Delicious Sunday lunch, Lamb rump was soo tender . Excellent customer service. We both left totally stuffed and will definitely be returning . This is now our go to for our Sunday dinner

Just had a fab meal in Mambos. Food was spot on and the service was second to none. The only I could fault was the temperature. It’s was nearly very cold by the end of the evening. We left aro 9.30pm but it was chilly in there. Anyway, to get back to the food. It as just great and attention to detail ie my hate of garlic was great. The potato skins and dip were to die for and then the sea food pasta was just gorgeous. Great night out and lovely place. Thank you Mambos and lovely staff in Hebburn xxx

Lovely cosy atmosphere, delicious food and excellent service. Perfect for a catch up with friends or family. The fillet steak pizza and lasagne were the perfect comfort food on a wet winter's night.

All good Italian experience. We ordered online and collected at the agreed time. The 2 course special is worth a visit.

Probably one of the blandest Sunday dinners I’ve had. We normally order from Mambos Express but we decided to go with Mambos 2 as it’s local. The beef was processed, veg arrived stone cold and had to be reheated / was tasteless and the chicken had absolutely no flavour whatsoever. Will just stick to express in future as it is tastier and fresher.

Went for dinner with my friend tonight - was sat right next to small party . Kid screaming down the restaurant and playing loud games or a video , I don't understand why they had to keep teasing the kid and making him scream . So irritating to have to sit and listen to that all meal . As for the meal . Don't get meatballs - discussing. 6 quid for 3 tiny meat balls and soggy bread , if that was the start of the meal I wasn't looking forward to the rest . As for the carbonara , overly salty and just not very nice , not the standard you want. Over all horrible . Even though it's just up the road from me I wouldn't go back.

I forgot to take pictures of the plates, but this is second time in there, usually we ask for take away. The staff is very kind and friendly, and have no need to wait for a place to seat. These time we try some different starts and was a good decision, my mozzarella frita was superb, I highly recommend!

Usually really good but partner was left disappointed today, it was over 20minutes late and his dinner cone without a Yorkshire pudding which is his favourite part, he will order again in hopes the order will be correct.

Lovely staff, fab food and fab prices

Walked in without a booking last Friday just after 5, got seated straight away. We had a lovely meal, steak and risotto. Was offered a strawberry shot when paying which i thought to be a nice touch. Helpful, pleasant staff. Will be back

After not going for a few years we recently returned and have now been 3 times in the last couple of months. We have enjoyed every visit and love having a decent Italian restaurant within walking distance. Lovely pizzas and good choice on general menu. Great food and excellent service from friendly staff means we're now planning on being regulars.

Really disappointed on our last visit. I ordered the fillet steak which was tough and chewy. When our plates were taken I mentioned how bad it was. That was the last we seen of the server. The owner did come to see us and basically said they'd had no other complaints and had served many steaks. Basically insinuating I was a liar. He said he'd sorted and sent two deserts. We'd already been asked if we wanted deserts and said no. Just disappointed with the way it was dealt with. I'd think twice about going again. I don't think your custom is appreciated, especially in these hard times.

43 of us went to Mambos yesterday for my husbands surprise meal, the food all came out together and was absolutely delicious, the staff done an amazing job, making sure the party had everything they needed, Mo was as usual superb.... absolutely amazing and the best restaurant we have. Well done to you and all the staff Mo x

Lovely atmosphere, tasty food, reasonably priced and very friendly staff. Our in laws live in the surrounding area and swear by the food and service. We have been a number of times and always had grest service. Our youngest daughter loves it too and the staff often make a fuss of her, which dhe loves. It's also a stones throw from a Metro stop so makes it accessible to far more people.

The staff are absolutely disgusting the way they talk to customers! The customer service is appalling! The food was awful! I would never go back! It used to be lovely when it was owned by the original mambos family but it’s been taken over and kept the same name by someone called MO apparently but his attitude is disgusting! Wouldn’t waste your money!

Never had a bad meal in the restaurant or delivery. Always made to feel comfortable and decent prices.

Lovely fillet steak home cooked chips, nice ambiance, very friendly, clean looking forward to our next visit.

I ordered the ribeye steak, chunky chips with the cheesy sauce and was delicious. I would definitely recommend with place.
