piping hot by a really nice friendly guy too. Super happy, thank you :)

Got a parmo pizza , it was unreal ! Best I've had in a long time !

Ordered at 7.30. Said it would be delivered by 8.55, which in itself is a long time to wait for food. Can't review the food as it's still not here yet at 9.20!

I have been up most of the night with a really painful tummy! I actually thought they were Italian, obviously not! 😣 they were well I don't know who but false advertising, and really horrible food especially the kebab was disgusting!. Will not be ordering there ever again! Waste of money, because I flung the rest! 😣

Quick delivery but other than that food was awful. Chicken kebab was chewy and dry and exspensive for a large which didn't include chips, free pizza with orders over 15 pound however forgot to send this then when it did get delivered was burnt and not very nice. Wouldn't eat here again

Delivery price to expensive as I live round the corner,maybe think about putting it on orders so far away?
