Express Pizzeria in Stockton-on-Tees

Order taken nearly an hour and a half, arrived incorrect and cold. Had to ring 3 times and Shop refused to admit the order was wrong and offered no apology. Complete waste of money whole order thrown in the bin

Worst food ever waited 2 hours and ended up bin it

Used to be great, but in the last couple of years it's really gone downhill. Pizzas are smaller and barely have any toppings, salad looks days old and there seems to be a theme of cost cutting with ingredients and quality. If that wasn't bad enough they've now got a poster for the Tory mayor in their window.

Was fine but more expensive than what we usually pay. Cost at least £10 more than what we normally pay at the place we usually go to but it was okay

Couldn’t fault the parmo at all but chicken wrap was like eating rubber burnt to a crisp with no flavour and a splash of salad to say the least! Unfortunately let it down for me :(

Ordered food at 4.45, now its 6.05 and no sign of it coming....

Great takeaway in Norton Highly recommend the chicken Parmesan and pepperoni pizza. My son had a chicken kebab and it was tasty

1st time ive ordered food from here and it will be the last. I called to place my order and went to pick up 2×12 inch pizzas and they were thin with barley anything on them and like cardboard and very greasy. 1 pepperoni and a donner meat. The donner meat was placed on top of a margarita and it was cold

2 occasions now placed an order and they've closed early will never try or use again

Takes about 3 years to arrive on a serious note we waited 2 hours for mediocre barely warm food threw most of in the bin.

Got 2 Pizzas and Garlic Bread last night and they ended up in the bin as were over cooked so were very dry and tasted burnt. Spoilt the evening. Chips were lovely though which is why I gave 2 stars not 0.

I ordered food from here through Uber eats and it never arrived and when I tried to call them no one answered plus it took then a week and a half to refund me for my order

Food was barely warm will not use again!

Twice i have used this place and both times the food has been luke warm and tasteless. The first time I thought might just be an 'off'week but last night was not nice either. And I was up in the night with a bad stomach. Never again will I use them

I ordered a hot and spicy salami and chilli pizza from them. It was extremely greasy - horrible, oily ‘mozzarella’ - which I doubt had any dairy products in it at all - (probably a fat replacement product vegetable oil based, rather than dairy). I have never tasted such a greasy pizza in all my life! It was like it had been dipped in oil - absolutely disgusting! There was far too much cheese on the pizza and hardly any topping! The best bit, was a couple of bits of salami and the chilli! I would NEVER buy a pizza from them again! I wouldn’t care, I had burritos from them a few months ago and they were really nice and I enjoyed them.

Not the same ! pizzas are soggy by the time you put the the pizza in your mouth it slides off and your left with a soggy base no good👎

The can of coke was the best bit! Would not order anything wrap wise that has the ground or spicy beef in it because its literally just chopped up burger in a wrap! Better off just getting a burger and not paying £6.20 for it!

Always been impressed by the service and food before. However, I ordered food at 5:30 and still waiting at 9:15. I appreciate how busy take aways must be at the moment, but have called twice and told will be 10 minutes, the last time was about 40 minutes ago and can't get through now

Placed an order for delivery tonight at 6.15pm we were told it would arrive at 7.30 or there abouts it is now 9.30pm and we still have not got our food.

To much pizza sauce and to much cheese on the pizza kabab meat was to thick and not greasy enough the garlic wasn't strong enough it tastes may mayo so I put the "garlic" in the trash

Not good! I used to order from here religiously. It was the best around by far but standards slipped so i stopped. Tried it again tonight for old times sake.. the parmo which was once thick succulent chicken turned up thin and dry! The donner pizza was literally a margarita which looked like someone had accidentally dropped a few pieces of donner on top.. this shop has always been slightly more expensive than most but was once worth it.. sadly not anymore! Shame really!

Very good takeaway. Food is always freshly baked so might be a wait sometimes but not a problem if not in a hurry. Best to phone up and place order then decide whether to collect order yourself or get home delivery. Always been told, when placing order, how long it will take to be ready but never had to wait too long if selecting home delivery, usually within the hour latest.

I have been using this pizza shop for years. The food has always been of good quality and presented well (even though it's on a box lol) but for some reason, lately it's gone down hill. I have just received a chicken parmo and the edges of the chicken are so over cooked it's burnt black. There is to much sauce and nowhere near enough cheese. The kebab meat is cheap and full of hard bits and practically raw, which makes us think as to what they are and the salad is like, the cabbage is rubbery and the lettuce is brown at he edges. I'm not one for leaving bad reviews but I'm so disappointed I have no choice. When I phoned to complain the staff had a bad attitude and didn't want to know. Sorry people but it has literally gone to the dogs! Please sort this out as I'm a loyal customer as are my family. Sort your food out and have a better attitude and you will make so much more money. That place is a gold mine and your messing things up. People of Norton dont want food poisoning, they want good food and we are willing to pay that bit more for good quality food. Complain at your own risk, the staff were nasty and aggressive over the phone, and trying to offer me half of the value of what I paid for the takeaway. Not good

Pizza base was sloppy and soft... The quasadia was aweful.. Nothing like how it should be nearly broke my teeth on the chicken it was so dry and overcooked

one lad very aggressive indeed didn't shout the order properly then cried when stressed shame on the rest of the team. Food not that great either

I use this takeaway regularly I’m slowly going through the menu Parmos spot on 👌 pizzas perfect but my favourite at the moment is the cheesy garlic bread to die for 🤗 but go in the shop and order you get it hot and tastes delicious 😋

Called after a couple of cheeky one's in the spoons over the road the kids and extended family loved it food was so good we have to travel back over that way again bless them we were about a pound short they let us off just reminded me tonight kids eh dad any chance getting pizzas from that place in Norton

Under-cooked Parmesan one Friday night made both of us ill for a couple of days. Wont be visiting again and found a new place.

