We ordered a pork and a chicken Sunday lunch with apple crumble for dessert.They arrived early in bulging polystyrene boxes. They were red hot. There was plenty of meat, two roast potatoes, mashed potato, two Yorkshire puddings and five vegetables. It came with extra gravy and custard. It was like Grandma had resurrected and decided to make us dinner, having learned more about vegetables in the afterlife. We loved it. We couldn't finish the main, but that just left space for the gorgeous crumble. I would recommend. Bring on next Sunday. I'll have recovered by then

Always a warm welcome off the Barmaids and the rest of the staff. Always a smiling face. Especially like the Pool table and Pool Hall. DJ can sometimes be canny lol

Turned up earlier than expected was greatest by friendly staff. Table was small for just 2 people but hey ho, once seated a waiter came over and took mine and my wives orders. Bottle of wine and a nelson Mandela (Stella) Starters came. Calamari & potato skins Both 10/10 can't go wrong After we indulged in our Italian starters the plates were quickly swept away by a waitress, within a couple of minutes our mains had arrived. Somewhat to quick from just digesting the starters but each to there own. Mains now. Half and half (got to keep the wife happy) Steak pizza Parmesan chicken pasta Pizza was perfect though my moaning murtle of a wife said it tasted burnt. Pasta was easily one of the nicest I've ate locally in my 55 years of presence. We waited a mere 3 minutes which felt like eternity and had to barter a waitress to supply our demand for parmesan and black pepper, which our wishes were granted. Bill came swiftly after washed down with a shot of baileys courtesy of the staff at Mambo II Highly recommend for local foodie and travellers. Please find images attached

Excellent service friendly staff

Fish & chips. First time trying, will be the last unfortunately. Everything was overcooked, mushy peas were tasteless. “Jumbo” fish, nothing jumbo about it at all. Fish didn’t taste very fresh. One of the staff was just stood on his phone the whole time I was there. Had to go outside as the whole place was so smokey. Won’t be returning.

Always go here but tonight was a horror. Two and half hour wait for food. Finally get food and it wasn't what was requested. Stone cold and taste was non existent. Shocking!!

We've visited a couple of times when in the area. The food has always been of good quality and well presented. The decor has changed since we last visited which is tasteful and in keeping with the theme.

Took an hour and a half, turned up cold and congealed. I'd be embarrassed to serve this crap
