We ordered a pork and a chicken Sunday lunch with apple crumble for dessert.They arrived early in bulging polystyrene boxes. They were red hot. There was plenty of meat, two roast potatoes, mashed potato, two Yorkshire puddings and five vegetables. It came with extra gravy and custard. It was like Grandma had resurrected and decided to make us dinner, having learned more about vegetables in the afterlife. We loved it. We couldn't finish the main, but that just left space for the gorgeous crumble. I would recommend. Bring on next Sunday. I'll have recovered by then

Just ordered food via Justeat, its arrived and I tried to search the Internet to find a phone number for you guys, yet the kitchen has little Internet presence, and the pub doesn't seem to have a contact number... anyways, the mussels on the pizza were off, which has ruined the full order! So not only have I got food I can't eat, I've got no way of telling you, you got it wrong... bad bad bad service!

Avoid this place ,I wont be ordering again,I got 2 Sunday dinners 8 pound each one came with no meat. It had smash for mash potatoes, frozen veg watery turnip looked like soup absolutely terrible the meals would of cost a pound at the most to make

Lovely landlady and a nice little pub x

The food was lovely and really good value. They didn't have the beer in I used to drink in there before it was taken over so that was a shame but that's just personal taste. Spot on. They've done a great refurb on it, it's kept the old boozer charm but used clever design to update it a bit as well

Great service and entertainment and lovely pizza's too

I was very surprised, I was not looking for a cheaper meal to be honest, but I came across the 2 course special and thought I'd give it a try. I ordered the soup (which was home made) and penne carbonara with a side order of nachos so for less than £14 including delivery, I was extremely pleased. The food was early, the delivery driver polite and the food red hot. The nachos were smothered in chili and cheese, not how I normally like them (i'm more of an American cinema style nachos girl!) but couldn't complain, very tasty and because of the quick delivery time, the nachos were still crispy. Soup was very pleasant, creamy tomato - with bread too. The carbonara was very nice - plenty meat and nice and creamy and a decent size portion. Good quality and value as well as good service!

Fantastic .one of the best pubs ever

Absolutely lovely food, and the staff, I don’t know where to start. The kindness they showed us was amazing. It was my nephews 18th birthday, and they helped make it the best. Thank you so much. If your after a proper nice bar, run by nice people with nice customers, this is the place.

Friendly atmosphere, newly refurbished, lunch deal perfect as was the food, found nothing wrong so had to be 5 stars. Well done team!! Will I visit again YES definitely. Local to me so perfect!