I've used these a few times and they've made mistakes every time and when I call them they don't even say SORRY !!!!!!! TBF the food is ok but the service is poor. Prices ok but the customer service is really bad. I WILL NEVER US THESE AGAIN.

Ordered a meat feast calzone and a bottle of coke , I got two 1.5 lts and 2 cans and my calzone and the calzone was like a leg off a fat baby pig full of meat succulent as hell and mouth watering , the Italians would of been proud of this invention , as I took my first bite I felt like god himself was letting me into the pearly gates I will forever order these calzones form the best pizza shop in this universe. Express never fail to deliver on amazing pizzas. The service is spot on and when we request delivery, they are always on time, if not a little earlier which is always welcome!! Definitely the best pizzeria in Norton.

Pedimos el calzone y fue el más extraño que he cata de pizza lo intentaron. Fue un fuerte sabor, probablemente de un hinojo salami, pero era horrible. Estaba lleno de salsa de tomate, queso de sándwich muy poco y la base era difícil. El parmo era tan finas que era duro, recocido y salsa de queso o muy poco. Vemos la tienda tan ocupados que intencionadamente nos dieron una noche mala. No merece la pena arriesgarme de nuevo se ve en la calle en el futuro.

I always order a 12" explosive pizza. Delish and recommend them. Just a shame they don't deliver to thorpe thewles as I always have to drive in and get it

Dios mío. Este ha sido mi favorito de todos los tiempos "el capricho" para comer. Hemos tenido algunos problemas como órdenes equivocada, etc. Tuve algunos wonderings como su Pollo no sabían bien, pero bueno, yo iba a ellos, así que me engañe, nunca haber sospechado insectos ni nada para que el tema se puede aparecer haciendo el puré de tomate a través. Me parece que es una travesura o quizás este insecto tiene, como insectos que en! ! Aunque esta historia ya pasó, hemos encontrado que tiene solo un 1 para la limpieza? ! ? ! WTFFFFFF? Aún no MUERTO BUTIM este lugar ha sido un favorito para muchos de los miembros de la familia durante años,,,,,, pero ahora voy a ser cuidadoso, pero dar una oportunidad este nuevo

Top kebab best I've had for a good while

I have been a regular customer of these for a long time, some times all takeaway places get things wrong, bit late, and such, but of late they have gone downhill, continualy getting orders wrong, often items missing. Today was the worst one yet it was disgusting. Most of the order was stone cold, at least half of the chicken I had was chewy and a horrid taste to it. The salad boxes of which we had multiple were about a quarter full. Enough is enough we will never order from these again.

Como clientes habituales hemos estado yendo a este llevar durante más de 7 años y siempre pensé que la gente y la comida era encantador. Por desgracia nuestras opiniones han cambiado durante el último año o así.La comida no es tan bien preparado, a veces tanto secos o ligeramente quemada, las fichas una vez crujientes y doradas son ahora pasada y 'beige'. La ensalada solía ser servido en un recipiente separado para mantenerlo fresco solo enterrada bajo el resto de su comida lo que pasada también (incluso cuando solicité que se separados).Excelente atención al cliente una vez ahora muy pobre, con órdenes mal ser llevado por teléfono en un par de ocasiones y no encontrar salida hasta que se abra. Cuando quejándose, personal pidiendo 'si está seguro de que lo que pensamos que pedimos había pedido". . . . ven. . Quizás un error una vez, pero no 3 veces! Muy paternalista. . No somos delincuente! No podría importar menos si te quejas o, en una ocasión, después de lo mal otra vez esperamos más de una hora, hasta que nos trajeron la comida correcta, teniendo también la incorrecta una distancia con ellos. No son mentirosos y bastante pensamos que este bastante raro. . Qué vamos a hacer cuando con él?Nos gusta comprar a empresas locales, pero ahora hay un montón de otras competencia en Norton y alrededores y si quiere mantener a sus clientes lo mejor de su capacidad. su juego Por desgracia, son uno de sus clientes regulares ahora perdido.

Absolutely disgusting, food was over an hour after quoted delivery time, I appreciate they're busy but original delivery time was just over an hour. Food was freezing cold when it reached us, tried to ring a few times before delivery and was fobbed off. I will never order again.

Just moved into village, household of pizza eaters, trying out the most local first. Placed simple order, didn't understand delivery address and got wrong order , chicken doesn't sound much like bolognaise.. won't be ordering again

Really good value takeaway / delivery Pizza place. Wouldn't bother with the big chains If you're around here. Half the price and just as nice, tomato garlic bread a long standing favourite, and Tandoori chicken pizza, shouldn't work, but it does :)
